This was book 52 in the "Suncoast Society" series. Simon Hall has had it with his lying cheating self absorbed boyfriend Greg and when he gives him an ultimatum Greg is unwilling to bend so Simon kicks him out. Simon wants someone to want him for him not someone who wants to watch him have sex with others. Greg had some issues with body parts that only worked when other's were around. Victor Dumont moved from Atlanta to Florida after breaking up with his boyfriend who was in the closet at work and had a girl has a beard. Victor is a real estate agent who works in the office with Lara. Simon works in admin at the hospital that Justin works at. While at a barbeque at Lara and Brads house he meets Everett and Wylie and finds out that they are kinky just like him and he wants to find a kinky sub so they agree to help him by introducing him to matchmakers. Simon has also agree to let Justin fix him up. Victor is also having problems in his new apartment and is having a hard time sleeping. When Simon and Victor meet at dinner with the gang and they both like what they see in each other. They begin to date and Victor wants to take it slow. The sex between these two were hot even before the kink. The apartment that Victor lives in is the same apartment that June's twin sister July died in and it is haunted and it spooked Victor so much that he moved out and in with Simon. Greg Simons ex has a key and has been going in and out of his townhouse and he was caught spying on them while they were getting busy and he was pleasuring himself it was creepy. This book was well written like the rest of the books in this series. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

What a great story of love.
Just a story about two people who want to be loved and accepted. Throw in a spooky night where the swear they saw something, then after some research find out the history of Victor's apartment. Adding to the mix is a jealous ex boyfriend is causing trouble for the men. A great addition to The Suncoast Society

This book is a short and sweet addition to the Suncoast Society series. Both Victor and Simon have been burned in their prior relationships. When they meet one another through friends, they are instantly smitten but vow to take things slow. But add in a uncomfortable living situation, a creepy ex-boyfriend and the feeling that nothing has ever been so right, the guys might just have to adjust their time table! A fun, sexy addition to one of my favorite series!

Simon and Victor have recently broken up with their exes when they meet through Suncoast Society friends (Victor is a colleague of Lara’s while Simon works at the same hospital as Rachel’s brother Justin). Victor’s apartment is giving him weird vibes and Simon has a spare room so when things get really creepy, Simon offers to share his apartment with no foul if they end up not going anywhere permanent with the growing attraction between them. They both have tender spots to be avoided, but things between them just keep getting better, if it weren’t for all the food going missing and making Simon feel something weird is still happening. Victor initially fears Simon won’t be able to accept his Dominant side, but little by little, Simon convinces himself to go farther down the rabbit hole of BDSM and the Frightful Five have successfully paired yet another Suncoast Society couple. What I loved most: the natural way they grew closer and decided to accept rather than doubt, the welcome from the usual suspects and the way they helped Victor move immediately without mocking him, the way Simon stood firm against Greg and his machinations. I’m looking forward to seeing more of these two in the party books. Another excellent book in the series

What a great story of just wanting to be loved! Both men had been burned in the past with a relationship but both were nervous about jumping into something they didn't think they were ready for. Loved it! Both characters were very likeable and you could feel their emotions while reading the book. Add in some surprising and creepy things and an ex-boyfriend who was mentally off and you have a wonderful story for an afternoon of reading! Do yourself a favor and pick this book up. Tymber's books are always at the top of my list!!!

I really liked...it was actually I think one of my favs of this series and I have read them all. Normally it always seems so serious when talking or reading BDSM but this was full of humor.

This is another great story in the series. We meet Simon and Victor as they get to know each other after they have each had bad relationships. We run in to old friends from previous books. I loved to see these two guys fall for each other even through the strange goings on in each of their homes. This may be my favorite book yet in the series, I'm already half way through is a second time. Can't wait to see whats next in this series.

Possible spoiler alert

Totally fabulous, as most of Tymber Dalton's work is!

Simon - sweet, lovable and totally fed up with his boyfriend (who quickly turns into an ex at the beginning of the book). He is willing to explore the kinky side of things because he never associates what his ex-boyfriend did to him with BDSM.

Victor - not so sweet (he's a dom after all LOL), lovable and through with guys who are in the closet so deep there's no sun shining on them (and guys who cheat, like his most recent ex). He is a sadistic dominant who is also into sexual sadism, he's the BEST type of dom to have, one that is kind and caring but decisive and sneaky in a good way.

Through the haunted apartment and the creepy ex-boyfriend, Simon and Victor have this AMAZING chemistry, kind of like Jesse and Leo (from Vulnerable). Tilly's matchmaker committee vet and sign off on this duo from the beginning as Tilly's in the U.K. This is an absolute joy to read, I'll probably re-read it again and again like I do all of the other Suncoast Society books. *grin*

Two people find themselves alone after leaving their wrong partners, starting fresh, meeting each other through friends and then they try to work it out together. This was one of the best books I've read! Tymber gave us a lot of background information on Simon and Victor, a little bit of believable paranormal, and a belief that true love does exist. Once I started reading the book I did not want not put it down. Tymber's writing just keeps getting better and better. If you don't like gay love, then this book is not for you. Otherwise, I would suggest this book for anyone who believes in a happily ever after.

Once again Tymber Dalton has worked her magic to weave a story that makes you want to invest in the characters right from the beginning. I find Simon, Victor and their story believable and heartwarming. I use to be a bit put off by MM stories as they seemed more smutty and the characters shallow and fake. That is not the case with Tymber's "Man Love Collection" addition to The Suncoast Society. I read them for the story and as an added bonus, the sex is HOT! I look forward to hearing updates on this couple in future Suncoast Books!

I liked this story. It's a continuation of The Suncoast Society series, but can be read as a standalone. It will help with some "inside" jokes, etc if you read the books in order though.

If you're looking for a story of finding your perfect match in life, add a little kink and this books is for you.

Rub Me Raw is the 52nd book in the Suncoast Society series by the incomparable Tymber Dalton. Anyone who's read my prior reviews for any of Tymber's books knows she's my favorite author and one of the very best out there. She has once again written an extraordinary novel centered around two very realistic and relatable people. You're definitely in for yet another delicious treat.

Rub Me Raw is the story of Simon and Victor. Simon Hall is a 33-year-old gay man who's been involved in a five-year relationship with Gary. But things have become wrong, very wrong. What started out as a loving relationship has devolved into one in which Simon is nothing more than an object for Gary to use for his own amusement and convenience. Gary is so self-involved that he sees Simon as nothing more than a sexual release and convenient servant. He uses Simon not just for sexual gratification (which, in and of itself, has become intolerable for so very many reasons) but for every other reason he can think of. Gary is truly a sponge. Simon works full-time, cooks, cleans, does laundry, takes responsibility for every detail of their shared lives. Gary does nothing but hold down a job and take advantage of Simon. After spending yet another weekend at the Toucan Resort in St. Petersburg, Simon is done. Done with Gary's sexual deviance, the cruel and insensitive behavior, the total lack of love and caring, He's definitely done with being Gary's servant. Yes, they've involved a bit of kink in their relationship but Simon's no slave. He's just done. It's over.

Victor Dumont is a 41-year-old gay, very successful real estate salesman living in Georgia. He's also a Dom and heavy sadist. After he issues an ultimatum to his long-time lover, Peter, to officially come out at work as being gay, Peter just picks up and moves out one Saturday, leaving Victor alone. Shortly afterward, Victor also learns Peter was dating a woman on the side to cover up the fact he's gay. That's the last straw. Victor was done. Wanting a fresh start, he moves to Sarasota where his friend, George, has a job waiting for him. Luckily, Lara Jarred also works in the same office. Victor and Lara become close friends. Lonely, and wanting to get back into the dating game, Victor accepts an invitation from Lara and her husband and submissive, Brad, for a barbeque. There, he learns that Lara, Brad, Lara's ex, Ev, and his husband, Wylie, are all members at Venture, the local BDSM club. It's like fate has intervened. When he's invited to the weekly Saturday night dinner at Sigalo's and then to the club afterward, Victor has no problem accepting the invitation.

Simon also wants to get back out and meet some new people. After he kicked Gary out, he realizes Gary's also cut him off from most of his friends. The remainder of the friends he has are mutual friends with both him and Gary, and aren't really people he wants to keep in touch with. While at lunch on the Monday after he kicked Gary out, Simon meets up with Justin Rede, a researcher there at the same hospital where they both work. Simon knows Justin's gay and lives with a gay, married couple. During their conversation, Justin asks how Simon's weekend was. His response? "I lost 168 pounds Sunday morning." When Justin expresses his sympathies, the conversation turns to the men's relationship status. When Justin invites Simon to the Saturday evening dinner at Sigalo's prior to going to Venture, Simon's really interested. Why not? If nothing else, he'll get to meet some new people and maybe even learn more about the BDSM that has interested him for awhile.

It's a setup, of course. When Lara learns Justin has asked Simon to Sigalo's, she and her friends make very sure that both men meet. And despite the eight-year difference in their ages, they hit it off immediately. Again, fate seems to be on both men's side. They spend the night, both at Sigalo's and Venture, talking and getting to know one another better. The more they talk, the more the attraction between them grows. But both have burned before, very badly. It will take a lot more than just simple attraction and pleasant conversation for this to go any farther. In the ensuing weeks, the attraction between Victor and Simon continues to grow, almost exponentially. It truly seems that the Universe has finally aligned for both men, and the future looks increasingly bright for both.

But things aren't always what they seem. Despite the growing connection between Simon and Victor, there are factors in play that neither is aware of. As their relationship continues to unfold, totally unexpected and off-the-charts bizarre things start happening at Victor's duplex. It's enough to either drive the men together or tear them apart. And then strange things start happening at Simon's townhouse as well. At first, they're just small things. Maybe Simon misplaced his keys. Maybe he threw things away that he can no longer find. But as the strange occurrences continue for both men, what is truly happening here? And will these totally unexplainable and truly bizarre episodes bring Victor and Simon closer or drive them apart? Can these two men build a love with the trust necessary to overcome the events that seem to have the ability to pull them together and yet still have the potential to destroy the very special relationship they have?

Tymber Dalton has once again done an outstanding job in creating another excellent Suncoast Society novel. In this reviewer's humble opinion, she's the very best out there. She easily crosses many genres, which is highly unusual for any author. Her books shine a spotlight in the deepest depths of the human experience. The Suncoast Society series is not just another BDSM romance series. The books are truly an open, honest look at the real people, their relationships, emotions, and every possible facet of each person's everyday life. She is not only an astute observer of human behavior. She's an author who can translate her observations into an unparalleled reading experience.

One final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains adult BDSM themes, explicit language, and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy erotic romance with explicit sexual BDSM scenes then PLEASE carefully think before buying a book you know you won't enjoy. There are always book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads, several Facebook review pages, and every booksellers' website. PLEASE use these resources so you're certain the book you're buying is one you want to read. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you'll object to the subject matter before you buy a book, you're doing both yourself and the author an extreme disservice. But if you do enjoy hot, erotic BDSM romances with thrills and chills throughout, I give my highest approval rating to Rub Me Raw. It's yet another wonderful novel by Tymber Dalton, and I give it my highest recommendation without reservation.

Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

The Romance Review

Back to smexy manlove getting it on! This can be read as a standalone and it is deliciously kinky. Simon is a sweetheart and a submissive who enjoys serving. This does not mean he should be taken for granted and be a free housekeeper. When Simon finally comes to a realization that he is receiving the short end of the stick, he ends his year-long relationship. Good riddance to bad rubbish! Go Simon!

After the past few books in this series which were quite downers, it is nice to have a break with two men getting their kink on. Yes, there are a few baggage issues for Simon, but for the most part, this story focused on the budding romance. The romance between Victor and Simon. They are perfect for each other as Victor is a dom who is looking for a faithful submissive. Preferably a submissive who is also out to the world and doesn't want to hide the relationship like a dirty little secret.

The kinky scenes in this story are sexy and make me drool. I can visualize the two of them together as Ms. Dalton's descriptions are vivid and colourful. Be still my rapidly beating heart. It is not all fun and games as Simon's ex does make a couple of appearances which are shocking and disturbing. It always surprises me when a former lover goes stalker crazy. Having never experienced this phenomenon, I just can't seem to comprehend it. Unfortunately for Simon and Victor, they are tangled up in it and it makes for a rocky ride.

This glimpse into the expanding kink family is heartwarming. I love seeing cameos from other characters just as much as I enjoy reading about the club. This series is one I'm hooked on and I kind of hope it never ends. Recommended to m/m readers who enjoy kinky relationships.

You always know what you're getting with Tymber Dalton's Suncoast Society series. Written with a deep knowledge of kink combined with wit and emotion, this was a good addition to the series. This is #52 but s with most of them, you can jump into the series at any point. There are lots of characters that appear in some of the earlier books but you can still get the gist of the story without having read them. The author's straightforward lines crack me up "He doesn’t have to be totally subby, although that’s preferable, but I’m not very bottomy. That means a full-on non-vers Top isn’t going to work out long-term." Okay, then! So this is about Simon who has had a messy break up with a longtime boyfriend and Victor whose has recently moved to Florida from Georgia after his own messy breakup. They meet and click immediately. Their respective kinks mesh well. I loved the development of their relationship - they respect and genuinely like each other. My only pet peeve is that odd bit with a ghost in the apartment - what?! Could have left that out but still a great addition to the SS series.

These two men have a quick attraction because both men seem to be in the right place at the right time to settle down. Their building relationship is very sweet. Their are some strange happenings that lead to the knowledge of some strange connections with other characters. And a bit of a still not completely resolved issue.

How weird that it turns out to be Julys room, and nothing on any listings for it. That's pretty crazy. Cool that Gilo was able to be at both ceremonies, to bad Tilly was gone. Glad they decided not to go to June and Srcye about what was going on. Glad that Victor and able to find them a property pretty quickly. Wonder what happened with Greg and his charges.

Ghosts and pervs

Simon and Victor are both recently single. The reasons they broke up with their exes gave them both insight into what they definately didn't want in a partner. So wben they were introduced by friends they may have movee fast but they were sure that the other was perfect for them.

As usual, this series book had its share of drams, a couple dabs of insight into other characters and their happenins from the series, a few long moments of rolling on the floor laughing with a topping of love.
