With the secrets of Mello’s infidelity, Patsy is left with a baby, drinking problem and decision to make on her marriage. For years Patsy’s life has been about her husband. Usually when a book series follows the same characters from book one to the last book, I stop caring about what happens to the characters around book three. So I prematurely planned to stop reading this series after this book. I would like to say that I’ve changed my mind and will finish this series. I. AM. HOOKED.
I haven’t had a favorite character so far, but Milli is working his way into that spot. I love that he’s holding Mello accountable, helping Patsy, a good friend to Thor, coming to terms with his feelings for Kelsie, and loves Miracle. That chapter with him and Miracle had me looking like this while reading: 🥹 I need Kelsie to get her shit together. Like I know what happened between her and Milli happened (chapter 21) or whatever, but I’m not trusting her to do my friend good immediately in the next book.
(Side note: Miracle is a lot more vocal in this book, and she’s even more adorable. And Jahquel I know you finished writing the series but stop putting this baby in the damn hospital. My niece needs a break lawd lol.)
I mentioned in my review for the previous book that I started off not caring about Mello and Patsy’s storyline, but I’ve done a complete 180. I hope Patsy stands on business. Like I’ll understand if she doesn’t because Mello is her husband, but like girl he did you extra dirty. Make that 🥷🏾 suffer and face the consequences of his actions.
And it’s cute how in love Thor is with Michelle. My good sis deserves it. However, I know Michelle bet not be at the prison visiting who I think she visiting 😒

Character: I am absolutely loving Milli right now. I really love his love for Kelsie's daughter, Miracle. Every child deserves to have a father that will be there for them, and he made sure that he was present even if Kelsie didn't like it. When he announced to Kelsie that he wanted to adopt her, I started becoming so emotional. I love this for him.
Thoughts: There was so much that happened in this book. There were so many secrets unraveling, and I became irritated with Mello. All of these outside children and when you are held accountable for your actions-only because you were caught-now you want to make it work with Patsy. This irritated my whole soul and there are a lot of men and women out here playing in these streets like this. Secondly, Kelsie's feelings for Milli are all over the place. Instead of being honest with herself in the beginning of the book, she wanted to argue with Milli over small things rather than just be honest about her feelings. Now, that we are in book three, I wanted them to settle their differences.
On the other hand, Kenyetta knew that she was being intimate with a married man. Mello and Kenyetta are both at fault and she should have walked away from him then. When he mentioned to her that he was married, she had a choice to leave but she continued and now we are in a super messy situation. She's upset but stayed and now Mello's mother wants him to get custody.

The DRAMA is on 1000..Praying that Millie finally get it together with his girl because that is definitely his girl and that thing he ready to adopt all my God I just love me some Millie.... He loves him some miracle to perfect storyline of our Lord it is amazing all the drama has got me on edge of my seat wait and see what happens next yeah I know grilling at the jail visiting that damn Tarra Sheen get enough of that ass whooping but I think she's going for Kloshe Lisa hope anyway here comes the drama with her Anthula she Betta get it together Foushee lose the best thing that happened to that as far as mellow I don't know which one his mind what would make him do that to his wife Patsy going give them a run for his money I see that now go ahead and stand on your own out freaking standing I can't wait for the next

Ok all of the characters are garbage except for Michelle and Thor. There are the only two of the three couples that seem to have grown from book one.
There is a lot of info in the book but I wish the author would have left some stuff out (i.e. the grape scene) and developed the MCs individual relationships more on page. Without the that it’s seems like Two instalove stories and one long term relationship where we have to assume as the reader that they loved each other deeply.
I realllllllly don’t like Milli or Mello. Both are pretty horrible and Patsy and Kelsie could do way better. Watching the girls whine, complain, and swoon over those red flags is disappointing. To be honest Patsy and Kelsie aren’t really good FMCs either but I would like them to start winning.
The double standard of the MMCs getting to sleep around while the FMCs are constantly being challenged as unloyal is wild. At this point I’m struggling thru but I want them to all grow and I’m still hoping to see that and now I’m wondering if it will happen especially since there is a book five yet to be released.

I’m gonna wait till I finish this series before I get my final review. But I will leave this disclaimer. OMG the female narrator is so aggravating with her voice. And I am so pissed that we’re stuck with her for book 3 and 4.

So I think I’m done with this series. While it’s entertaining it also could have ended with this book or in 2 books. At this point I just feel like the author is dragging on a story that could have been summed up and from what I’ve heard there are still like 2-3 more books in this series. I’m done. 🤷🏾♀️

I am really enjoying this series. There’s lots of drama going on with all of these characters. I initially was thinking Michelle was gonna lose Thor traveling everywhere working while leaving Thor alone. It seemed they were getting alone really well until the ending. Who the heck she visiting in prison?
Milli is such a good guy. I love the way he loves Miracle. I hope Kelsie stops BS’ing and gets it together.
And Mello and Patsy. If she takes him back that will be very interesting because he did her dog dirty. Cheating and having 1 child is bad enough but he has 2 by Kenyatta. Scandalous!!!!

Is it just me?
Kelsie is not a likable character. she keeps saying it didn’t work out with Millie and she wants to give Eamont a fair. chance but yet she never gave Millie a fair chance.She keeps creating bad situations and then cry victim. She was the who kept forcing a situation with Marcus instead of just filling child support and leaving it in the courts hand then when Marion show her true self she upset. Nah you put yourself in that situation.
Kenyatta is such a B, how dare her tell mello to get rid of his wife’s baby?! Wow the audacity of her. This character and situation really touched me and made me really emotional .

Friend, I’ll be damn if these books don’t send me on a whirlwind. I’m so stressed the hell out behind everyone. Kenyatta is by far the ditziest Dora heifa I’ve ever read about. Patsy better not take Mello back. Michelle got me confused as hell in the end. Thor gullible ass done opened a restaurant for the heifa that cheated on him and lied about yet thought he could trust her. His momma still a drug addict. Baby I am stressed. Kelsie isn’t going to have the balls to cut Emont off and play with Milli’s heart. Everyone needed their ass whipped in book 3. I mean belt to ass for everyone!!!

The drama!
This series is so good! Even though there is drama, it’s not for drama’s sake. It is the ups and downs that happen in life. I really wish Kelsie and Milli would get it together. Even if they don’t work out as a couple, Miracle deserves to be loved by a dad and biology doesn’t matter. Mello is a hot mess but it seems like he is coming to his senses. And I’m so glad Thor cut off Maggie!

Drama, Indecisive, Confusion & More Drama!!
Kelsie, Kelsie, Kelsie…What mama are you evening doing? you are a confused little grasshopper aren’t cha? I dont understand for the life of me why Kelsie doesn’t want to embrace her feeling for my guy Millie. Its like since book 1 of meeting Milli she did everything in her power to push that man away. Now she has moved on with Emont and is giving him every chance that she didn’t give Millie. She sleeping with homies trying to get over a homie. That’s not cool!!!
Anywho, I personally thing that Kelsie should let Milli adopt her daughter because he really loves that little girl. I hope that situation plays out in Milli’s favor. Now, on to Thor and Michelle…I really love that they are finding love and trust with each other. They deserves it. I pray nothing comes and messes with their union because they are too cute together. On the other hand, Maggie old untrustworthy a$$ is trrying her hardest to get her old thing back. Don’t thing Thor wants her back, he only has eyes for Chelle, and i love that for her. I’m also glad that Thor kick Maggie’s old hating nasty drama felt tail up out of his resturant.
Let’s speak on the home wreckers Mello and Kenyetta. Man he really did his big one on his wife and marriage. He had a whole family in Atlanta and was married to Pasty. That what he did was foul and i hope Pasty moves on and let him go back to his side chick and his out of wedlock son’s (now the kids don’t have anything to do with what grown folks do, but still, truth is the truth. Im beyong estatic that Pasty thought about her unborn daughter and decided to stop drinking and to put herself first.

Kenyetta has entered the chat!!!! I wish I could say I feel bad for her but I don't. It seems like she was raised right, and her mama tried to tell her but this bish really thought she was finna get that man to leave his wife. No way, no how.
Mircale really is a Mircle. OMG I love that little girl soo much. This time last year I read a Kennedy Ryan book and bawled my eyes out when her pregnant character got into a car accident and had a stillbirth. I was like damn she has babies catching strays how insane. Jahquel musta read that same book and was like "Hold My Beer" cause she has put this baby girl though it and there are still 3 more books to read. Got me all in my feelings.
Thor is a damn fool when it comes to Maggie. Not sure why he's allowing him to play in his face. Michelle is a good one cause I would have slapped the taste out that chick's mouth and pulled rank. He could have caught these hands too for letting that bitch in my home.
I'm so proud of Michelle, she's experienced so much growth. Sadly, having started book 4 I know that she's still dumb. SMH
Patsy & Melo, okay this is the book where they shined! I loved seeing Milli and Patsy bond. I am not gonna act like I'm a Patsy fan. I feel like I understand her motivations, triggers, and history but I still want to shake and scream at her for her poor choices. With that said, I'm glad she respects herself and knows when to let go.
Melo needs to accept that you can't just go make two babies on your wife and expect her to forgive you and step into the step mama role without issue. My dude, you are being ridiculous.

Really though this book was crazy. Patsy had me looking at her sideways with that continuing to drink know she pregnant. Glad that baby girl made her get it together. Nice seeing Milli be there for her. Kenyetta need to sit her gold diggin self down somewhere. Got a degree and want somebody to sit there and take of you. Child please😣😣😣. On another note so glad that Milli and Kelsey stopped being so stubborn and got it together. Kelsey better not back track again. Miracle and Milli already have that father daughter relationship. He really stepped up with that dance, too cute. Michelle better not have done what I think she did. There had better be a really good reason for that ending. Need that next book like asap. Great job.
Really though this book was crazy. Patsy had me looking at her sideways with that continuing to drink know she pregnant. Glad that baby girl made her get it together. Nice seeing Milli be there for her. Kenyetta need to sit her gold diggin self down somewhere. Got a degree and want somebody to sit there and take of you. Child please😣😣😣. On another note so glad that Milli and Kelsey stopped being so stubborn and got it together. Kelsey better not back track again. Miracle and Milli already have that father daughter relationship. He really stepped up with that dance, too cute. Michelle better not have done what I think she did. There had better be a really good reason for that ending. Need that next book like asap. Great job.

I really don't get men why mess up that bad and then want something to go back to the way it was.It doesn't work like that.Kenyetta is trifling as they come too,how you gonna know and continue to do that.I don't blame Patsy I would be pissed and drinking crazy as well.I swear Kelsie and Milli dancing on my nerves forreal.Bout time Kelsie wished up and took his ass to court.Milli is such a great man I love the way he cares for Miracle.Thor and Michelle are so cute I'm happy for them.That ending is going to drive me crazy doe.Cant wait to read part 4 tomorrow

They just keep getting better!
Just like the last time I want Myshon and Kelsie together Emont is cool but he isn't Milli. Wish Kenyetta keep it moving she need to co parent with Mello and move on yes I know she's hurt but once she found he was married she could've kept it moving. I just love Thor and Michelle together I'm still waiting on her to get pregnant though, I also Kenyetta doesn't try to hurt Patsy bc she's having a girl.

I love the relationship Milli has with Miracle. He still wants to be her life even things don’t work with him and Kelsie. I love the relationship that Thor has with Michelle. Can’t wait to find out why she was in the prison. Patsy is making Mello sweat and making sure that she takes care of her and the baby. Kenyatta gets on my nerves and is very selfish. Kim keeps it real and don’t discriminate on why it is. Wish we had more Mother’s like her.

Kenyatta knew what it was with Mello once he said he was married. Like I understand that feelings were involved after you had your first child however of he never told her he was leaving his wife she should have made sure they didn't have anymore kids. You not carrying his last name but yet you saying you want ti give him a daughter. I hope that Kelsie lets Myshon adopt Miracle.

So much to say
Too much to say but I’m just not. It was a good book, I like how she told other ppls story not just through their point of view. Although that makes it being a first person book pointless especially with it being told from 7 points of view.
Thor is the best character, might need to give the brothers one of his characteristics cause they lacking in comparison. Milli surprised me this book though, he’s growing on me.

With each book it’s so much more drama & I’m here for it. It seems like Kelsie & Milli might be on the same page FINALLY, with expressing their feelings for one another. Hopefully Kelsie ends things with Emont sooner than later. Milli is a good dude &

I can’t stand Kelsie. I would have been put Marcus on child support, I don’t even know why she waited this long or giving him chance after chance. She feels one way and says another with Millie - playing mind games. And then gets upset like she didn’t cause the situation she is in. Like I’m over her - I just need her and Millie to get it together for Miracle’s sake. I love Thor - he is a really good guy and Michelle needs to be honest from this point on. I can see them getting married.

OMG!!! Kelsie is working my nerves why give Elmont and Marcus a chance but not Milli?!??!?? He has done way more than the others! I really need for them to grow up. I'm soooo proud of Patszy 🥲 she's really trying and I'm glad she ain't being no sucker with Mello!!! His side chick is crazy and done lost her mind. I was soo proud of Michelle until she just pulled this plot twist on me at the end Thor gone lose it 😩😩 Lawd I hope he don't go back to Maggie.
