Forbidden to Tell by Shannon Spruill tells the story of a woman, Roxanne who loves and adores her husband but there is one minor problem, he is a stranger to her in their bedroom. Tired of being haunted by her past, she struggles to let the truth set her free and live the life she truly deserves.
The title serves as a prelude to the subject matter as you see the main character struggle with her troubled past. Although she was grown and married, the scars and residue still resided with her making it hard for her to have a complete life. Even with a devoted spouse who would do anything for her she still struggles. The level of suspense is good that definitely keeps you wondering and waiting to see what Roxanne is going to do.
Kudos to the author who wrote the scenes very well to where it felt as if you the reader was right there living with the character. Forbidden To Tell is full of intrigue and suspense and a 5 star read. I look forward to reading more from this author.

A well written story that will keep you intrigued from the very first page. The characters grab you and give you an emotional war. Love the great writing and would recommend this novel to everyone.
