This is the first book I have read by Ms. LeBoeuf and I loved it!

I cried from the first page to the very last page! The tears fell from joy, happiness, sorrow and heartbreak, this book has all the feels!

Everyone needs their lobster and Emma just can’t seem to find hers. Ryan (the love of her life) disappeared seven years ago without so much as a word to Emma and she then surrounded her heart by a thick wall. Due to some really “bad boyfriends” and what transpired through their relationships, Em

I was lucky enough to win the first 3 books in this series in a competition for which I am very grateful. My review is my own opinion and in no way influenced on how I got the books.
I love books that contain deep emotions, ones that as you are reading they hook you in until you are completely entrenched in what's happening and how they are feeling in the story. To the point that you feel these emotions, you get a lump in your throat and a few tears in your eyes. The angst and pain take you back

PSA: To get the most enjoyment of Letting Love Go, I suggest reading “Pieces of Us”. It’s a short read, but it sets the foundation for the Damaged Heart Series. (currently free on Amazon!) With that said:
Emma is the epitome of a damaged heart. This is a case where you ask yourself, how much can one heart handle. She lost her father; her strength, her sounding board, her sense of reason. And she lost her boyfriend, the love of her life. Then there’s more heartbreak and betrayal that she just does

How to avoid spoilers??? I don't know! I gotta be honest here. I lost my dad a few years ago and this book ripped the heart right out of me all over again. This character is someone you identify with instantly. I love books where the character's emotions drive the story as much or more than the external events and this is one. I was wrapped up and taken for an emotional ride from the word go. The writing is sincere and smart. for all that the main characters are self protective because of emotio ...more

Bad luck seems to follow Emma everywhere she goes. Until She met Justin but, is he too good to be true? You'll have to read Letting Love Go to find out for yourself.

I enjoyed Letting Love Go so much. There were a couple of times that I had to unwillingly put it down though. Some parts were just so overwhelmingly emotional that I had to regroup before continuing. This one really got to me. The author does a fantastic job of laying out every situation with such detail that you feel like you are o

This is a great book! The story quickly drew me in and kept me turning the pages until I finished. I really enjoy character driven stories and these characters are likable, and complex. The settings are wonderfully described so it felt as though I were right there with the characters. There is a prequel novella I recommend reading before starting this book, it isn't necessary but it will give a more complete background to the story and help give more depth of character.

I absolutely love this series! Emma and Ryan just cannot catch a break. As much as I love Ryan, I'm really liking Justin. The characters and storyline are just captivating. There is just so much to this story, you just have to read it to understand how amazing Katharina LeBoeuf is as a writer!!!!

Overall I really liked this book.  The story is about Emma and Ryan but I feel like it's mostly Emma's story.  I wish there was more from Ryan's POV.   I feel so bad for Emma she has to deal with so much both before and during the book.  I think Paige is a great friend for her. At certain points it's slow but it really picks up when Emma gets to Aspen.  It's truly a story of will there be a second chance at love or will both Emma and Ryan let love go and move on.  The book ends with a cliffhange

Finding love in unexpected places

After reading the prequel PIECES OF US, I really wanted to know how Emma and Ryan moved on with their lives in LETTING LOVE GO. Katharina did not fail to let me down at all. When the prequel finished I was left shattered, so I knew that whatever I read in this one, was more than likely going to play on all my emotions once again. I wasn't wrong, laughter, tears and rage were experienced on several occasions and I would go through all of it again.

Having read the short prequel (Pieces of us) i could not wait to read this book, second chance romance books are always high on my go to list. This book dives right in from where the prequel left off which was good. I love Ryan, how supportive and protective of Emma he is melts my heart. Emma, what can i say the things this poor girl has to go through breaks my heart, i wanted so many times to be able to reach out to her and give her a hug.

Both Emma and Ryan havent spoke or seen each other in s

I feel like watching a drama series with all the emotions and happenings going on in this story. I'm so in love with the idea of Emma and Ryan, especially since we got our hearts broken in Pieces of us, but I can't help but fall in love with Justin as well! The anticipation for the conclusion is just too much, the build up for Emma-Justin is just too sweet and I don't know if my heart can take another excitement like that!

I was provided a copy for review purposes.

Ahhhh! This book was so good! I know it's going to haunt me for a long time to come. I smiled. I laughed. I cried a little. And now I'm angry: angry that it's over, that is. I can tell I'm going to have a serious book hangover.

The characters were complex and so incredibly real to me. I liked Emma immediately, and her best friend Paige was what every best friend should be. I loved when Paige rescued Emma from Dan the jerk and nailed him where it counts! Justin was sweet, hot, and so patient. Yet

Letting Love Go by Katharina Leboeuf
“ the title speaks for itself, 3 stars”

If your reading Letting Love Go then you should have read Pieces of Us, this is Ryan and Emma’s story. Ryan and Emma fell hard when they were kids and years later they are still holding torch for the other. Only they don’t know that.
Emma decides its time to move on, shes too young to be this jaded. Only since Ryan she has had craptastic taste in men. Since the death of her father and the loss of Ryan she lost herself. Thi

I volunteered to read an advance readers copy of this book. No form of payment was received. These are my thoughts on the story.

I freaking loved this story. This is part of the Damaged Heart Series. You can read this first but I recommend you go grab Pieces of Us from Amazon and read it first.

Emma is a law student and working part time at a firm. She is struggling with moving on after a broken heart. I don't want to go into to much because it will give away what happens in Pieces of US and I don
