Aiden Kelley’s life is turned upside down when he discovers a fling from 10 years ago had his baby. He is an uber success driven CEO with an amazing secretary, Chelsea, that is just as devoted to the companies success.

Chelsea has been crushing on her boss, it seems like forever. She has decided to give her 2 weeks and make a clean break just when her boss, Aiden, asks her to come along on a “family” trip to the Grand Canyon with his new found teen daughter. Chelsea immediately connects to Aiden’

Why did I read this? I was looking for a fluffy, contemporary palette cleanser and this seemed like it might be fun. But it wasn't so much. It was more annoying than fun. The 10 year old is the character with the most emotional maturity in this book. (Her mother is also awesome. I would read a book with her as the heroine.) The back and forth of the two main characters (particularly the hero) gave me whiplash. They change their minds to extremes often and their actions don't ever match

Did you love Camden James in The Penthouse Prince?
This is the long awaited next book in that series!! I'm so excited to share this book with you!
Lets start off by saying the is a brand new author for us and
we loved our first read by them.

Chelsea was my favorite this time around as she was confident, had a backbone was witty, kind, smart, sexy and just so full off life.

Aiden well he was sexy, smart, controlling egotistical, vain at times and had a dominating personality who always needed to be in control. All those things yet Aiden loved with his whole heart once it was given both to his daughter and Chelsea.

Aiden has always secretly harbored fe
CEO Aiden Kelley has become bored with his playboy life but he wouldn't admit that to anyone. However he did not plan that the announcement he is a dad to a ten year old girl will be what shakes things up. Aiden wants to get to know his daughter and when he is told to take her to the Grand Canyon he decides he needs his assistant Chelsea Houston in tow.

Chelsea has quit her job more times than she can count but each time Aiden talks her into returning. Now he wants her to help with his daughter W

What a wonderful book! I was completely engaged by Aiden and Chelsea's story and loved how it unfolded. Chelsea has a bit of a crush on her boss, Aiden, a control freak billionaire. She's never let him know about it or acted on it in any way. However, circumstances create an arena where she feels safe to kiss him, then to have him respond and sweep her off to bed.

What good would a romance be without a bit of angst? When the terrible thing happens, Aiden turns cold and totally shuts her out. He'

The Irish Prince is a sweet and slightly sexy romance read with beautifully charming characters that capture your attention from page 1 until the last page.
Aiden Kelley is a self-made man who is now a billionaire from humble Irish roots and a self-confirmed bachelor. Chelsea, is his assistant who keeps him grounded and looks out for him. Suddenly an ex-lover dies and leaves him her their daughter, advising him that he is the child’s father and leaves him custody of a daughter he didn’t know exi

A short and easy contemporary romance...

Let's keep this short, sweet and to the freaking point. I opted to review Virginia Nelson's The Irish Prince because I loved the blurb. The cover, on the other hand, well, quite frankly it was pure shite! I've come across some other books with exactly the same cover... different dude on it though. It's just lacklustre, and sadly for me it set the tone to the actual book. Please let me emphasise that I LOVED the blurb. But, the reality is that the story lac

This book was a slow building of chemistry with a sweet ending. I liked that the two-main character had known each other for years and once they realize their attraction to each other is was a true building of a relationship. Waverly (Aiden’s 10-year-old daughter) is an absolutely hoot and I think a stand out character in this book. Chelsea Houston is your girl next door take charge executive assistant but also deals with insecurities. Aiden Kelley is the CEO who came from humble begi

Funny, smart, and loveable!

After years of being a voice in his ear Aiden Kelly's administrative assistant, Chelsea, has turned in her notice.... Again!

It's the same time that he finds out about a huge surprise ten years in the making.

The characters in this book are funny and smart. The humor that Chelsea and Waverly and Kimmy all have will make you laugh out loud. Not to mention Camden and his wife.

You'll enjoy reading this romantic comedy. I did.

This was very cute. I loved his daughter, a spitfire for sure. I would say much dirtier then the first book but still an all around easy read. I also liked that we got to see Camden and Janie again and see more of their life. Not sure if there is another book for someone else but I'm sure it would be just as good

This is the first book I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. I thought it had the perfect mix of sweet, emotional and feisty moments. Both characters were strong and at times stubborn. It was fun to watch Aiden's carefully controlled life change on a dime and then watch him as he fell in love both with his daughter and Chelsea. I enjoyed Waverly. She provided the story with some moments of wit, humor and typically ten year old thinking. While the premise of the story (billionaire dating h ...more

I just finished this book after picking it up two hours ago. I laughed and I cried.

Virginia Nelson, once again, has brought her characters into physical beings through the words she puts out onto a page. She has poured her heart out through another sweet Prince novel and managed to give me faith that there is somebody out there for everyone - and they're probably right in front of you. The Billionaire Dynasties is beyond worthy of picking up if you're looking for something steamy, or even just

The Irish Prince just didn't do it for me, unfortunately. It was kind of boring and slow paced and nothing really happened until about 60% into the story. Chelsea is Aiden's long suffering Executive Assistant and has decided, finally! to quit her job with the man who absolutely drives her crazy. But, right as she tells him, he gets a bomb dropped in his lap - a woman he had been with briefly years ago, stops by his office to let him know they have a 10 year old daughter together and that she wan ...more

The Irish Prince had a lot of elements that I love in romance: and Alpha billionaire, a feisty heroine, a boss/office romance, and a single parent situation. Chelsea is Aiden's long-suffering assistant and we begin the book with her attempting to turn in her two week notice for the umpteenth time - this time it's because she found a woman's underclothes draped over the chair in her office (again!). Just as she submits her resignation, Aiden fin

Usually, I don't pick a book up that is in the middle of a series unless I've read the books that come prior to it. But something about this one just screamed at me and I knew that I just needed to give it a shot even though I knew absolutely nothing about this author. I'm glad that I did. It was a sweet book that I totally blew through.

The book was really endearing. I tend to shy away from books that involve characters that have kids. Probably because I have two boys and I don't want to read a

Chelsea had tried four times in the last month to submit her letter of resignation but then her boss Aidan reminded Chelsea that she was under contract. The man drove her crazy, had been driving her crazy for years. Every time Chelsea quit Aidan somehow managed to get her to take back her resignation and had convinced her to stay. But Chelsea was determined to quit this time no matter what Aidan Kelly said or did. Aidan just found out he had a ten year old daughter - Waverly- by a model Margo he ...more

Aiden Kelley is a control freak extraordinaire, which serves him well as the billionaire CEO of his company, but makes it hard to be around him, especially his assistant. His well ordered life is turned upside down when an ex shows up with his 10 year old daughter, of which he had no clue about. It upsets his structured applecart, but that doesn't stop him from wanting to get to know his daughter. I really enjoyed Virginia Nelson’s The Irish Prince. It is sweet, funny and a little spicy, and I am looking forward to reading more by Ms. Nelson. Chelsea Houston has been Aiden Kelley’s executive assistant for years and has tried to quit several times, but he's always convinced her to stay. He’s a controlling and demanding boss, and he drives her crazy. After she finds a bra in her office—he’s a playboy too—she submits her resignation and is swears this is it.

What a brilliant story to indulge yourself in! Take a billionaire who is used to his life running smoothly, have an ex show up with his ten year old child and have his executive assistant, Chelsea Houston, trying to hand in her notice! Nothing seems to be going right for the usually super controlling Aiden Kelley! He has no idea how to relate to his daughter, the existence of whom he was previously unaware, but he does want to get to know her. He decides to go on a road trip . . . . but he insis ...more

This was my first read by the author, Virginia Nelson, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I want to see what else she may have written and read those.

This story follows Chelsea Houston, who is assistant to CEO Aiden Kelley and ready to quit when the story begins. She is tired of her boss’s antics and feeling under appreciated. Then something throw a loop in Aiden’s life and he realizes that he can’t let his trusty assistant quit when he needs her most. Together on a trip across across the country they

Being the first piece of work I have read by Virginia Nelson, I was not sure what to expect. As I've said before, I'm not a third person POV type of reader. However, in this book, it worked, the writing was fantastic.

I love that there is something new to catch your attention in each chapter. Not always major events, but enough to make you not want to put the book down. This is what happened to me. I started reading, and all of a sudden, I was done!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say - I enjoyed it. What I didn't realize when I signed up to read/review this book was that it's part of a series. In any case, I will have to go back and read the first book of this series.

I understand the nuances of OCD disorder (as I myself suffer from them) and this book perfectly portrayed the complexities of the condition. I do have to admit that it was fun to watch Aiden's carefully constructed and con

Aiden's character was not fleshed out well. Except for two references* in the book there was nothing to tell the readers why Aiden fell in love with Chelsea. Cimax was disappointing but cant really fault that since I never really felt that he loved her. It was more like he was used to her.

I received this ARC copy of this book from NetGallery for an honest review. I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Aiden and Chelsea was well written and starts with Aiden not noticing Chelsea and Chelsea having a crush on Aiden. Chelsea is unhappy with the work conditions and puts is her resignation. On the same day Aiden learns he is a father of a ten year old. Aiden, Chelsea and Waverley go on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. This was a great read.

Virginia Nelson believed them when they said, “Write what you know.” Small town girl writing small town romance, her characters are as full of flaws, misunderstandings, and flat out mistakes as Virginia herself. When she’s not writing or plotting to take over the world, she likes to hang out with the greatest kids in history, play in the mud, drive far too fast, and scream at inanimate objects. Vi ...more
