This is what life was supposed to be like. It’s supposed to be a complete family, and I never knew the missing piece was in front of me my entire life.

Weston Parker could never have guessed how his life would change the day his daughter, Bryndle Cole, was born. He’s devoted the last ten years of his life being the best father he could be,

Worth the Ride is a very sweet small-town romance.

Weston's sole focus these past 10 years has been raising his daughter Bryndle, running his farm, and making the best life he can for the 2 of them, with help from his dad. Once Timber tornado blows back into town, though, he realizes there's been something missing in life. She was a fixture in childhood, the younger sister of his best friend, and back then he never thought of her as anything more than just a friend. But now that she's back i
Worth the Ride is my first book by the author, needless to say I've been missing out!
It didn't take long for this book to suck me in, by chapter three I was hooked and unable to put it down.
Weston is absolutely amazing. He's a great dad and an even better man. One who knows what he wants and goes for it.
Everything I loved about Weston is nothing compared to how much I loved Timber. Strong, independent and takes no crap. She's the female lead I wish I found in more books.

Worth The Ride was fun romance. It's the story of Weston and Timber. It breaks your heart, then pieces is back together. At the same time, it's not super angsty and has comedic
relief to keep it from getting there.

Timber is a headstrong character. I had difficultly enjoying her at first, but it quickly passed. Recently having returned to town, she's tough, a hard worker, and is fun and sassy. I loved watching her bond with Weston's daughter. Bryndle was my favorite, a vivacious little girl, who

This was so worth the reading. I enjoyed it and want a followup book.
The story starts out with "10 years ago" and Weston is married to Hannah, because of the results of a drunken one night stand. She goes into labor, gives birth to their daughter and then dies, leaving Weston to raise their baby on his own. Which he embraces wholeheartedly. Running the peach farm and raising his daughter, with the help of his father.

This is the first story I read from this author and I can’t wait to read more. The story has laughs, sweet love, and heartbreak.

This is Timber and Weston’s story. Weston is a single father to a 10-year-old daughter that he loves and would do anything for. Weston is happy with just the two of them. When his sister’s best friend moves back to town he notices she is beautiful. Timber was not ready to move back home. But taking over her father’s veterinary practice is what she is doing. When

This is my first time reading this author. She does a great job painting the setting for the small town the story takes place in. The main characters have a history but have not seen each other for a number of years.

Weston and Timber grew up almost as siblings. But time has passed and Weston may finally be feeling the cold ice around his heart break as he starts spending time with Timber again.

I love single parent romances so this one hits that mark for me. The main characters are good friends

I've only read ONE Casey Peeler book so far that I LOVED. Once knowing this one had a SINGLE DAD, I was REALLY looking forward to reading Worth the Ride. It started off strong, but unfortunately it fell flat for me. I found myself skimming quite a bit. The only parts that held my attention was whenever Bryndle was in the scene. Another thing that I liked was the epilogue. It was absolutely AMAZING and a PERFECT way to end the story. ...more

I was given Worth the Ride as an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review. Worth the Ride starts out with a great premise for a romance and great potential for its characters. Unfortunately it fails to deliver on the promise of what it could have been. The idea of insta-love between childhood friends now all grown up is one that works well as does the Hero falling for his best friend’s little sister. What does not work in this book is the lack of any challenges, issues, tension, or antagonists. Th ...more

Worth the ride was a very quick, sweet romance read. It’s my first read by Casey Peeler.

Weston Parker had hopes and dreams. Those dreams changed in a moment; with one breath. Now he has only one priority. Raising his precious little girl and being the best damn daddy he can be. But his little girl, isn’t so little anymore. At ten, his daughter is growing up way too fast, and Weston soon finds himself in over his head. Not only is he not good with the girly-girl stuff, but he’s also seen

I am so honored to be able to review one of Casey Peeler's novels. I have not been able to read one of her books yet, but they are sitting on my ever-growing to be read list. I am a sucker for a good-looking country boy so this book was right up my alley. There are few things that I would have preferred Peeler to give us more detail, but that is small compared to the amazing journey we are taken on with these char

Casey Peeler brings it again with Worth the Ride. Being a southern girl myself I always enjoy Caseys southern stories. Worth the Ride brings everything you expect from the south from fishing, farms, and mud; to cowboys, southern draw, and Maw and Paw's. I adored all the characters Casey introduced in this novel. They were all developed nicely and quick to steal your heart. I did feel at times the book was rushed. I found myself wanting more depth and insight into Hannah's death. It was minor det ...more

I have not been fortunate enough to have read this author before. I’m glad I got to read this one. It was fun and sassy and everything all rolled into a sweet ball. There was cuteness, sexiness and a good old fashioned country boy peach farmer. This is one of those feel-good stories that just has all the right elements. The pace and writing are great. I felt like I was right there.

Now we have Weston a single father to Bryndle. She is the sassiest ten-year-old I have ever read. Her daddy does no

Worth The Ride is a sweet romance read. It's a fast past/insta-love read all tied up in a pretty ribbon. There's no angst a little sadness but overall a sweet read.

Weston and Timber grew up together in a small town and were friends with each other until Timber went away to college and Weston became a single father. When she return's home after being away for years she's met with the all male all grown and very masculine Weston. The tomboy Timber has grown into a stunning beautiful woman and

Weston Parker had his life changed over 10 years when a drunken night leads to Hannah Cole getting pregnant and then giving birth to Bryndle. But now the single father has focused his own life on raising Bryndle and staying away from the rodeo that he loved so much.

Timber Sellers and her brother Forrest were best friends with Weston while they were growing up but Timber left to become a veterinarian. Now she is back to take over her father's practice and figure out what she wants to do next.

Worth the Ride was a quick read, bringing a friends to lovers story and a happy ending for a single father and his daughter.

Weston has spent the last ten years doing all he can to make life better for his daughter, even if it meant giving up on some of his dreams. As a single father he often takes over-protective to new levels, but he also knows what is at stake. With his daughter growing up and changing, Weston knows she needs a woman in his life, but he's not all about chasing the ladies, tha

Worth the Ride is what you've come to know and expect Casey Peeler's southern storytelling. From maws and paws to mud filled truck tires to swooney country cowboys, Peeler's Worth the Ride takes you to small town living where dreams can still be made.
Peeler's story of a young man stepping up to raise his daughter completely grabbed up my attention. In a matter of minutes I was invested into Weston and Bryndle's life and where it would lead. The bond between father and child captured m

Not A Little Girl Anymore

My review title describes this book in more ways than one.

Weston becomes a single dad at a young age and swears off woman because of it. Though all through his childhood his group of friends have always included his guy friends and Timber, who was always "just one of the guys" - total tom boy. Weston never gives her a second thought while he was growing up and still didn't until Timber comes home from the city after going away to college for a few years to become a vet.

This was definitely an adorable little book. Weston’s daughter stole the show that’s for sure, but Timber was a spitfire all on her own.

Timber grew up being one of the boys, but now she is back several years later to take over the family business and she is all grown up. She still loves showing up the boys, but now she is all girl. When Timber sees Weston with his daughter, she starts to realize how much he has changed, and she starts to look at him in a different light. She also falls head

I’ve only read one other book by Casey Peeler and the when I read the description of Worth the Ride, I had no doubt it would be good. I love Ms. Peeler’s writing as she describes the scenery, food and each of the southern characters, and their names are perfect! The depth she goes into is what really makes the story complete.

Worth the Ride was definitely worth the read. I highly recommend this read.

You start out learning why Weston is so stuck in his ways and the decisions he had to make a young age that changed his life forever. Weston was a rodeo Bronco rider, but a night of fun turned out to change what he thought his life would be and where it was going. Fast-forward 10 years you see the man he is now and the sacrifices that were made for the better.

I love a good "cowboy" romance and the fact that it's a single dad one aswell made me eager to read this.

Weston is a single dad to 10 year old Bryndle, and dealing with her inevitably growing up. It's nice to see the struggles of parenthood instead of making everything seem so happy and easy, because as all parents know it's not easy, and smooth sailing all of the time.

I hate to leave reviews like this because I know the heart and effort that goes into writing a book, but unfortunately this one fell flat for me. The book felt forced in many ways, and I believe that it is because of the quick pace of the story, the lack of any angst or trials for the characters outside of the first few pages, and the contrived "country talk". It all gave it more of a fairytale vibe than a relatable one. It was almost as if this book was written by someone who has little
