I'm a huge fan of Jude Ouvrard. I simple love her books. Thus did not disappoint me at all. I fall in love with Gracie and Pulley. Gracie is quirky, clumsy, and snarky. From Gracie point of view Pulley is pushy, domineering, and bossy. Oh did I mention he's also her boss. What could happen when you buy a lotto ticket? This is a MUST READ! I was drawn into the story. Keep up the amazing work Jude!  Can't wait to read your next book.

Gracie needs to find herself, but honestly doesn't know where to start. She has a boss 'Pulley', aka Austin, aka. Oh yeah this is how she she's him, pushy, domineering, and bossy.

She parties hardy, constantly ruins her stockings, falls in her stilettos, let's face it she is a accident waiting to happen. Then one day all of a everything changes for her. Oh no she still ruins her silk stocking and falls in her s

Manda's 3.5 Star Review

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I liked the authors writing style and the direction the story took. I liked the characters as well although Gracie was a little over-dramatic for me. She was a bit prone to over reactions that at times could be entertaining but at others it kind of made it difficult for me to connect with her. In her defense there was a ton of things happening in her life that could overwhelm anyone so I do get it. All in all I

This book has been on my tbr for years, and I already owned the ebook before listening to it on audio. I'm not sure if I missed this is the blurb, but it doesn't seem like a romance until well past 60% into the story. And that is not in a slow burn way that some books are done, it's more of a coming into herself kind of story. And there is nothing wrong with that, it's just not what I was expecting or looking for. That initial 60% of the book is spent with the fmc mourning and still in love with ...more

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is well written and well told. Jude Ouvrard created interesting storylines that grabbed my attention right from the start and held it straight to the end. The characters are complex and well developed, they are realistic and easy to relate to. Gracie lost hard, and won big. I cannot even begin to imagine the rollercoaster of emotions that brings. But Jude Ouvard writes all of those emotions and struggles that helped me to imagine it. Austin was not a great boss, but when Gracie leaves, he has to have her back. THis push and pull creates an intriguing romance and I could not stop reading because I just had to know what was next. I really enjoyed the changes in Gracie's life that kept her true to herself and kept Austin chasing her. The ...more

This is a fun listen. Gracie and her best friend, had me laughing throughout this story. Gracie's boss was difficult, domineering and a perfectionist. When she had the surprise opportunity to quit, she did. When she went on a singles cruise, thats when things heated up for her. She met her match! This story had a few surprises.
Tia Johnson was great as a narrator. She brought this story to life. Giving all the emotions and voices to each character. Everything was great except the actual recording

I loved this story! The characters have a wonderful relationship with each other (Well all except for her boss). When that first kiss came?? Cue the tummy flutters..actually I think they arrived anytime they had scenes together after the accident. I really loved Austin. He became more human as the story progressed and I was pleased and surprised to see that happen to him.

This story was simply wonderful! The characters really had some growth to them.

This is the first book I've read from this author and I loved it. She made it so entertaining from the start that I couldn't stop until I finished.
I just fell in love with Gracie and her (ex) boss Pulley. And the nickname she gave him and the name he calls her fit too.
A definite read I've been telling my other friends about. Thank you Jude. I will for sure be checking out your other books.

This storyline had me laughing out loud at many points. The characters are well written and the humour is great. Tia gives a great performance. I can relate to the leading lady as she is clumsy and doesn’t think before she speaks!!
