I received this book for free through a complimentary Pressed Poet box. Pressed Poet is a poetry subscription box.

I liked this collection of poetry as a whole, but I didn’t like it as much as her other collection, Uncaged Wallflower. I related to that collection a whole lot more than this one. Uncaged Wallflower really spoke to me on a personal level. There weren’t as many poems in this collection that made me feel that way.

A must read for every single person

These poems are more than beautiful, more than amazing, more than wonderful; these pages are filled with truth!!

This is one of my all time favorite poetry books I've read this year. Jennae Cecelia knows how to write poetry. I've been reading a lot of poetry and her's has been standing out for me. One of my favorite lines are “She is already a river flooding with ideas.”, “fall seven times, get up eight” or “You are more than just one voice in

I finished this book in one sitting! This is my favorite of Jennae's 3 collections, and I know I will be re-reading it soon! All about empowerment and equality; it's a must read!

This poem starts off I Am More Than A Daydream by Jennae Cecelia, and instantly I knew I was going to love this poetry collection. For anyone who wants to read poems that are empowering and filled with nature, sun, and moon metaphors will love this collection. I highlighted more than half of this book on my kindle and know I will come back

I got this poetry book several months back from Amazon for free and I have just now got around to reading it. I don’t know what took me so long to get to it and I am kicking myself for waiting so long to read it because I loved it.

I finished this book in one sitting but like I do with every poetry book I read I wanted to read through it again before I posted my full review. This was my first Jennae Cecelia book and I definitely want to get my hands on her other books especially if they are

Jennae's Best

I have loved Jennae's work since her very first poetry book and this one doesn't disappoint! :) I feel so empowered and excited after finishing this. I really needed to read these poems at this specific time in my life and I just wanna say thank you to Jennae. Thank you for sharing your words with the world. You have encouraged and inspired me to continue to chase my dreams. Thank you for spreading such a beautiful and positive attitude throughout all your works. Your words have

I Am More Than a Daydream is a book filled with beautiful messages. It's what I loved the most about this poetry, it makes you think about certain aspects of life, about your thought patterns and your dreams and how far they are from reality. What's even nicer about it, is that this book makes you feel better about yourself. The poems are short and to the point and they all end with gorgeous advice. Most of them put a big smile on my face.

Jennae Cecelia has written gorgeous thought-provoking

If you are looking for poetry that is positive and inspiring, then this is the book you will want to pick up. Jennae writes about strength and adds themes of self-acceptance and self-love. I really enjoyed the body positive poems! And the artwork was great too!

Let me start off by saying that the cover is INSANELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
I've very much enjoyed Jennae's first two books, but this one, this one leaves me speechless. I felt emotional the whole time reading. This is a MUST buy.
Anyways I'll write a full review for tomorrow on my blog! Mckayladebonis.com

Reading through this very short collection, I am still amazed that poets have this ability to incite an emotion, or connect you so easily, with just a mere two or three sentences.
Actually, let that sink in for a moment. A novelist can build you a fantastical world, and make you believe in these magical characters and creatures, and take you away on these grand adventures......but it's done within the length of an entire book. Fifty THOUSAND or MORE words.

I am won over!

I read Jennae's first poetry anthology recently and although I enjoyed the read, i was not blown over by the style of her writing. This anthology however, HAS won me over. Before, i found myself identifying with Jennae's romantic side, and here I find myself identifying with her sense of self worth and her resistance to negative judgement from others. There is a great sense of a a 'message' to each poem with a self contained summary line at the end of each and this gives Jennae's

Stunning words

Beautiful words that some people need to hear. Stunningly beautiful and encouraging. This is not a book you read once it is a reference guide for the soul.

First off, I LOVE the cover. It's absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to take some shots of it for my Instagram.

This work is a collection of modern, positive poetry. I loved the formatting. It reminds me of Milk and Honey in the way it's written and of Shel Silverstein in format- the poems are generally short and sometimes a simple penned drawing is included on the page as well.

The parts that I liked: I loved that the book was split into two sections "All I Am" and "All I Can Be". I loved

this poetry collection may have been short, but it was an extremely empowering read. i love how much it stresses the importance of self love and finding your self worth despite the struggles you may face in life.

as someone who has been battling an eating disorder and body image issues for many many years, i just want to say THANK YOU, Jennae. I have been working through recovery for a long time now, and it's definitely not an easy fight, so it is always so nice to read things that both encourage

This is the first of Jennae's books I've read, but she's been on my radar for a while (I follow her on social media) and I'm glad I finally got around to reading a whole collection of her poetry.

I really liked this book, overall. I didn't love every poem in it, but I think I liked it enough to want to buy the physical edition (I have the Kindle edition), too. I'll definitely be buying her other books in paperback, now that I know I enjoy her writing. I think I have highlights and bookmarks on

I'll admit, I'm not usually one for inspirational stuff, let alone poetry, but this collection was truly amazing. I've read both of Jennae Cecelia's other books - Bright Minds Empty Souls and Uncaged Wallflower - and while I liked them, I didn't love them. I did, however, truly love this book. You can really see the growth in Jennae's writing and her poems are so beautiful and thoughtful. In every word, I could feel her passion and love for writing shine through, which made it all that more ...more

This is a light yet powerful read, it only takes one sitting to finish but the messages left behind are truly worth remembering. One can relate to it to a great extent, almost as if it was describing oneself. I will come back to reread this in the future.

I really enjoyed this poetry collection! I wish it was a little longer, but I definitely liked this collection more than Cecelia's other collection I've read, Uncaged Wallflower Extended Edition. I thought this was edited much better and that the poems were more fleshed out in general. I can't wait to see what else Cecelia comes out with!

Jennae leaves me speechless. You know all those times you've looked into the mirror and asked yourself ugly questions? You know all those times you've let your mind wander down dark paths and those times you've let the thoughts of others affect who you are and where you are? I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, and, so does Jennae. She gives you a pillow of kind and sweet thoughts to turn to, though. Instead of letting you sink into heavy things, she gives you wings and dreams, where you ...more

this is pretty much a weaker version of Rupi Kaur. I maybe enjoyed only two poems, and those are the following:

In the end,
we have only ever seen
our faces in
reflections and pictures.
Our true beauty is
a secret to us
and maybe that’s why we
are the last to believe in it.

- mirror, mirror, on the wall

Our moons were different
on the night of our births.
One just shy of being full,
the other barely a sliver
of a crescent.
Now I know why you made me whole.

- together we are the full moon
