My name is Zhara and my life is filled with drug lords, threats, lies, secrets, and kissing... It's making separating my real life with my undercover life complicated.
The Bad Boy Rebels series is a novella series that follows Zhara and six guys who are part of a secret detective program. It contains a lot of kissing, steamy scenes, with a bit of suspense, and mystery.
Jessica Sorensen is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author from the snowy mountains of Wyoming. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family.
5 hawt stars for all the gorgeous, interesting guys but 3 stars for the gullible heroine, weak premise, and plot holes. That said, Zhara is growing on me as she becomes more forthright but the premise behind the story is not believable and I'm consistently rolling my eyes at how she has to "prove" she's dating six guys. There is no credible reason for it or the fact that others are demanding proof. But, I really enjoy the detective agency side of it and the mystery is intriguing, and I'm one hundred percent invested now.
And that scene with Benton and Xavier was hot (even if ridiculous that they were asked to do it.) Hoping for steamier scenes as it progresses and I'm definitely loving the RH aspect.
Wish I knew when the next Zhara episode was out, but Jessica is very prolific and she releases quickly so I'm confident we won't have to wait too long. Usually, I'm not a fan of serials like this but I'm really enjoying this one (complaints aside.)
I just hate the concept and format of these novella books. Why can't everything just be in one book? I really like the story and where everything is going. It's just annoying to have to wait however long and only get to read another 130 pages or so of the story.
Fun short ya. But not much of a reverse harem. Short on romance. Hopen to red more hot and about the Guys and less action. First we have to go through another book with the sisser :( bleh....
I loved this book too! The plot twist at the end though, oh my gosh I don’t know whether I can handle not knowing when Zhara’s next book is. This book other than the cliffhanger was super good and I would totally recommend it!
Loving this series so far! But I'm so hating the wait for the next one! Such is life, I guess!!! But I'm so hooked on this series! Can't wait for the next and the next and the...well you get the picture!!!
I am completely addicted and completely frustrated with this series. Jessica Sorensen continues her reign as Queen of the serial. The evolution of Zhara continues, we get to know even more about the guys (yum!). I believe we actually may get more information in the continuing mystery in this installment, yet I am even more frustrated. I have no patience where good stories are involved! I want more now!!
I have no idea where any of this is going, who the "good" guys are and who the "bad" guys are or anyone's agenda for that matter, but I am totally enjoying the ride. I'm not sure how many installments will be in this series, especially now that they are alternating between Zhara's story and her sister's story. They seem to be releasing pretty quickly, so that's a plus.
You know how you buy a popcorn for the movies, but then don't even notice how it all ends up being eaten before the actual movie even begins? That's how it was with this series. Like a damn popcorn situation, I didn't even notice how I read them all.
The so called test in this book was pretty stupid, but whatever, I still like the general story and the way it progresses. I just wish the books weren't so damn short.
I have really enjoyed this whole series thus far.. but I'm wondering when book seven will come out and if it will be longer than the previous books. Can't wait to see what happens with Zhara and the guys and to see this story unfold.
I get to the end of every book in this series and I am not ready to let the story go. I am so hooked. I hope we don't have long to wait until the next installment.
Wow just wow. And of course when it starts to get really good then wait that's it. You have to read the next part to keep going. I'm really curious now to how this is all going to go, and still really wish this was just one big story.
