Wow. This book kept me on my toes. I haven't read a Claire Adams book in a very very long time and was so impressed. Sometimes you see a person day in and day out but just one moment makes you realize wow this is it. Well that's how Gabriel found himself getting married to Luna. She finally lets go fir the first time in her life and has so much fun it's crazy!!!! I'm sure you've heard of those people who are repressed their whole lives and when they finally let go it's so wild well that's what happened to her. But they also say what happens when your drunk is true? Well she wanted to get married and was happy about it. When he is accused of murder she believes deep down he's not capable of something so despicable. Things get crazy from there. Things get angry because he keeps trying to talk about this marriage but the time never seems right!! So is he or isn't he? Are their other suspect or not? Can he prove his innocence? Oh did I mention he's a security expert? Well love always has a way of sneaking its way in. Her best friend is funny and helps her keep a steady head through these crazy memories. This has a HEA. No Cheating and no cliffhanger. Enjoy!

Luna had been with for Gabriel for awhile. He had asked her to come to Vegas for a conference they had separate rooms. After dinner
they went out to the casino drinking gambling and to the little wedding chapel.
When Luna wakes up in the motel room she see her boss Gabriel in a panic wanted to say something. Luna asked if they sleep together because she was still a hungover virgin. Gabriel assured her that he didn't touch her. When she finally comes around they were going to have some coffee but, a knock on the door and when Gabriel answer it the LVPD. They wanted Gabe to go with them to question him about the murder of his 2 ex girlfriends in the hotel.
This is where the fun starts when Luna does not remember really what happened the night before so she really couldn't give Gabe an excuse.
Will Luna and Gabriel be able to overcome all the obstacle and find a HEA you will have read the book

Perfect from beginning to end!
Great cast of characters. You have the billionaire Gabriel, his assistant Line, Her friend Kim, Her father a preacher, his lawyer Mason and his bodyguard Joe. Plus a pain in the butt sister-in-law and nephew. As well as the household staff. This is a case of what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas. Gabriel is under suspicion for two murders. The night before he a nd Luna went out celebrating and got so drunk that Luna couldn't remember the night. Come to find out they got married. Then everything builds up from there. I really like how the author put all this together and we don't find out who done it until the very end.

Luna and Gabriel have certiantlity got themselves into a pickle. If getting drunk and waking up married wasn't enough of a snafu for the boss and his gal Friday lets add three murdered woman into the mix... oh and Gabriel's alibi cannot remember anything. With someone clearly out to frame him, Gabriel is not only try to clear his name but convince his wife to stay married to him. Those are a couple of tall orders! As tension mounts feelings grow, but with a killer on the loose who can they really trust

Definitely liked this one. Luna & her boss head to Vegas for a business meeting, and along the way, wind up tying the knot after celebrating a bit too much and then Gabe is framed for two crimes. Luna can't remember much about the night, even her wedding, so it seems like she won't be able to vouch for Gabe's whereabouts. When they're finally able to return home, they gave Luna's father's disappointment and worse. Luna almost becomes the next victim, but Gabe saves her, and they both realize that they have fallen in love with each other. Wonderfully written!

Then, there's a twist. 2 of his former liaisons are murdered at the same hotel. Of course, he is the prime suspect. So, they have to stay married for a while. You know what happens next.
A breezy read with a very happy ending.

DNF. Desperately needs an editor.
Actually, I had hardly begun when on page one the author wrote "the smell of alcohol permeating from my pores". A synonym is pervading and neither should be followed by "from". On the second page " forcing my eyes to welcome the light". It was over before it began.
Please hire an editor to assist in making your work good. Get a professional with a reputation for excellence. Then try again

Great storyline
Enjoyed reading this a lot. Opportunity to improve would be better editing. I found typos, incorrect use of words (weather for whether etc) and wrong pronouns which detract from a smooth read.

4.5 Amazing Stars! Luna wakes up not remembering a thing about the night before due to drinking too much. She finds herself in Vegas in bed with her boss, Gabriel. Gabriel on the other hand remembers everything about the night before including their wedding. Next there is a knock at the door and it is the police. They are there to question Gabriel because two of his ex-girlfriends are both dead and in the same Hotel that he is in. The only problem now is Luna is his Alibi and she cannot remember a thing. What will happen now between Luna and Gabriel and will she believe he is innocent? This book captured my attention from the beginning and I could not put it down until I was finished. The author writes a well-written story that I thoroughly enjoyed. I found the story to be suspenseful, mysterious, romantic, and full of twists and turns. I found the characters to have amazing chemistry and felt what they were feeling as I read the story! I look forward to reading more stories by Ms. Adams! I highly recommend it!

When I started reading this book I couldn’t remember why I agreed to read it. It started out with some tropes that I hate to read about. Then the police knocked on the door and I realized there was more to the story. Luna went to Las Vegas with her boss Gabriel for work. She awakes the next day with no memory of what happened the previous night and only Gabriel can fill in those gaps. But it’s kind of hard when he is being questioned by the police after they found the bodies of two of his exes in the same hotel. Luna is his only alibi but she can’t remember what happened.
I really enjoyed this book. It had romance, steam and a mystery. I was so confused about who did it and the actual person was a very plausible result. I really loved Luna and Gabe together. They were confused about their true feelings and scared to be hurt by the other. I really loved the conflict and the resolution between the couple. All I can say is I was presently surprised by this book and would definitely recommend it.

This book will keep you invested all the way through. Luna is in Vegas with her Boss for work. But when she wakes up she doesn't remember anything from the night before and immediately things she's slept with her boss. Only Gabriel her boss can fill in the blanks for her. But before they get the chance the cops are knocking and Gabriel is the main suspect in the murder of not one but two of his ex-girlfriends right there in the same hotel they are staying in.
When Luna starts piecing the night before together she's beyond embarrassed. But Gabriel takes it all in stride. He's had a thing for his assistant but has never made the move. And her for him as well but he's her boss, she would never cross that line.
But what happens when Luna finds out they got married in her drunken stupor? Will she stay married to him or will she demand an annulment? Is Gabriel capable of murder?

First, let me state for the record that I'm in LOVE with this author! I'm not sure why I haven't read her by now, but I can promise I'm kicking myself, as I've seen her books being talked about, so I guess that I just came late to the party. This amazing story started with Luna waking up hungover in her boss's bed, not remembering how she got there. She's a good girl, and has never done anything crazy before. It only gets more wild when the police come to the door to take Gabriel, her boss, down to the station for questioning after two of his exes were found murdered in that same hotel. The icing on the cake is, she finds out that they got married. OMG this story started out with bang, and NEVER slowed down for a minute. I didn't move an inch until the very last page was read. Claire Adams has a brilliant writing style that captivated me from the very first sentence to the last, and my heart never stopped racing. Her twists and turns had my house filled with loud f-bomb dropping moments throughout, and I stayed on the edge of my seat. A few super steamy moments gave me a break from trying to figure out who dun it, as it will catch panties on fire everywhere. Not to mention the well placed humorous moments had me laughing a ton. I CANNOT WAIT to read more by this fantastic author, so I'll just end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this exciting story to ALL!

Enjoyed the novella. Sweet book. A happily ever after read.

I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book based on an advanced readers copy I received. OMG...this book was amazing. There was not a single moment when I was not captivated by Gabriel and Luna's story. This book has everything suspense, drama, love, and romance. A definite must read!
