There are some thought-provoking questions in this study guide to the passion of Christ and some very interesting ideas. I would lead a discussion of this even though I haven't seen the movie. I'm almost afraid to watch the movie because I'm very emotionally attached to the subject this book is a little heavy on the other sources but I did see some traditional books by established authors and I have wanted to read those books. I will keep this book in my reference library because of the questions and also because of The questions. This book is not a recounting of the movie so because some of the questions are related to the movie I would definitely recommend watching it as a group. His suggestion is made at the beginning of the book and I understand why.
