I have read another Creek pocket guide book and had a similar thought about it. This book is great for a go bag. This book seems to be mostly meant for reference rather than for teaching. If you are somebody that already knows how to do this but is at the beginning stages or May want to have some sort of reference in their camping gear this is excellent. If you're someone that wants to learn step by step how to set up a tarp for camping I feel there are probably better books. Again, if you are looking for a book for quick reference in a go bag this is probably your best bet.
