Sometimes what we go searching for has been right in front of us the whole time! A sweet story of finding a sense of belonging even when life doesn't go the way you want. The characters are enjoyable and carry the story to a happy fruition. A little slow in places, but overall a deep and meaningful read!
Savannah Walters hasn't been able to truly find her place in the world no matter how much she's searched. She's a product of her past and can't seem to get her head around the fact that the respo ...more

Such a good read!
It takes a while to figure out what exactly Savannah's deal is--which is a bit frustrating at first, but once we have the whole story? It finally makes sense, and from that point on--all the feels. Seriously, there were tears. More than once. Between Savannah and her mom, Savannah and Collin, and Collin and his little sister Amanda, the relationships in this book just slay me. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next for the people of Slippery Rock--Levi, Savannah's brot ...more

Savannah Walters has had an eventful life starting at seven years old when she was abandoned by her parents and left on the steps of the police station. Now at twenty-seven she returns home to Slippery Rock, Mo. after being involved in a scandal. She runs into her childhood crush Colin Tyler when her car runs out of gas. He's not really a welcome sight at this point but who knows what the future may hold. I enjoyed reading this book but found it to be a little repetitious and drawn out. It had i

Boring! It just didn't work for me! I don't mind books with characters over coming a lot but the romance didn't work and I didn't like the h at all.

I liked this book a lot, and I love Kristina Knight's writing. I loved the Walters family and most of the other inhabitants of Slippery Rock, Missouri. I can't wait to see the next story in the series.

Once upon a time, Kristina Knight spent her days running from car crash to fire to meetings with local police--no, she wasn't a troublemaker, she was a journalist. Her career took her all over the United States, writing about everything from a serial killer's capture to the National Finals Rodeo. Along the way she found her very own Knight in Shining Cowboy Boots and an abiding love for romance no
