Jennifer Locklear was born on the Colville Indian Reservation in north central Washington state and is a descendant of the Okanogan band of the confederated tribes. She writes the “wildly erotic” Constellation series in addition to Exposure, a Hollywood based romantic comedy, co-written with her husband, Morgan Locklear.
Jennifer also works in fundraising and development for one of the Pacific Northwest’s top non-profit organizations and currently lives on the beautiful Oregon coast with her high school sweetheart, two children, and a 13-year-old cat.
Prior to publishing her first novel, she was a contributing reviewer for the Bookish Temptations book blog. She is also a founding moderator of Argyle Empire, an approved fan site for New York Times and International Best-Selling Author, Sylvain Reynard.
I'm still reading and re-reading this anthology and happy to have both the kindle and paperback. The forward by Sylvain Reynard touches me as all of his writing does. Something I found profound from him is this, "Love and friendship create; they don't destroy. Constructive criticism prunes but doesn't cut."
These seven author friends of his and mine were named the muses by SR seven years ago. They are a part of a reading and writing community that have bonded through their creative and supportive interactions. Terry, another of SR's readers and friends is missed by all and this book is dedicated to her with ALL proceeds going to a charity that is important to all of the muses and SR and particularly to Terry. I hope this book does raise awareness and funds for The Covonant House in Philladelphia.
That alone is reason enough to try this anthology, but the stories are wonderful too! I'm so proud of you Cranberry, GT, Peaches, Racer, Flora, Mango and Mog! I look forward to seeing you all in print again! ~Iris Elli elliedgasmswoon
Seven stories by seven very talented writers. I can't pick a favorite because they are all so different; Funny, Fantasy, suspense, Drama,& Romance. The forward by Sylvain Reynard is beautiful. If you are like me you will be rereading this Anthology over & over again. Congratulations and well done; Susan K. Swords, Tara Severance, Shari Ivey, Kris Babe, Becca Vry, Jennifer Locklear & Morgan Lockler. ❤️
What a great collection of different stories, I enjoyed some more than others, but overall it was fabulous, and am truly pleased that my purchase will be going to such a wonderful cause.
When I first heard about this book I was totally intrigued because I knew it would be really good, and you know what? I was right.
Reading this Argyle Anthology you’ll find nine stories well-written, really interesting and very different from each other (Comedy, romance, suspense, fantasy, drama and prose). I liked them all.
It is a good book that everyone should read and the best part is the purpose of this book which is giving support to Covenant House PA by donating all proceeds from this anthology to their organization.
This is an anthology I’ll cherish till the end of time. Truly! A collection of inspiring and creative tales, all brought into one book. Each story relayed redemptive and poetic essence. Oh, how I wish to have been a fly on the wall during The Stud! There are so many wonderful things I can go on about Musings, and the greatest fulfillment was turning the final page to discover the Handsome Neighbour had finally found his happily ever after. Thank you for sending me the paperback copy, Susan K. Swords. And thank you to all the authors who took the time to bring memorable characters and stories to life. Lastly, thank you SR for being an inspiration not only to me but everyone in this community.
What a fun, eclectic anthology. In some of the stories we revisit some familiar characters from the world Sylvain Reynard introduced us to. And other stories are just fun. I read some new stories by new authors whom I now have on my radar for future reads. To top it off, the money raised by this book benefits a worthy cause!
