Though this is a prequel to Love Connection it can be read as a standalone. Feeble gives us the insight to the college years between this trio (Linden, Brandon and Jennifer) and how it led to certain events that you will read in the series. You do not need to read any other book to understand this story, this just fills in some blanks for those of us who have read the full series and fell in love with these characters.
I will say that some will love this and some will not love this connection be

Brandon and Jennifer (which is my favorite name, LOL) have developed the perfect friendship, that many people never see in their lifetime. In fact, it's so awesome, that really, they are made for each other, but for whatever reason, they are ignoring it. Linden, who I consider a huge douche, joins the story for Jennifer, and although he really treats her badly, she still has his back. Brandon is sitting back watching it, and finally moves in. And that's all that I'm giving, as this is a spoiler ...more

After reading the other books that go with this story I knew I would read the prequel. Even though I read book 1 first I would have preferred starring with this one if it was available. You completely feel the connection between all Brandon, Jennifer & Linden regardless but, I loved having a in depth back story of everyone's separate dynamics. I loved Brandon even more here then I did in the other books but, Jennifer got on my nerves a good portion of this book. I was always on the fence about h ...more

4 Stars!

This is the 5th time that I've started writing this review. I seriously just don't know how I feel about Feeble Connection. I'm sure I'm not the only one that will be left with such jumbled emotions after reading this. Even though this is the pre-quel to Love Connection and it is being released AFTER book one, I'm so glad that I was able to start the series with this book first! Now when I start Love Connection, I feel like I'll have a better understanding and a better connection with th

Brandon and Jennifer are the best of friends. They should be more, they love each other but Brandon has some manwhore-ish ways so he knows he's not exactly the best guy for Jennifer. As they lives continue, Jennifer meets Linden. He's the actual bad boy of the story. Now Brandon wants more... But now its up to Jennifer.

So, Feeble Connections is a prequel to the author's Love Connection Series. I feel like I'm missing out NOT because there wasn't enough information in it but because I wanted more

Fair warning this may contain spoilers. I am undecided about this book. I want to give it 3.5 stars. First off this is a long book there is two parts to it. It is a prequel to Live Connection and gives you an insight to the love triangles (Brandon, Jennifer and Linden) college years and how they met. I am not sure how to write this but I will just breakdown each character first we have Brandon who is a manwhore going through issues and his solution is to sleep with any girl who walks by, but he ...more

Jennifer is ready to take on the world. She is starting college as a film major, and is finally ready to open her heart to a real relationship. From the moment she enters school she starts hearing about "manwhore" Brandon Sky. She knows that someone like him is not the one for her and plan to steer clear of him. Brandon accepts his Cassanova title with no shame, knowing that he only uses sex to help his own pain but when he first sees Jennifer everything he thought he knew about women and love i ...more
Book Review originally published here:

Feeble Connections is a prequel of sorts, to the Love Connection series. I hadn’t read this series yet but the first book has me intrigued, so I might pick it up when I have some spare time. From Goodreads, it looks like there are already two books out in that series, so I have some catching up to do.

Anyway, Feeble Connections is the story of Brandon, a charming Casanova; Jennifer, a beautiful young woman desperate to

I fell in love with Brandon. The friendship that develops with Brandon and Jennifer is one lives are made for. Everyone always wants to find their lobster and to live happily ever after. These two though skirt around the fact that they are perfect for each other. Jennifer playfully calling Brandon Mr. Player when he wouldn't do that to her. Brandon standing back and watching her move forward with life.

Linden is a selfish prick that I just couldn't get in tune with. He did everything in h

This book I think gave readers a lot of perspective into what the characters were thinking in the beginning of this love triangle. I like how Linden is kind of a passerby in the beginning and she can't forget him. I truly struggled with loving Linden but I think it was kind of like Jen's love for him. I learned to love him even through all his cruelty and pain. The last book, reading his thoughts and the way he felt gave me so much insight and helped me see him in a different light. The first bo ...more

I liked this book and it had lots of events and sent you on one hell of a ride!

Brandon and Jennifer's relationship is one that everyone wants on life. Everyone wants to find the one and live happily ever after but they are skirting the fact that they are made for each other. Jennifer calls Brandon a player whilst Brandon is watching Jennifer move on with her life from a distance.

Linden however I hated he was selfish and did everything possible to make Jennifer miserable but she was still there

I don't think I can rate this book. This is my problem and not the book's nor the author's. You see, I'm just not able to connect with books that are written by British authors usually. The language (especially the lack of contractions in conversation - have not instead of haven't for example) is very distracting and keeps me from engaging in the story. If an h mentions that something "fancies" her, or if someone uses the word knickers (snort) I have a break from my mental movie and see the word ...more

Really "Feeble Connections" with Words

You can see this author has the creative spark necessary to write a story. This was a very emotional and angsty type young adult romance. I will say that there were many word choice errors and typos that hinder the reader's enjoyment. I am guessing that American English is not this writer's first language. Basketball games are referred to as "matches". Words that look like the word you would expect used are used making the sentence nonsensical. Verb tense is

I was waiting for this book since a long time and finally I got to read it. I have no words to describe just how beautiful it is. Love, friendship, banter, betrayal, lies, sports, fun, party- it has it all. It is a bundle that guarantees entertainment, joy as well as tears. It evokes strong and intense feelings and the story overall has a lot of depth to it. Having read Love Connection it gives a clear picture of the characters choices and what led to them in the first place. This book is defini ...more

This book fills in a lot of blanks and gives you Brandon and Jennifer's story during college and the story you do not get to see prior to Love Connection. I love their story although some of it will make you mad and think why can't they just be together they obviously love and care for one another! I have to make myself stop and look at each character and their reasons for being the way they are and why they make the choices they make. You do feel like your apart of the story and can feel what t ...more

3.5-4 stars for me
This is my first read from this author and I will definitely be looking for more as I enjoyed her voice. Feeble Connections is the start of The Love Connection Series but can be read as a standalone.
It tells the story of Jennifer, Brandon and Linden. Best friends, first loves and heartbreak are all explored in this coming of age book. There were some editing problems that the author should look into but overall I really enjoyed this book.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Words are really falling short to describe just how much I loved this book. I really wish I had started the series with this book. I would have loved the characters even more than I already do ( Is that even possible?! I already love them so much) Unique story with a HOLY climax. I am totally addicted to the series and I can't wait to read more of Brandon, Linden and Jennifer :P
I really can't pick a team though I loved Brandon the most in this

Meghana Sarathy has great attention to detail and makes everything from the setting, to the characters feel very real. It makes for a wonderfully written and very authentic novel.

Meghana manages to take the reader through a barrage of other emotions besides the typical and they will find themselves submerged in the world and feeling every single things that happens to Jennifer, Brandon, and Linden. The characters were charismatic and drew the reader in.

Wow, I truly enjoyed Meghana Sarathy’s writing style in this novel. Sometimes it can take me a bit to get into a story, but I felt like the way this story flowed was effortless. I truly enjoyed Jennifer as a character from the beginning and understood her motives throughout the story.
The story itself progressed nicely. I didn’t feel like it was rushed or dragged. I liked the focus of the novel.
There was major growth for some of the characters from beginning to end.

5 stars.
This story twisted me in such an emotion ball that I couldn't help but give it 5. I was a big fan of the first book Love Connection and couldn't wait to see how it all began. The complexity of the characters and plot makes this love triangle feel fresh and new. You'll find yourself falling in and out of love as you bounce back and forth between the pairs.
Well done!

This is the first time I have read any of this author’s work, and what an introduction it is!! I am left with jumbled emotions after reading this prequel, but I cannot wait to read Love Connection. This is a unique and intriguing storyline, which is well written, and I was hooked throughout. This is certainly a rollercoaster ride worth taking.

Emotional and so very deep.

Definitely some ups and downs with this story. It's a second chance romance.

I was pleasantly surprised by how engaged I became in their journey.

Characterization was well done and the flow of the novel as a whole felt smooth.

Overall a solid New Adult Romance.

I loved writing this book <3 and like my other books it's a mix of everything I love- swoon worthy/ dashing/dirty talking/ cocky heros, a complicated love triangle, right dosage of angst and sex and NOT to forget unexpected twists and turns with sufficient drama.
My all time favourite:p
Brandon, you have stolen the show in this book and I love you all the more for it;)

I had mixed feelings for this book. First love, then hate, then love, then powerful hatred, then okay-feeling, and then again… powerful hatred.
First, I liked the beginning of the book but it came a moment when I started to hate Brandon, much. He was such an indecisive-contradictory-manwhore. He supposed to like Jennifer, but he didn’t co

Reading and writing is my passion. I am proud author of the Love Connection series and for me, Love Connection will remain my top favourite romance ( I wrote it exactly the way I would love it as a reader:p) It is a long series, and I am currently writing the other books in the series.
