I was highly disappointed with this book as it was just a print version of everything that is available on scaledagileframework.com. I felt as though I wasted my money...

Good book for a SAFe overview.
The framework is too prescriptive and shu-level for my taste.
But I can see how it will fit in traditional environments and act as a first step.
What I am really excited about is hearing what happens next, where are the organization that started out with SAFe and now have Inspected and Adapted for some time. What have they learned?

SAFe is not that bad after all.

However, the book, as well as the website, lacks detailed examples and no-marketing-bullshit implementation stories. The amount of obvious statements is just overwhelming.

Unfortunately, still the best way to dig into SAFe that I'm aware of.

SAFe appeared not as bad as I initially expected, but the book is extremely dull. It has no life. Still OK intro into SAFe for experienced agile practitioner.

Now I have a better overview of the SAFe. And the current advertisements of the current SAFe training's.

Too bad that authors wanted to rename a lot of the known phrases and abbreviations.
Alike IP - is not an Internet Protocol. And even "Quick Wins" are called a "Short-term" wins.
That's confusing. And that made me wonder, several times - what are the talking about... writing about.
Anyway - SAFe looks promising in a next decade or so. Even with all the imprecise descriptions and flaws.
