Fast-paced and full of action. There’s so much that the main character doesn’t know—and by extension, we don’t know—so there are a lot of gaps in understanding what’s what, as it’s just pushed on her (and us). So there is a lot that is a mystery that will be revealed and a lot for the main character to learn about the world she’s gotten pulled into (the book ends with her starting at a school to learn about all the stuff so). So it’s very intriguing even though confusing! And the characters are interesting and I want to know more about them (the side characters are more interesting to me than the main character though).
