Review Summer Lane’s State Of Hope

Before the actual review, at little background information. When I review a book, it is not based on all the books, I have ever read, not just. It is based on the genre (and this one is one of my very favorites) It is based on the previously book in a series, or by the author and yes, it is based on books I have read though time (A lot) So, to the actual review;

I loved this book. Of the series, I think this is my favorite, along with the first one. Cassidy Hart

I have to admit that when I received the preview copy of this book I never dreamed I would stay up all night reading it. I could not put it down. The book contained the gamut of emotions from tears to laughter, victory to defeat, and everything in between. Summer Lane has created a believable world in which her characters reside and fight for their freedom every day. The complexity of her characters speak of a well thought out story, and the plot throughout the ten books of the Collapse series h ...more
ARC provided by the author in exchange for honest review.
I'm extremely torn over this book and it has left my emotions in a battle of their own. The conclusion of 10 + books (if you read the Zero Trilogy and Unbreakable Seal) requires so many things to be solidified and tied together. Summer Lane again takes us on an extraordinary journey with Cassidy and the Angels of Death. This book was just as heart pounding, and full of battle and adventure as the rest, however this installment took my emot

I have looked forward to, and dreaded, this final book in the series. I don't want it to end! However, Summer Lane has done it again. There were so many twists and turns in this book that you just can't put it down. There is not a lot that I can say without giving away the secrets of the book, but it made me cry both sad and happy tears. After reading all 10 books, I felt a connection with Cassidy and I love how I could feel the emotions as she was going through them. That is the #1 sign of an a ...more

What a emotional rollercoaster this last instalment of the Collapse Series took me on. I am completely shattered that this series has come to a end. It is by far one of my very favourite series. I love how Cassie steps up even more in this book and takes on the leadership role. Cassie has been through so much already and she goes through a lot more in this last book but...she never gives up hope. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to read a end of the world apocal

Oh holy Mary this book is amazing! This book has so much in it that I literally can't say too much! Summer is the master of surprises, I was weeping, sad, angry, confused, and happy then less happy.
I'm glad that the series is done and we will be getting to see a new spin off (if that's what we are calling it). I was quite surprised by parts and the sneak peak into the next book (in the spin off) is leaving me excited for me because quite frankly I need some conclusions for situations personally

What an emotional rollercoaster this last book in the Collapse Series took me on. I loved this series and am sad its now ended but it will always be one of my favorites. Cassie has been through so much already and she goes through a lot more in this last book but she never gives up hope.

Wow so much excitement in one book! None stop action with Cassidy Hart at the center of it all. Twists and turns to keep you guessing and just when you thought you had it figured out another shocking twist. This one pulls at your heart strings, the best one yet!

This was such a superb completion of the Collapse series. Nothing was left undone and it leaves you with a feeling of accomplishment because the characters that we've identified through all 10 books with accomplished so much. As with all Summer's books (and I've read all of them in this genre to date), this one has excellent detail and it sucks you in from page one and doesn't let you go until the back cover. This is one fine author and if you read any of her books, you will undoubtedly come awa ...more
Mmm... what the hell was this??? Don't get me wrong I really liked this series but this one was like an action comedy, a bad political drama and the worst soap operas combined, all it was missing is someone with amnesia and an evil twin! It was annoying as hell that no one even suspected the traitor to be the person who it was, it was so obvious. And Cassie playing Rambo defeating a small army on her own?! The way backup kept showing up out of thin air?! Give me a break, I don't know much about ...more

Hats off to Ms Lane. You did it again. Just when I think there's no way you could beat the previous, you did it again. You had me in tears, and kept me in suspense. Losing characters is like losing friends and it was difficult to keep reading but the nagging "what next" kept me at it :).
The book is amazing. I'm a life long fan and follower of Summer Lane's books, and this one follow the tradition of keeping her readers hooked till the last page.

We follow the adventures and death cheating missio

I literally have no words right now. This entire series 10 books is a lot of books but Summer Lane kept me hooked the entire way. I'm not putting any spoilers in here but HOLY CRAP! I'm so so so sad this is over. This book was the perfect ending to this story. The plot line the characters are absolutely amazing. I connected with all of them like no other book series I have ever read. I cannot say enough good things about this series other than you need to read it!

Super good

I have read so many of this kind of stories and of all the books I have to say this is my favorite one . It opens your eyes and heart to the truth and I'm right there. Kay read it again some day.

I hate the ending

I really thought we were going to figure out that she had died. The way the book ends with 2 impossible events, with the same back story, and the 1 event I saw commuting, it's just disappointing. I love a happily ever after but come on! Really! If you've read all the other books you might as well read this one but be aware. You too may hate how it's "wrapped up".

Perfect end to a perfect trilogy

Th story flowed from the last book easily. This author is descriptive without being overly so and that is a fine line that she doesn’t cross. The story is captivating and full of adventure, adrenaline was flowing as I lived the story. Great read.

Amazing! Awesomeread.

I began this series on the recommendation of my teenage son. I typically do not read stories that have, or could, mimic real life. This series had me captured from the first book. The character development was timed perfectly, as was the pace of the series. For anyone who likes romance, drama, intrigue, suspense, and more!

The best

This series is absolutely my most favorite book series. I just reread the series for the second time and I love watching Cassie grow from who she was before Omega to who she became after!

Surprising ending.

This has been one of the best post-apocalyptic series I have read and will definitely be re-read several times. However the editor needs to pay a lot more attention to correcting many errors in punctuation and spelling.
