She was broken, disgraced and out of options. Going home to her small town was like a giant step backwards, but Dr. Shelby Wentworth needed time to re-group after a disastrous marriage, brutal divorce and the public humiliation of watching her career get flushed down the toilet. Going back to her roots isn’t part of her life plan, but a position at Sterling University was a gift from a friend and she knew it.

He was an NFL quarterback whose career and marriage ended in one devastating moment. Now

A light and heartwarming, easy-read childhood friends to lovers romance set in the college football world and a southern university small town.

Winning Dr. Wentworth is the second book in the Sterling University series. It worked fine as a standalone or out of order with the characters of book one getting an ongoing story thread that doesn't confuse or interfere with this new one.

Shelby Wentworth is a brilliant statistician, but she has come home with tail tucked thinking her life has hit an all-

Shelby Wentworth had come home to heal. The scandal at her previous job was more than she could handle. Of course, being home meant seeing old faces and old places. Shelby just needed time.
Nash is thrilled to learn Shelby is back home. He knew her presence would put him on edge, but it was worth it to have Shelby where he could keep an eye on her. Things get complicated quickly when old feelings resurface.

Ms. Heflin can put you right in Shelby's shoes. You feel everything Shelby does. Ms. He

Girl power! Dr. Shelby Wentworth is a statistician that is amazing with numbers, and she loves sports. It's so refreshing to see a woman in that type of position without being trumpeted "LOOK AT ME! I'm breaking gender stereotypes! You must be suitably impressed!" I loved this book even more than book 1. I can't wait to get my claws into #3. ...more

Returning home always seems like the answer to so many problems, but that's not always the case. When Dr Shelby Wentworth has burned out and put her broken heart on the back burner, she decides to go home. She's been through a bad divorce, her career is over an she hopes that back home she can start over. She has placed one rule to abide by, 'don't get your honey where you get your money'. Sounds like sound advice. But can Shelby abide by it. She was until.... she actually runs into
