Sometimes the joys of life are found in the little things.

Paul Yoder's life is defined by doing big things. He's charming, intelligent and filthy rich, but what he wants most is to find someone who will love him for what he is, not what he offers.

When Melody Harper looks in the mirror, she sees an overweight, unhappy woman. She may have lost half of her body volume, but

I read 'The Dean's List' last year and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it I had considered continuing on with this at the time but my to-read was huge and I couldn't really justify buying another book so I left it but now all three books are free under the title 'Making The Grade'
Paul was always a lonely sweet guy, he's in his thirties and has never had a girlfriend, he's rich and successful but he has an incredibly small penis, thumb size and it's ruined his life.

Paul featured in the first book as one of River's clients. He is insecure sexually because he is not very well endowed (it's the size of a thumb!) but now thanks to River's tuition, he has learnt how to pleasure a woman orally, he goes on a date with Melody and they are instantly attracted to one another. Melody has her own insecurities because she used to be fat.

Paul spends time pleasuring her but Melody is hurt he won't make love to her. They confess their love for one another within days. Thi

This book is a real page turner. Hooked from the start, and didn't want their story to end. His "shortcomings" hold him back, she feels too overweight for a good guy to look at. They both face scars, physically and definitely mentally, and together they can overcome them. It is just Paul needs to learn to let go as much as Melody does.

She is afraid of letting Paul see her. Being overweight all her life has left physical scarring but the emotional baggage it leads to is something hard to overcom

>Book review – The Graduate

>I am an independent reviewer. This story is a novella in the Making the Grade series and ends in an HEA. The reader first meets Paul in the earlier Making the Grade books. He is a large man with small equipment. River helps him to make the most out of what he has. She teaches him how to give pleasure and in turn boosts his self-esteem.

>In this story, Paul meets Melody. Melody is a large, curvy woman, who used to be obese. She is ashamed of the stretch marks o

An Awesome a Read!

I loved reading The Graduate: Making the Grade, all about Paul Yoder a wealthy man who is the Cheif Risk Operations Officer for his own billion dollar firm. He used to pay for escort services, and that's where he met River Roberts, she turned there time into tutoring lessons, where he learned how to please a women using a peach and other types of exercises. These were great things that helped his self esteem, and boost his confidence with various women. The last time he and Riv

Paul Yoder has definitely not been endowed with the right parts. He is an extremely successful business man but due to his small penis he has always been afraid to date. After meeting River (The Dean's List) he begins to build up confidence in himself and maybe he is ready to date.

Melody Harper has her own self esteem issues after losing a bunch of weight but still viewing herself as overweight. When she meets Paul maybe she will have a chance at finding someone who loves her for her.

Kelly Collins writes a great story, her characters are hot and heavy, they are funny and witty and you cant help but fall in love with them, you want to curl up with the men and become best friends with the women. This review is taken from the Making the Grade Trilogy.
The Graduate – Paul Yoder is charming, intelligent and filthy rich. But he also suffers with self-esteem issues, River helped him in the previous book, showing him ways to compensate his issues, and helping him gain some confidence

This book was a total delight and so different from any other romance that I have read. There was no macho hero who knew everything and did everything right, but a man who had issues from his childhood and was slowly dealing with them. Also, the heroine had dealt with her self-concept and was still working on convincing herself that she was a worthwhile person – deserving of love. This was an uplifting and “real” romance about two people who found each other and became friends as well as lovers. ...more

So, we meet Paul in the first book. You know they guy with a small penis and River turned him into an oral sex god with peaches. Towards the end of the first book, she sets him up with Melody. Melody is a waitress where River and Paul were meeting when they got together. This book is where book one ends and book two begins with these two. They end of dating. Melody thinks Paul is a great guy and falls fast and hard. Also, Melody is an artist and is a bit more curvy than other girls. And yes, tho ...more

I was always looking for that little spark. However, River told me I was looking in the wrong direction. The spark had to come from me. I could wait around for someone to stoke my fire or I could set the world ablaze on my own. Tonight I would be the figurative pyromaniac.

I’ll stare at you because you allow me to see you and I’m in awe of you.

The big emotions from the first book continue on in this little interlude. For such a little book it packs a heck of a punch. This is a good reminder that just about all of us have scars. And baggage. That what we show to the world seldom is all that we are. As a woman with more rubenesque proportions, I feel Melody's pain acutely. While I don't have the anatomy to fully understand Paul's situation, I can sympathize with his insecurities. I love how hard both of them work to show how attractive ...more

3.75 Stars....

I am happy Kelly eleborated on Paul and Melody after River got them together. I didn’t think he would follow through but I was proved wrong. Although, Paul did his best to help Melody through her insecurities he still held on to his without giving her the benefit of the doubt. It was as if he questioned her true love by going off his past. It cost him a LOT and he had to work to gain back the one woman that completed HIM and loved him for who he was inside and out.

A sweet ending for a sweet man!

This is Paul and Melody's story. Even though it stands alone you should really read The Dean's List: Making The Grade to get to know him better. He's a successful, wealthy man with what he feels are shortcomings. Melody is a young, attractive, talented art student with her own personal issues. This is a short story of two wounded souls finding each other. It's everything a sexy romance novella should be.

I received this book free for joining Kelly Collins' newsletter (when the story was still Cum Laude - it's The Graduate on Amazon). It is a continuation of the Dean's List and gives you Paul's story. It is very short but worth it. When 2 people with insecurities can finally learn to trust another and look beyond the physical to see what is underneath, there is a chance at happiness. I am so glad Paul got a story as I believe he really deserved his very own HEA.

A cute little love story

Paul and Melody's quick love story had me smiling at their endearing romance. You can't help but pull for the underdog, plus both of these characters had plenty of baggage in their pasts.
I was left happy and smiling for these two.

Another good read from Kelly. It was nice to see that Paul from the other story got his own and we see how far he has come to deal with his situation and over come his issues. It was a really good feel good kind of read that shows that nice goes do finish first AND gets the girl in the end.

Melody and Paul both have insecurities and learning to get over them makes their relationship a little bit rocky. A sweet story about falling in love and realizing your worth.
