This was a awesome book! I would definitely get this book for my young nieces and nephews. The author is a new author to me and I really enjoyed her work. She told a story that kids could learn from and also enjoy.
How would you handle being a kid and the principle of the school you went to? Yes, the principle! Oliver Kidd went to school here and over the summer he went to college and got his degree and was hired as principle. The kids at the school wasn't sure how to react to this, but the vi

Fun illustrations and a very relatable story to kids. What 5th grader who was recently named principal wouldn't install rules that kids would love: gum chewing, longer recess and running in the hall?! Out of the box thinking and problem solving foil the bullies - perfect! ...more

On top of that, he’s been told that as principal, he couldn’t associate with the students, his friends, outside school.

Even for a genius like Oliver Kidd, being an 11-year old principal in your hometown school is a tough job. But Oliver jumps in - actually he pedals in on his bike - making changes and learning lessons along the way. It's not like he's alone in this. His friends are there for him. And Chelsea the Chicken is by his side. And of course he has a vice principal beside him all the way, which would be a good thing, except the VP, Mr. Dagger wants Oliver's job! This is a laugh out loud story that will m ...more

This is the cutest story I had ever read. Brings me back to elementary years. Wish we had Kid Principal in our school. Read the story to my young nieces who just started school, they were laughing and enjoyed the story. Great story for young readers. Highly recommended. Loved the characters. Looking forward to read more of the gang.
