It felt like it ended half way through the book.

The story was short and cute but the writing was HORRIBLE. The grammar was all over the place, incorrect words were used a lot, words were duplicated, words were missing. It needed an editor in a huge way. It honestly felt like it was written by someone who was still learning English (Good for you!! Not an easy language) but that they did not have the help needed. If this author is a native English speaker then the laziness of this writing is SHOCKING. It completely ruined the book, I will not read this author again.

I was really happy that I ended liking this book so much! It's Amy Brent's first mafia type of romance, and I thought it was very well done. Maddie and Hunter's one-night stand turned into so much more. She was supposed to be the target, but Hunter wasn't going to let her go. Lots of plot surprises that kept me guessing as well. And of course, it was steamy in Amy Brent's style. Great read, and I hope to see more of this subgenre! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Maddie is on her own after leaving Spencer. All she wants is the ring back. Then her life changes in one night for the rest of her life. A one night stand with a mysterious hunk and seeing her ex killed, can it get any worse. Maddie runs for her life only to meet up with her mystery man again. He's there to protect but she changes his life instead. Can they survive the hit to have a real life? Good book.

Wowsers! I couldn't believe the heat and passion between "Mr. Price" and Maddie. Then it got even better with all the craziness and suspenseful ness of the outside world around them! Hunter is a great male who has some crazy sex appeal and Maddie is the perfect other half!!

I really liked this book! Hunter and Maddie are Hot together. And who better to protect Maddie then the total bad a$$ Hunter! Another good book by Amy Brent. I recommend this book!

I liked parts of this book but other parts were too quick for my liking. I liked Maddie but when she went to meet her ex I was shouting at my kindle. I know she wanted the ring back but going to meet her abusive ex in a dark basement in a rough part of town?! STUPID IDEA! I liked Hunter but I didn’t feel much of a connection to him. Although he was in the story, this book was more Maddie’s story than his. I wanted more from Hunter. I liked that he was deliciously dark; he liked Maddie and was protective.
Just as I got fully into the story, it jumped. I wanted to know how Hunter got Maddie’s best friend to go with him back to his new home. The epilogue for this book is sweet and slightly heart warming. I was happy that Maddie and Hunter got an ending they deserved. Despite one or two jumps in the story, this book is easy to follow and a nice book to read in one sitting.
Hunter is a hit man that is preparing to take out his next victim. Whilst at the hotel he spots a beautiful woman and takes a risk. A risk of approaching her and being seen. Maddie is at the hotel preparing to meet her abusive ex, to get her grandmothers ring back. When a mysterious but handsome stranger approaches her she is intrigued. Even more intrigued when he hands her his room card and makes it known he wants a night with her. Taking a risk, Maddie heads up to his room. After a steamy night of passion both Maddie and Hunter never expect to see each other again. When Maddie’s ex sends her to a an address to meet him, she has a bad feeling something’s going to happen. When the meeting goes downhill, Maddie finds herself on the run in order to keep herself alive. When Hunter receives a picture of his next ‘’hit’’ he is shocked to see Maddie’s face. Soon he has a big decision; kill her or protect her. But will Maddie’s revelation change Hunters mind for the good or the bad?

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed the story of Maddie and Hunter who meet at a bar the night before Hunter, a hired gun is to do a job. Maddie is there to get her grandmother's ring back from her abusive ex; Spencer. Maddie is instantly attracted to Hunter and though she knows nothing about him decides to go to his room after lees her the card key to his room. They both know it is nothing but a one night stand. The next day both go there one ways after Maddie leaves in the night. Hunter goes after his target and Maddie agrees to meet Spencer after he finally contacts her. Things don't go so well for Maddie when she meets up with Spencer. She is witness to what happens to him and goes on the run. A month later Hunter is vacationing and decides to turn on his phone. He has a job offer and who is this new target? What has happened to Maddie and what secret does she have that Hunter is unaware of? Not one to give the story away you will have to find out by pricking up this great read. What happens when Hunter finds Maddie? will they get their HEA?

A very exciting, fun, suspenseful, hot, steamy hard to put down read. She goes after something from someone who is scum. An abusive ex and meets another man who is a one night stand. They part ways and she goes to her ex again and sees something that is a getting you killed for act and guess who is hired to kill her. I highly recommend this book. I loved and enjoyed reading it very much. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Maddie and Hunter may have started out as one night only, but it was so much more from the beginning. I absolutely loved this book. Spencer in my opinion was a creep. Maddie deserved so much more than he had to give. Loved the ending.

This is a hot read from Amy Brent. When Hunter meets Maddie she only knows him as Mr. Price, which is the name he chose for this latest job. Hunter is a hired gun for whoever pays him and when he shows up at the hotel she is at he gives her the night of her life, which is HOT! Maddie is there trying to get her ring back from her ex when she crosses paths with "Mr. Price," little do they realize at the time it won't be the only time they see each other. When Maddie is sent running for her life and pregnant to boot Hunter will appear again after he sees the hit taken out on her. The two will fight to survive and end up closer than either expected from the one night they thought would be all. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I don't care how many times I read a book by this author. She gets better with each book. Sometimes it takes the long way around but others this author gets right down to the grit just as she did within this story line. I loved it. Hotness in alpha not to mention the danger aspect it becomes a truly yummy delight for all of us to sink our hungry tongues into.

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. The more I read by Amy Brent the more that I love her work. I love this book. Especially Hunter. He is all that a sexy bad boy should be and he is dangerous to boot. They meet at the hotel bar for he and he does not sugar coat anything. He gets right to point about her coming back to his room. She thinks he is asleep when she tries to sneak out after their night together. He is there for a job anyway. She is there for a reason all her own. Which leads to her witnessing a crime and a hit is put out on her? So What will Hunter do be the outlaw or the hero?

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review. Outlaw's Baby is Amy Brent's newest book and it doesn't disappoint. I really enjoyed this book, Hunter and Maddie are a very adorable and likable couple. This is a story of the hit-man falling for his hit. This is a must read.

Great story and so hot.
This story is great, Hunter is a killing machine who only has one night stands, he never talks to them there is no need to even learn their name. Maddie has hooked up with him for one night, he told her at the start and didn't even ask her name, he didn't do talking there was no point getting into that. But she was different he knew she'd been hurt by her ex by the way she acted, but he couldn't get enough of her and he couldn't understand that feeling. He couldn't get tied down in his line of work, no one knew his name or where he was and that suited him fine, so he left the next day!
I loved this story because it was more than hot steamy reading page after page, it was a great storyline that grabbed my attention and had me hooked wanting to know more, what happened and how she was. I couldn't put it down, I loved the idea of a woman getting a bad boys attention when he was use to loving them and leaving them!
The added bonus is you get more books at the end of Outlaws baby and they are hot steamy and lots of fun to read, as with the first you get a storyline with them all, they are great erotic reads which are great when you want a pick me up or if you don't have loads of time for a long book, they are all short stories that grab your attention from the start, then you get to imagine what the hot guy looks like, you get a great description to help with that though!
I'd recommend this book to anyone that likes a quick steamy read that's worth reading because of the story rather than just a steamy read. Definitely 18+ though because of the content.

I swear Amy's books get better and better. I love quick hot reads. Who doesn't love a hot Alpha male and the danger that goes along with him. Makes sure you have extra batteries handy for this one

This book was great from start to finish....seriouly. The first chapter you find Hunter meeting Maddie at the hotel bar and gives her a key to his room for one night of naughtiness. This book was a fast paced book that was smokin hot. Another great job by Amy Brent!

Amy is an amazing author and this is another example of how good she is.
Maggie has a one night stand with a hitman but doesn't know who he is. The next night she watches as her ex is murdered but doesn't know who killed him and so she goes on the run. A month later she realizes she is pregnant. Hunter can't get her out of his mind and when he gets his next "job" a month later he realizes that Maggie is his target. He takes the job but not to kill her but to protect her. When he finds her and realizes he is not the only one after her the takes her to his safe place. Now he has to figure out how to keep them and the baby safe forever so he has to take out the ones who ordered the hit on her, which include CIA, FBI and police. Will he be able to do this job and make it back to her or will he be killed? Does he even want to go back to her and the baby considering what his life has been?
Makes you wonder what you would do in the same situation? Would you have gone to the police knowing that your ex had been paying them off to look the other way and possibly be accused of killing your ex? Would you stay with a man who was a hit man and killed people for a living even though he is the father of your baby?

Freshly out of an abusive relationship, Maddie wanted just one moment for herself to just feel and to take what he has to offer. Ohmigod...Amy Brent has a definite hit with Outlaw's Baby. I literally could not put this book down until I finished the entire book! It's truly an incredible read.
The storyline is brilliantly done; the characters--Hunter and Maddie--are well developed, and so believable. The emotional threads of this story are so well-crafted that their pain becomes your pain, their happiness becomes yours as well.

Amy Brent excelled at giving us a sexy, fast read, involving an Outlaw and his mark, and a secret baby!
Hunter being a hired killer, never leaves a trace when he takes out his marks. What's he to do with his new mark?
Maddie is young and was in an abusive relationship. Wgen she becomes Hunters mark will protect her or do what he ALWAYS does, take her out and leave no trace?

I have read a few books by this author and this is the first of a mafia theme that had me intrigued. Hunter Price is a contract killer for hire as he is unable to obtain legitimate employment. While working on his last hit, he meets Maddie Clark at the bar of the hotel where they are both staying. Maddie is recently out of an abusive relationship but her ex is still holding onto a prized heirloom that she wants back. Hunter invites Maddie to his penthouse suite for just a one night affair. Maddie agrees, they have an amazing night and then they go their separate ways. Maddie believes that she will never see him again but still thinks about him. Time passes and Hunter is offered a new job where he can earn five million dollars for taking out a mark. What will he do when he realizes that the person he is being hired to kill is Maddie? What will Hunter do when he finds out that Maddie is carrying his baby? Will he be able to kill her? This is one book you must read to find out….I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

This is Hunter and Maddie's story and I was drawn in from the first page. Maddie met Hunter when she went to a hotel to meet with her abusive ex. Hunter took one look at Maddie and had to have her. He invites her to his suite both knowing it would be a one night stand. Hunter and Maddie had great chemistry. Nothing is the same for either of them after that one night.

Another great read

Maddie witnesses her ex get killed and now a bounty is on her head. A text comes to him for the job paying 5 million. He realizes he slept with this woman and he wants her again. He takes the job but is torn on whether to kill her or not. He makes his choice and the reward is warranted. Loved the ending.
