Disclaimer: This was my first ever Marathi novel and I can’t thank enough one my closest friend for the recommendation!

The minute I started reading the book, I couldn’t put it down. Every page is immersive and keeps you engaged with the story. The author has done an incredible job at drawing beautiful personalities of the characters. Highly recommended!

पुस्तकाचं मुखपृष्ठ बघूनच ठरवलं की हे घ्यायचंच. पुस्तकाचा नायक ‘लंगड्या पितांबर’, त्याची कहाणी लेखकाने साॅल्लीड रचलिये. पाना-पानाला हे पुस्तक पोट धरून हसवतं.. पुस्तक वाचता वाचताच समजतं की मुखपृष्ठ ह्या गोष्टीसाठी केवढं परफेक्ट चितारलंय. लेखक मोठे पत्रकार असल्याने सामाजिक, राजकीय जीवनातील अनेक भन्नाट गोष्टी त्यांनी मोठ्या खुबीने टिपल्या आहेत. Definitely it’s one of the best books I have read recently!

Really enjoyed One and Three Quarters! A seemingly light-hearted, fast-paced, and witty read that cleverly weaves in deeper social themes, the story revolves around a boy who, despite being academically weak, experiences an accidental discovery that becomes a turning point in his life. This unexpected event gives him the much-needed push to rise above his circumstances and opens new doors for him.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a read with layers of meaning beneath its playful surface!

हास्यातून राजकीय व्यवस्थेवर बोट

एका शाळेत जाणाऱ्या एका पायाने लंगडा असणाऱ्या अभ्यासामध्ये कमी पण आयुष्यातील गणिते सोडण्यात हुशार असणाऱ्या पितांबरची गोष्ट कशी त्याला लांगड्यापासून पितांबर जी बनवते त्याची ही गोष्ट.. प्रत्येक पानावर फुटणारे हास्याचे तुषार आपल्याला हे पुस्तक हातातून खाली ठेवायला देत नाही.. आजच्या सामाजिक आणि राजकीय वातावरणावर ब्लॅक कॉमेडी च्या माध्यमातून लेखकाने सुरेख भाष्य केले आहे.. पुस्तकाचे कव्हर गोष्टीला एकदम समर्पक..

Shrikant Bojewar is gifted author -you may have read his Articles in Maharashtra times with Name तंबी दुराई. You could guess the story but still its an interesting read. Go for it if you like black/slapstick comedy.
Book describes story of a lame and mediocre person and how he moves through the political ladder which sound usual but its authors skill which makes it interesting and keeps you turning the pages.
