Ever read a book and the whole time you're like "she's not good enough for him!!"?

That was me reading this one. I've not really liked Sasha in the previous books and unfortunately in this book my thoughts were confirmed. She's a spoilt rich girl with a chip on her shoulder who spends so much time being cruel to the H for "reasons" which to be honest were ridiculous and such a rich person problem.
Tate on the other hand was such a babe, I absolutely loved him, he knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to go for it. I loved reading about his hockey life and his friends who Sasha cruelly at one point tells him are losers and only with him because they can't get real jobs. She never apologises for that and it was just so ridiculously mean.
The kink in this book was pretty light but the sex scenes were still really 🔥🔥🔥🔥
If Sasha hadn't been such a self involved shrew this book would have been fantastic but she was such a horrible person.
So I dunno, this book was 5 stars for Tate, 4 for the sex and 1 for Sasha... soooo I'm gonna be generous with 3 stars

4.5* almost perfect STARS!!
Can I say... THIS IS MY FAVORITE STORY IN THE ENTIRE SERIES!!
Sasha is Elle's best friend (Prime Minister) who is already caught my attention since the first book. And came Tate (I'm forget which book, LOL!), a famous hockey player also manwhore. I'm not really into sports romance but this one is totally different. It isn't heavy on the sports side (that sometimes I skipped because I don't understand *oops*) but still bearable. I'm no Tate's fan at first because his manwhore vibe.
But... Sasha kinda changed Tate. She's a feisty and smart independent woman. But Sasha also has problem with famous person because of her past. That's why she kinda rejected Tate's offer after their first one night stand. Anyway, I liked Sasha so much! She's kinda like a porcupine. Tough outside, gooey inside.
I usually didn't like pushy man but Tate feels different. He's kinda fun and flirty man. Tate couldn't forget Sasha so he insisted with friends with benefits. Maybe I liked his determination that much? Tate also fully attentive to Sasha with every her demands and I think they're so perfect together.
I loved how Tate take control in bedroom. Their sex has a bit kinky vibe but not into BDSM. He's no dominant but considered as a top. Tate is a playful player. They have voyeur fetish and I really liked it. Very dirty and naughty.
Overall, I really enjoyed their chemistry. Tate swooned me every time he did something to wooed Sasha. I feel jealous. Hmph. However, their problem seems predictable and it should be. Sasha has issues that she needs to calm herself. Away from the past. In the end, they're really together without secrets.

low angst - high heat
This was a nice 4 star addition to the Frisky Beavers, and after book 1, my favorite.
I really like how each book in the series explores a different kink. This installment had Sasha and Tate diving into voyeurism, plus a bit of what's described as 'primal kink' (chase, subdue, restrain, etc ;) The sex was hot!, hot!, hot! and definitely the best part of the story.
While the way the plot unfolded in this completely non-dramatic way drove me a little crazy, I really liked the uber-romantic ending.
Note: I wouldn't try to start this series anywhere but at the beginning. You're in luck though, because book 1, Prime Minister, is an amazing 5-star read!

I wasn't overcome with the story...it got a bit tedious with Sasha and her reluctance to commit to a relationship with Tate.
I didn't understand the need for sex club as apparently Sasha wasn't all that into it. They could of stayed home and watched porn. Their own intimate moments in private were hot enough. Forcing the sex clubs?? into the plot??
The story was written with Canadian references and I enjoyed that. It seemed to be authentic.
I loved the cover model, very much Tate.

This is my 2nd athlete in two consecutive day.. I just finished On a Tuesday by Whitney G where the H is a professional football player then I started right away with Mr.Hat trick well Mr. Tate Nilsson is very Hotttt indeed he can melt the ice with his hotness...I am a fan of the series I read the first two books and skip the 3rd because I am not fan of threesome even if one of them in Lachlan the main body guard of the PM.. anyway the frisky beavers are set in Canada and they are a group of elite and successful people who are part of a secret and exclusive BDSM Club.. Tate Nilsson is the Captain of the Ottawa Senators and Sasha is the fierce and independent best friend of the first lady. She is studying for her doctorate and she does not date successful, popular athletes until that one day where he accidentally saw Tate and he mentioned that he was traded to play for Vancouver Lumberjacks.. he was depressed and she tried to comfort her which leads to an unforgettable 1 night stand..Tate is so patient and loving and there are moments where I want to shake Sasha and asked her to please open her eyes well eventually she did.. the scenes in the Clubs are hotttttt... I just dont understand the relationship between sasha and her father.... but all in all I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all..

I fell in love with Gavin and Elle, the couple that launched the Frisky Beavers series. Max and Violet, Beth & Lachlan & Hugh, I loved the series more. Could it get better, why yes it could: Tate and Sasha!

I love, love, love, these authors. These books have some serious kink in them. They are hot and sexy. But they are also explorations of emotion. The characters are deep and rich, while they are stubborn, silly, funny, and occasionally so oblivious that you want to shout loudly at them. But that's the point isn't it? You don't want to argue with a character who is flat, who stays on the pages of the book. You only want to cheer one on that lives in your mind. That's the magic that these authors put together. OMG...I LOVED Tate's story!!! Tate is a smoking hot sexy, and he knows it, hockey player. Sasha gives into her attraction to Tate one night and they can't get each other out of their systems no matter how hard they try. On the day Tate finds out he has been traded he runs into Sasha, who decodes she needs just one more night of Tate to get him out of her system. Thankfully that doesn't work!!! While the other Frisky Beavers make appearances this is Tate and Sasha's story, and oh what a hot one it is!!! This is full of witty banter, hockey and tons of smoking hot passion between the super sexy couple! I couldn't put it down once I started so just one click it now!!!

Loved Tate and Sasha's journey. Their story took me a little bit to get into it. Once I connected, I couldn't put it down. I'm not a hockey fan as I know nothing about it. That doesn't matter at all. It's steamy, Sasha is frustrating at times and I loved the roller coaster I was on. One of my favourite series.

Another fabulous read!!!
Once again I am in love with a Frisky Beavers book. I've loved every one of them so far. Sasha and Tate are so good together and the sizzling sex scenes are to die for.
I loved the play by play hockey games, not something I would imagine is easy to do. It just made the story more real with the team moving from location to location. The building of a team was an integral part of the book and it was interesting and exciting.
I also loved what was building between Sasha and Tate too. I loved their story so much and hated for it to end. Thanks so much Ainsley and Sadie for another wonderful story.

4- 4.25 stars. This was another good addition to this fun, sexy series! This is Sasha and Tate's story. Sasha is best friends with Ellie, who is married to Gavin, who is best friends with Tate. Being in the same group of friends, they are around each other a lot. Sasha and Tate have been attracted to each other for awhile. They finally decide to act on their feelings of attraction, and they plan on it only being a one time thing. But they find that they really like each other and they start spending more time together. They both have a lot going on though, with Sasha running a business and finishing up school and Tate is playing professional hockey after being transferred to a new team away from his friends and family. And Sasha has some relationship and family baggage from the past to overcome before she can have a relationship with Tate. But he is persuasive and they are able to work it all out between them to get the HEA they deserve.
I liked both Sasha and Tate. They were both great characters and they were perfect together. Tate knew what he wanted with Sasha, but for the first half of the book, Sasha was a little frustrating in her pushing away and treating him like she only cared about him for sex. But soon she came around and stopped fighting her feelings for Tate. Sasha was a strong, independent woman and it was an adjustment for her to realize she needed and cared about Tate. What starts out as frienemies with benefits morphs into one of the sexiest stories I've read in a while. Sasha is a woman on a mission of completing her Ph.D while trying with all her might to break away from a demanding father. It's taken her quite a while to reach this point, as she'd had to start over already because of a previous, very public affair with an athlete. Tate is a player. He's also the recently traded captain of his hockey team, a devastating blow to his ego. What starts out as pity sex turns into a very complex and steamy affair.
But is it love, or lust? It doesn't take long for Tate to recognize the answer to that question, but he also learns that his interest in kink is also stimulating to Sasha. What unfolds is their journey of exploring the depth of the kinkiness they each desire, as well as the depth of the relationship... across the miles. Hot, steamy scenes, depth of emotions, trust issues, galore. This was a seriously good read with mouth watering kisses that went from zero to kisses-that-taste-like-cock-sixty in a heartbeat, and just continued to speed along that freeway at an astounding pace.

I LOVE the Frisky Beavers Series! Mister Hat Trick is about Tate a hockey player, friend of the prime minister and into kink. Sasha is a sassy, independent, smart, wealthy woman and best friends to Ellie (the prime minister's wife). Tate seems like quite the player but as you get to know him, you realize that he's a lovable, sweet guy.
When you first meet the two of them in this book, Tate is swarmed by fan girls when Sasha walks in. Tate tells her he got traded and she immediately wants to help him and make him feel better. The chemistry is swirling around them and they agree to one night. One explosive night. He wants more but she doesn't do relationships, especially public ones.
Their journey is so sweet and loving, full of caring and tenderness and lots of HEAT! (I love the hat trick in this book)! Tate isn't what you expect at all and has such patience with Sasha. Sasha also has so many depths to her and it's fun to uncover her layers and even better watching her explore the BDSM lifestyle. The only thing I was sad about was when the book ended. I was totatlly sucked into their lives, I didn't want it to stop. I just wanted to watch them and their next steps.

When you first meet the two of them in this book, Tate is swarmed by fan girls when Sasha walks in. Tate tells her he got traded and she immediately wants to help him and make him feel better. The chemistry is swirling around them and they agree to one night. One explosive night. He wants more but she doesn't do relationships, especially public ones.

Think this is my fav book of the series!! we met sasha a while back as Elle's bff. she is also a PhD student working on her dissertation. we then meet kinky nhl-er Tate who just found out he got traded to the west coast. the first person he tells is sasha. he wants her and has from the moment he met her. sasha feels bad for the guy getting traded and offers one afternoon. Tate jumps at the chance to be with her. fastforward a few.months and Tate is now in vancity and doesn't know what to make of it. he has texted sasha with no response...go figure. sasha watches tates games and can't forget their night together. Tate shows up at sasha place with a proposition bit she turns him down. but low and behold they wind up at max's new "club". both come to an agreement that's it's just sex and secret.. .they can live with that...but can they? will sasha tell Tate the truth of her "I date no athletes" will Tate get what he really wants from sasha?

Sasha doesn’t like Tate but that doesn’t mean she can resist spending some very personal time with him. However the relationship between Sasha and Tate slowly starts to change as they start to get to know each other better.
Tate is busy with his hockey career, playing for a new team since he was recently traded. Tate is busy trying to prove himself to his new team, fighting for the championships. But his feelings for Sasha continues to grow. But she wants to keep their relationship a secret due to a past relationship that was also in the spotlight.
I really liked getting to catch up with all the past characters as well and seeing what they’re up to. I will be interested to see Jack’s story next.

A narrativa é muito boa, o livro é leve, de leitura facil e com enredo muito bom A(OC). conta a historia de Sasha ( a melhor amiga da ellie) e do tate ( jogador de hockey). Ele acaba de ser negociado para um time da costa leste no qual passa boa parte do livro tentando se adaptar e ela continua morando em otawa. Eles tem uma noite juntos quando ela descobre que ele vai ser transferido e acaba aceitando ficar com ele por uma noite. E daí se desenrola. Ela está terminando o doutorado e é sócia oculta de empresas é de uma família rica que quer que ela assuma os negócios da familia. Além disso, após escândalos com o nome dela ela acaba sendo contra aparições públicas e se envolver com pessoas públicas e esportista. Tema: BDSM, voyeur, hockey

Sasha hates publicity (via a bad experience with an ex) & her father is being nasty. But Tate is very committed to her & very patient.
