This has some good advice—probably more generally useful, broader, and more concise than Resumes for Dummies, though obviously there's a lot of overlap.

The thing I really wonder about, though, is: Why are so many books about creating nice-looking job app documents so bland and boring-looking? This book really looks like a printout of a Word document, not a well-formatted published book. Excellent - as someone who is looking for ideas to improve her marketability, this book was quite helpful and straightforward, helping one to understand what is necessary to thrive in today's modern job search.

Shelves: unfinished
Very basic and obvious advice and even wrong for technical resumes, half of the book consists of resume examples.
