I absolutely adore reading - always have and always will. My friends growing up used to tease me when I would trail after them, trying to read and walk at the same time. If I have downtime, odds are you will find me reading or writing.

I am the mother of two wonderful sons who have inspired me to chase my dream of being an author. I want them to learn from me that you can live your dream as long as you are willing to work for it.

When I told my mom that my new year's resolution was to self-publish a book in 2013, she pretty much told me "About time!"

IT'S LIVE!

I had forgotten how much I liked this cast of characters! It was great to revisit them!

Jason and CeCe's relationship started off rocky when a misunderstanding caused CeCe to leave. I was happy that it was remedied fast and wasn't drawn out.

Jason was a great hero. Devoted and faithful. Totally swoon worthy. He never wavered.

CeCe was a likable heroine. She was focused on her career, but never stopped thinking about Jason.

This was free of cheating or ow/om drama. Jason wasn't a manwhore hockey player and that was refreshing. No om drama. A couple of puck bunnies approached their table and CeCe put them in their place before Jason could shoo them away....they were insignificant.

If I could wish for anything it would have been the steam happening earlier in the book, and a further out epilogue. Also, the heroine was a few years older and that's not my "thing" but it really made no difference in the story.

*it had been quite some time since I'd read book 1 and after starting this, I'd wished I had done a reread. If you haven't read it, grab it because it's a great read. There is a set up for the next book and in dying to know what is going to entail!

Yay!!! Two Bachelorette Party books in almost one month! Talk about happy times!!!

Rochelle Paige gave us her amazing usual, because Checked into light is all light, low angst, insta-love/lust, sweet and ultra sexy to the very last word.

Jason and Cee Cee, are one of my favorite of Rochelle’s main characters, both strong and loving, funny and thoughtful, that are deeply captivated from their very first glance and lost for ever to the other, even if it took them a while to find each other again, lol…

The author’s way to balance all these elements and give us a fast paced and well developed little treat is exactly the reason why I get so excited upon a announcement – or even just an hint – of one of her releases. Therefore, now that I devoured this one, I’m already keeping an eye out for next. Please give us Jake soon!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“I’ve spent nine months thinking about you. How devoted do you think I’ll be if I actually have you, the real thing, in my life?”

“How’d you get so good at this relationship stuff?”
“I met you.”

When I read the blurb for Sucked Into Love I just had to one click it immediately. It sounded so fun and angst free I knew it was going to be a cute little read and I was dead on so when the chance came to grab an ARC for Checked Into Love I jumped all over it. And I am so glad because this has been such a fun series.

I probably should admit I can’t really remember the first book. It was 6 months and 100 odd books ago but I do remember that I loved it and I vaguely remembered the characters as I got a little recap of them in this one and all my lack of memory did was make me want to sit down and re read it. So now I have to dive straight into book three which has already been released and one clicked and is just waiting on my kindle so I can read them in order.

Cee-Cee and James had awesome insta chemistry and I loved them together from the first moment. James was all growling and jealous and alpha and I was madly infatuated with him from the very first page. He was just a perfect book boyfriend. He treated Cee-Cee like a princess and I loved that he was so sweet yet completely alpha in perfect balance. Cee-Cee was pretty good but for me the whole book was about James and I really couldn’t get enough of him.

And after the last sentence in this book I am assuming we have more to look forward to. And I seriously can’t wait. But for now I am off to read Mixed Into Love.

What a great swoony read! Jason was adorable and CeeCee had just the right amount of spunk and sass. I LOVED their first date. I was a little lost with the cast of characters at the beginning since I haven't read the previous book in the series nor the Blythe College series, but once I caught up I'm convinced I need to go read those soon :)

*thanks to Enticing Journey Books for sharing a copy of this with me*

This book showcases why I fell in love with Rochelle as a romance author. Classic love, fun, romance, and more romance. Shoot there was even a little bromance in here to. Jason for the swoon worthy win. Dang, Cecily, I am jealous of your young man but happy as heck for you all at the same time.

Without giving anything away just know that Rochelle killed it Blythe College originality style. Dang I miss this type of romance from the industry.

Jason, a hockey player, has recently graduated college and gotten a second chance to play professionally through his best friend, Luka. He's visiting a local bar in his new town when he sees her, and then he can't stop admiring the beautiful redhead.

Cecily (Cee-Cee), an employee of Pied Piper PR, is meeting with the bar's owner, a client of her employers. Though she's on a self-imposed man hiatus after a recent disastrous break up, her eyes are continually finding him.

Jason and Cecily strike up a conversation, flirting and having a great time, both knowing where it's leading. However, a misunderstanding occurs on Cecily's part when she sees something and instead of giving Jason a chance, believes the worst due to past experiences, and disappears on him.

Though nine months have passed since the night they met, neither Jason or Cecily have moved on, unable to stop thinking about the other and what might've been. When Jason finally learns of a way to see Cecily and discover what happened, the information comes from an unexpected source.

As their paths cross again, both realize the chemistry that night wasn't a fluke and thankfully the misunderstanding is easily resolved, though Cecily feels bad for all the time they missed due to her letting her past overshadow Jason.

As they begin spending time together, their connection strengthens and it isn't long before they recognize that what they've found is special. However, each is struggling with their own baggage, Cecily, having been cheated on in the past, wonders if she can date an athlete knowing the temptation constantly surrounding him, and for Jason, he's keeping a little secret regarding his family.

What happens when Cecily learns Jason's secret and it doesn't come from him? Can she understand why he hadn't told her yet? Can Jason show Cecily that even though he's three years younger, he knows exactly what he wants and that's Cecily by his side forever? Can Cecily trust Jason's loyalty, knowing he's nothing like her ex? Will these two get their HEA?

One-click now and follow along as Jason and Cecily get their story and discover a love that surpasses everything else. For those concerned with safety issues, such as myself, this book is safe and neither Jason or Cecily were with anyone else, nor did they want to be, during the nine months they were apart. I believe Alec's story is next and the last line of this story, a glimpse into it, has me so curious as to what his journey will be like.

Instant attraction when they meet but a misunderstanding has her ditching him before anything can happen. 9 months later the meet again and after clearing the air embark on a tentative relationship.
The h was perfect, took me a little to warm up to the h but she was ok and didn't have any tstl moments. Sweet story with no cheating and only mild angst.
Looking forward to Alec's story, I hope he gets a really worthy h.

Jason and CeCe's relationship started off a bit troubled due to a misunderstanding yet things rebounded when they met again and Jason wasn’t about to let CeCe leave on him again.
Jason is wealthy, hockey players who is all sexy alpha male and also throw in possessive cave man. Don’t get me wrong, he has a very sweet heart but he is all alpha when it comes to CeCe. He sees her as something to protect and he goes all total overprotective when it comes to her. Lets take CeCe then, she is the sassy, hardworking, independent type. Opposites definitely attract here.
As I was saying, these two had a misunderstanding when they first met so they get their second chance 9months later . Jason doesn't waste a second letting CeCe get away because he knows she is it for him and what he wants, he takes. He knows she is it, she is the woman he sees forever with. The best part is getting CeCe on board. This book has the push/ pull when it comes to romance, a heroine with a big heart, a sexy alpha hero, some humorous moments, definite steamy encounters between the MC, and a HEA. Each book in the Bachelorette series is a standalone, do know there are crossover characters from books but these are standalones. I would most definitely recommend reading Rochelle’s Blythe College series if you would like to know more about the secondary characters and I HIGHLY recommend this book. Would have liked a big longer epilogue , for it would have given more but I have a feeling we will see these characters again. These are a must read for any RP fan.

5 Stars!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, misunderstandings, naughty fun, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story please read the below books first
Sucked Into Love (Bachelorette Party #1)

This is Cecily and Jason’s story. Cecily has sworn off men after her ex cheated. When Cecily and Jason meet one night in a bar there is an instant connection but a misunderstanding has her walking out without a word. Now months later they meet again at their friend’s bachelorette party. Misunderstandings are explained. They are going to date but really Jason has already decided that she is the one for him. But with her past relationships to athletes going so wrong he is going to have to prove that he is the one for her. He has no problem doing that as he knows she is his and his alone. Can he get her to love him? Or is he fighting a losing battle?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

Good

Really enjoyed this story. This is the story of Jason and Cecily. This is definitely an Insta lust story. Both Jason and Cecily are smitten with each other the moment they meet but a misunderstanding separates them for nine months. Once they meet up again and the air is cleared their feelings for one another skyrocket. This was a sweet and sexy story with good all-around characters. I am ready to read Alec's story!

Rochelle Paige tally’s a win with CHECKED INTO LOVE. Professional hockey player, Jason Campbell, hasn’t been able to stop thinking about a woman he met just once, Cecily Thompson, since he met her, and she snuck off without saying good-bye. He runs into her nine months later at a friend’s bachelorette party, and is determined not to let her get away once more. CHECKED INTO LOVE takes place in Chicago. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult audiences.

Cecily is a fun heroine. She swore off relationships after a bad break up. This causes her to have trust issues. She has a great, yet overprotective family. She is hard working and good at her job in PR. I like Jason. He is a good guy. I love his interaction with Cecily’s family. The two have great chemistry. I’m glad their misunderstanding was resolved.

I enjoyed the plot. There were some appealing twists and enjoyable dialog. I thought the stuff going on with Cee-Cee’s job was interesting. Her boss proved challenging to work for. I liked Jason’s family’s business and understand why he doesn’t openly divulge his background. Being a Chicagoan, I like that the book takes place there. The story had a good ending that felt well concluded. This is the first book that I have read by Rochelle Paige. I enjoyed her writing style and would read something by her again. 2 or 2.5 stars. free on amazon; new to me author. this was a totally fine book. I just have so many books on my tbr that look tempting and this just didn't completely hold my interest. I did some skimming after about 25%. Jason and Cecily were fine; story was insta-lust, then a long period of time where they were pining for each other (off-page, though), then it was kind of bam-relationship. their text message banter was funny; the rest was more or less forgettable.

3.75-4 stars. This was a really good book! This is Cee Cee/Cecelia and Jason's book. Cee Cee meets Jason in a bar and feels an instant connection to him. They spend the evening talking and flirting, getting to know each other, but a mis-understanding leads to Cee Cee leaving the bar without saying goodbye or getting Jason's number. 9 months go by, with both of them thinking about each other , wondering what they could have had with each other. They meet again at their good friends' joint bachelor/bachelorette party. Neither of them want to let each other go again. They have a few obstacles to overcome. Cee Cee is a few years older than Jason (3 years) and Jason is a pro hockey player with women chasing him. But he proves himself to Cee Cee and only has eyes for her. They make a great couple!

I really liked Jason and Cee Cee together. There is some insta-lust that turns into love pretty quickly, but I liked the pace. This is a longer novella (196 pages), so it was a good length with plenty of time for relationship and character development. Cee Cee and Jason were really hot and swoony together. Overall, I really enjoyed this super sweet, easy read!

James is the perfect combination of sweet and sexy. I absolutely adored his character. He had a presence that would make any female dizzy with lust - a total catch! The author vamped his character in the best ways possible - adding heat and romance that made my heart smile with delight as I kept reading on. Luckily, this was a quick read because once I started, I knew I would not want to put it down until it was finished. I don't know whether I consumed the book or the book consumed me. I was lost into a world of Cee-Cee and James as reality left me for the evening.

I was able to relate to Cee-Cee's independent, yet vulnerable self. She never had an easy go at life and was determined to make it on her own. She managed just that. Even though she exuded the ability to carry herself well, she did not falter when she had to own up to her own mistakes. She was able to admit when she had things wrong. If she was real, I would so much want to be her friend and side-kick.

Rochelle did a fantastic job with the setting and build of this story. I highly recommend this as a go-to, must read. Her writing is always dazzling, inviting, steamy and gives you all the feel goods.

Checked Into Love by Rochelle Paige is the second book in the Bachelorette Series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. I love a good sports romance and this book definitely delivered.

Jason and Cee-Cee meet by chance and due to a misunderstanding their initial attraction doesn't go much further until they run into each other again 9 months later.

Cee-Cee has hang ups about dating a professional athlete because she was burned in the past. The fact that Jason is young doesn't help his case. But the attraction between the two is undeniable and Jason slowly begins to show her why he is the guy she has been looking for.

I fell in love with the sweet guy that Jason is right along with Cee-Cee and I loved their eclectic group of friends! I look forward to more from this series.

Where was the heat? But more importantly, where was the Alpha? Hardly any smexy times, but I guess they weren't together all that much, she was always working, he was on the road. I just wished Jason would've been a little more "caveman" like. This was meh for me.

3+ but not quite rounded to 4.

Very sweet, steamy story. Insta-lust between H and h, but also a lot of cute banter as they work their way around to a more solid relationship.

I guess the reason it wasn't more stars for me is that it was so quick and left me kinda empty - like junk food? Left me unsatisfied somehow. It felt more like a side novella in another series, just a quick update on some popular side characters. There were so many reappearing characters obviously from other books that it didn't feel as much like Cee-Cee and Jason's story, as an update on everybody.

Still, a free Kindle find. A quick, entertaining read. Just not as satisfying as some of the others I've read recently.

Such a smooth, easy, fast read. Filled with romance, no cheating, steamy sessions, very slight humor and sugary sweetness. But don't let that fool you, there are also hot, steamy scenes that will make your toes curl.

Jason is a hockey player and so darn sweet. Yep, I know that a man wouldn't like to hear that but it is the truth. He meets Cee-Cee on night at a bar and although she has sworn off all men after being hurt and cheated on, they end up talking for hours. After a misunderstanding, they are apart for nine months before meeting again.

A couple of thoughtful gifts and smooth moves on Jason's part and Cee-Cee can't help but fall for him.

Written from a dual pov and can be read as a standalone.

I am totally loving this series. The author has given us a story that you can dig into, with characters that are quirky and easy to love. It's always amazing when a story can drag you along and have you feeling like you are a part of it, one of the characters, in a town that makes you feel like home, and Ms. Paige has certainly succeeded at doing just that with this book. Jason and Cecily's story was full of ups and downs, with lots of action and excitement throughout. Never a dull moment, you will find it extremely difficult to put it down until you're done. Absolutely loved this book and am looking forward to the next in the series!

Both the MCs are foul-mouthed.
Do you go up to a stranger and when the first line they give you is : “I saw you eye-fucking me the whole time”, you respond, not with, “Excuse me?” but “I was not eye-fucking you”??
And do you, as a 25 year old woman now hanging with a 22 year-old lad, warn off the puck bunnies (God how I loathe that term, which implies no culpability on the part of the men at all) with: “you like dick that comes with a hockey stick.” About as charming as saying to those girls: “Being slutty doesn’t make you more fun than me, just easier.”
Charming.
