Hawke's dad is on wife #9. Can you imagine??? All of this wedded bliss has turned him off of even the idea of marriage. All he wants to focus on is keeping the family business safe from what he sees as another gold digger. He's just shy of having enough shares to take over the company. To get the remaining shares he needs the last thing he wants: a wife.

This was a relatively quick read, but despite how short it was, I enjoyed the time spent on the developing relationship between Hawke and his wife, Amy. There was intense chemistry, humorous banter, and real feelings that quickly evolved between them. There wasn't too much drama and yet the story felt dramatic. It was well-written and had just enough character development to make Hawke and Amy relevant. Candace Havens is new to me but I'll definitely be on the lookout for what she publishes next.

This marriage of convenience romance was hot! It has explosive chemistry between Hawke and Amy and some funny laugh out loud moments that made this a sexy good read.

It was slightly taboo, what with Amy’s mother recently marrying Hawke’s father and them technically being step-siblings, but they were both adults and were never raised together so it wasn’t made into a huge focal point of the story.

I loved watching Hawke with his extended family (his father’s been married 9 times so he’s accumulated quiet the collection of step-siblings) their interesting family dynamic is something I’d love to explore with the rest of his family.

If you like steamy, short and sweet romances with a HEA I cannot recommend this one fast enough! Loved the progression of their relationship and their problems were solved in a realistic way that proved they were in it for the long haul. This has great smexy times *fans self*, a bunch of awesome supporting characters and just the right amount of humor to keep in light and fluffy ;)

This was average for me. I was close to calling it quits because it felt like it took forever to take off. The constant internal dialogue reminding themselves it was only temporary got old fast. About 3/4 in, it did pick up, but at that point I didn't feel as invested.

-arrogant hero who only did ONS's
-innocent yet feisty ballerina
-step siblings but they had never met before
-not so much pushing away- more like not letting themselves admit their feelings
-no cheating
-no om drama
-ow drama -

-1 year out epilogue that was lackluster

Cute story. Had some hot moments. I liked that the drama wasn't drawn out unnecessarily. I liked the hero a lot, and would read more books with this cast.

Straight erotic romance.

This is a quick, light and sexy read. Hawke and Amy are a mismatched pair who find common ground and an instant attraction to each other. A marriage of convenience ensues, Amy needing money to help her brother (at first, we aren't sure if he's involved in something shady but it all gets explained in the end) and Hawke needs a wife in order to get the shares of the family company left to him when his mother died. His father's propensity to meet, marry and divorce women only after his money means that the family business is constantly in danger of being sold out from under Hawke and his step-siblings and if he has controlling interest, he can make sure everyone is cared for. He's a big bear of a man, but quite the sweetheart and even though at first he tries to scare off the diminutive and perky Amy, she doesn't buy it. There are several steamy scenes, some misunderstandings that get cleared up pretty quickly and a sweet happy ending. No deep POV, no angst, just a fun sexy story. 3.5 stars.

This was a good and quick romance read for me. It’s a romance of convenience type storyline which has some moments of hot chemistry between the Main Characters and some awesome humor and witty banter between them.
Hawke and Amy are mismatched couple- Take a millionaire biker and one innocent yet sassy ballerina who end up being step siblings. A marriage of convenience ensues between them. Reasons are: Hawke needs a wife in order to get the shares of the family company & Amy needs money to help her brother so Hawke meets Amy at his father’s wedding to Amy’s mother (note : Amy's mom is wife number 9 ) Hawke needs marriage to get the shares so he can run the business .
I normally love marriage of convenience love stories but at times Hawke came off like this super jerk. That was at times too much. He needed to learn to ask more questions or just go with trust. I adored Amy. She was sweet and sassy. She had this heart of gold. She took but when she got tired of taking Hawke’s verbal jabs, look out.
I would have loved to see Hawke have his come to Jesus moment a lot sooner than the end so that way he and Amy could have more time learning about each other and have more romance but that’s me. I did like Hawke’s alpha ways and his caveman behavior. There was some taboo moments which took this rating from a 3.5 up to a 4 stars in my book and I will definitely give this author another look for future reads.

Hawke is an asshole who thinks Amy is a stripper and gold-digger when he meets her the first time. Amy is a professional ballerina who is here for the summer to recover from an Ankle injury.
This is a story of insta-love and trust. Life and his father's multiple marriages has made him cynical. Amy is a breath of fresh air. Their fake marriage only ends up in fueling the heat and passion. I really like Amy's character. She is the perfect match for Hawke and his broodiness. Love the story and the characters.

Hawke and Amy have a very interesting story. What starts as a convenient marriage, morphs into something more.

The two start off their relationship with secrets. Amy is a ballerina, she's strong, physically and mentally. Amy doesn't believe in love, she's committed to focusing on herself and her career. Hawke is a caretaker. He deals with the problems. He's sexy, smart, and a shrewd businessman. He thinks he has all the answers and is prepared to fight.

All I want is You is a great read. It's quick moving. The storyline is interesting, sexy, and just a dab taboo. The sex scenes are sweet and fun. I would recommend this to the reader looking for a good book with a steamy couple and an engaging marriage of convenience.

All I want is You is my first book from this author despite featuring her on the blog previously. However when I read the blurb, I knew I had to squeeze this book into already busy packed date as I wanted to know the story of Amy and Hawke .

What would happen when a tattooed biker meets a ballerina …..

Out of all the scenarios I have reader over the years. I don’t think I have come across this scenario. Yes I have read some biker books featuring a heroine that is a dancer but not a ballerina. And this didn’t disappoint.

A fast quick novel that packs quickly a punch, It was hard not fall for Hawke and Amy two total opposites who are thrown together because of their parents marriage and forced to adapt with some surprising results.

Hawke may be a grumpy tattoo biker who is trying to keep everything together and doesn’t have time for relationships. His dad is doing plenty for his family and Hawke’s life revolves around him. He doesn’t know anything else . His dad is up to wife nine and seeing plenty of chaos as result of his dad’s decisions. Hawke has thrown himself into company and making sure that is everyone else is alright.

Wedding Bliss is never in his future. Until finds Amy in the pool and thinks that he got another problem on his hands. Little does he know how wrong he is going to be as Amy isn’t exactly what he expects.

Amy is there to recover, she got her own life in Paris. She doesn’t expect to find that she will playing make believe with Hawke. He hot but he isn’t her type or is he ?

All I want is You maybe written in the vain of the classic category romances. But this a very modern romance and I loved the story of Amy and Hawke. It was fun, wild and totally a little cheesy. But I enjoyed this sort of a story and Havens didn’t disappoint.

I really enjoyed this one! Loved the first meeting of Hawke and Amy. He's a rough Harley riding guy and she's a rehabbing ballerina and they truly are opposites but the one thing they have in common is their parents seem to fall in and out of love with ease. To protect and get controlling interest in the family business Hawke needs a wife. Meeting Amy has him coming up with a plan that could benefit both of them.

This is a light, sexy, quick read that will keep you completely entertained. Nothing to deep but definitely enjoyable. Recommended read.

What’s it About? Hawke Vance looks like a bad boy with his sexy tattoos and his love for motorcycles but at heart he loves his family and the family business so he’ll do whatever it takes to protect both. When his father gets married for the ninth, Hawke decides to take immediate action to make sure his new stepmom isn’t going to take what doesn’t belong to her, but for that Hawke needs a wife. Luckily a candidate has landed in his path, or his pool. Amy Powell is on vacation while recovering from an injury but when she’s caught skinny dipping by the owner of the house she’s staying in, she’s anything but relaxed. When Hawke offers her money to help her brother in exchange for her hand in a temporary marriage, Amy agrees but puts in a few stipulations of her own, one being that even thought the marriage is fake, they’ll indulge in some very real sex.

Overall reaction to the story? A marriage of convenience romance is difficult to pull off in a contemporary romance yet Havens manages to not only make it believable but sexy and fun as well. She has a drop dead sexy leading man and a strong, witty leading lady which to me is more important than the leading man (sorry Hawke). Simply put, I LOVED All I Want is You. Candace Havens is a new to me author that I picked up on a whim and I’m so glad I did!

Describe the hero in five words: Alpha. Stubborn. Funny. Loyal. Considerate.
Did you like him? Yes.
Why? Hawke is all man, sexy, confident, a little bossy, and loyal to his family. I expected that but what I didn’t expect was his fun side. It’s subtle but he gives Amy a gag gift just to see how she reacts. That was something that added to Hawke as a character because I can count in one hand how many alpha males have a sense of humor. Most of them just brood and act sexy, and I’m not going to lie, Hawke can brood with the best of them and his sexiness is off the charts but he had a very sweet side to him too. And as he fell for Amy, he became absorbed in what made her who she was as a person. She wasn’t a thing to him or worse, a possession that he could mold into what he wanted, Hawke wanted to know her as a person, which was way more sexy to me than the brooding.

Describe the heroine in five words: Tough. Snarky. Smart. Talented. Fun.
Did you like her? Yes.
Why? I’ve never encountered a tough ballerina before in a romance. They’re always these prim, somewhat snooty characters who seem like they’ll snap in two if you say “Boo” to them. Amy was so not like that! I loved her spunky attitude! She was the complete opposite of what I expected her to be and it was awesome! She is totally what I want to see in a heroine who is at a bit of a disadvantage with the hero. Amy didn’t take Hawke’s crap and her reaction to his gag gift was priceless I tell you! I had so many moments where I was mentally cheering her on because she was so cool and badass! I can’t say enough good things about her, she was just so much fun and I could totally see why Hawke fell in love with her. She’s just one of those characters you wish you could be best friends with in real life.

Let’s talk about the romance: Hawke and Amy burn up the pages. Not going to lie, these two are so combustible together and that chemistry has a lot to do with Amy being the way she is. An alpha male needs an alpha female and dang if these two weren’t a match. But physical combustion aside, they genuinely spent time together out of bed where they just hung out. I loved those moments just as much as the ones where they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. It was easy to believe they were falling in love during those quiet moments where they were just being together, doing every day couple things like Hawke taking Amy on a tour of his business.

How about that supporting cast? Hawke and Amy are pretty much the only characters in All I Want is You but there are appearances by Hawke’s father and Amy’s mother who married each other and inadvertently set off Hawke’s crazy idea of a marriage of convenience to Amy. Hawke also has a number of step siblings but only a handful of them appear. I’m really hoping Candace Havens turns this book into a series and writes about Hawke’s step siblings because I find I’ve become emotionally invested in Hawke’s family. And I’m not kidding.

Click It or Skip It? Click It. I’ve been reading Brazen books for awhile and Candace Havens stands out as one of the best ones. All I Want is You has a whole lot of heat and a whole lot of heart.

Here we go with my fav trope....fake to real! We've got hot millionaire biker Hawke who proposes marriage to his new stepsister, Amy, within minutes of meeting her. Why does he do this? Because Amy's mom is wife number 9 and he needs to gain control of the family business and the only way he can do this is by being married. Amy accepts the proposal and off we go falling in love!!!

I liked Amy. She was a ballerina with a hot streak. She gave as good as she got. Hawke was a bit of a jerk. All the way through this too. I get his trust issues, but if he had just asked questions and pushed her to answer, they wouldn't have had any trouble. His groveling was good though (and ya'll know how much I LOVE a good grovel scene lol)

I've had Candace Havens on my TBR for a while. I'll be moving her other stuff up the list since I really did enjoy this one :)

If I could have a penny for everytime I say that I'm on cloud nine I would be a rich girl. So so rich. Lol.
I'm a very lucky girl because I've been reading amazing books after amazing books, it's a non stop rollercoaster.
Candace Havens is amazing and this book shows just that. Her writing is simple but pretty much detailed and super intense. I just have one complain, the book is short, lol. I'm a gready woman so I always want more. And the cover!!! Yummy!!
All I Want Is You explores the lifes of Hawke and Amy.
Hawke is a business man who loves his job. He's currently having a few problems with his father and because of that he needs to do whatever it takes to protect his family business. He swore that he would never commit with one women mainly because he has his father example of betrayal and gready womans.
Amy is the Prima ballerina that loves to dance. She needed to get away for a while due to recover from an injury, so she accepted her step-dad offer to stay at his house. She was caught skinny dipping by a hot as hell biker that turned out to be the owner of her vacation house, but she didn't know him.
But here's the catch, he needs her to marry him just for two years and for that he will pay her.
But can she do it? Does this pretend marriage become for real? Can love be mistaken for lust?
So many questions and the answers are just around the corner. Lol.
I really love a book told in the third person. I love the dual points of views told by someone else.
This book made me realize that love can appear in a sec. We can't choose when we fall in love, it just happens and we need to deal with it. I loved this story and I wanted it to continue. I wanted to keep reading about them over and over. The way the story progressed will leave you wanting more as well.
Everyone needs a second chance and we can't be blamed or compared to our parents, because we have our own minds and feelings.
Thank you Candace for this beautiful story and let me tell you that I want more.

I love a negotiated marriage of convenience to love and this one is super hot!  Hawke and Amy were smitten from the get-go and they were super explosive together!

Hawke's father just married wife number nine, and his new step-daughter, Amy, comes to stay at the family house after an ankle and knee injury.  Unaware that Hawke has returned home, he finds Amy swimming naked in the pool!  Talk about embarrassing! And funny! From there we get sparks, but what to do with her staying in his house for the summer??

When Hawke hears Amy talking on the phone and promising to get them money, he crafts a way for her to get the money she needs and for him to get the controlling shares of his company from his father.  He can't afford him recklessly getting divorced and putting the company in danger anymore. He needs a wife to get the controlling shares his mother left him. They craft an arranged marriage-each to their benefit.

I absolutely am a sucker for the falling in love from a negotiated marriage theme! This was crafted quite well and the falling part came on pretty natural for both Hawke and Amy.  They both try to reason with themselves, but it's no use. The other has gotten in and set up camp.  I loved how sexy and totally enamored they each were with the other. Neither was the other's "type" but it really worked. It was totally believable and never did I think they wouldn't be able to make a go of it!

This is one of those quick reads that make you feel all good and tingly inside!  I highly recommend All I Want is You! It had the right amount of sweet and spicy!!  This is my first read by Candace Havens but I am certain it will not be the last!

Hawke Vance will go to any lengths to protect the family business that he has worked hard to make even more successful. Especially from his father who has a penchant for changing wives like most people change clothes, after his ninth marriage in Vegas. Ballerina, Amy Powell, never thought she would get caught skinny dipping the first day of her vacation, by Mr. Sex on a Stick, who happens to be her new step brother. But when he offers her money to save her brother for a pretend marriage to him, she decides to take it, but with extra conditions. It only gets complicated when growing feelings get involved. I couldn't turn the pages quickly enough of this very entertaining story. My laughter never stopped while Hawke was always trying to get the drop on Amy, and she would turn it right back around on him. She was a great character, and I couldn't get enough of her. Their insane chemistry scorched the pages until it fiery flames of sexy scene goodness took over to destroy everything in it's path. I really liked Candace Havens talented writing style, as I was fully engaged from the get go. And this story would have been absolutely perfect with a bit more length, as the ending came off a bit too rushed for me. I am not too proud to beg for more of the hottie biker, and his ballerina, so in the meantime I'll have to read more by her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

All I Want Is You is my first book by Candace Havens. It’s a short, sexy, and fun read. I enjoyed this story of finding love in the most unexpected places. It’s the perfect feel-good book after some heavy, angst-y reads. It will have you entertained from page one to the epilogue.

Due to Hawke Vance’s father just having married wife number 9, Hawke is scrambling to secure his family company from what he fears are the hands of another gold-digger. He’s worked hard the last few years to expand his company and make it a success. The past however, has taught him that his father’s taste in women is not the most reliable. And he fears this hasn’t changed this time around. He has one way to change this; he needs a wife.

This is where Amy Powell enters the picture. The beautiful ballerina is Hawke’s newest step-sister and roommate for the summer, nursing her insured ankle and knee back to health, before she goes back to Paris in the fall. This makes her the perfect fake wife.
What neither one of them has counted on however, is the insane attraction they share. Their fake relationship soon turns real, but can two people with trust-issues let go of their past and learn to trust? Or will the past rear its ugly head and ruin what they were building?

Hawke and Amy are perfect together, even if they don’t see it. I enjoyed their banter, sexual chemistry, and stubbornness. When these two got together sparks fly! Both of them had their issues and reasons to be weary of relationships. And one misunderstand just about cost them their future together—which made me want to shake both of them. But, I loved how as soon as they realized their mistakes, they found the strength and forgiveness to move on.

If you are in need of a quick read that will have you laugh out loud, swoon, and cheer for the characters, All I Want Is You is the one for you. I enjoyed this book and will pick up more of Miss Havens books whenever I’m need for a sexy read to cheer me up with its story line, loveable characters, and angst that will break your heart.

Amy is one feisty girl, “don’t ever send me another gift like that. Not if you like your nuts where they are.” Hawke may think he's not a romantic but he does a good job giving Amy some sweetness, “you’re my ballerina, and I want you in my bed, in my room. I want to wake up next to you. Deal?” I loved this book, it was fast paced and Amy could stand her ground against Hawke.

All I Want Is You by Candace Havens was a good read with a story that was fast in pace which often made the tale a bit unconvincing in some of the scenes. I liked both the main characters of Hawke and Amy, but overall would have liked more story for their characters.

This was a quick, sexy read. Hawke met Amy when she was swimming naked in his pool, lol. Hawke was an awesome big brother that took care of his siblings and had their best interest at heart. Amy was the daughter of Hawke's dad latest wife.

Things were slow at first but then they made a business deal and then fell in love. It was nice.

This was a super faced paced book about Hawke Vance, who will do whatever it takes to make sure his father doesn't ruin his family's company. After marriage number 9 to someone he just met, Hawke has decided he needs to take over the family business. To do so, he must get married to get the rest of the company shares.

Amy Powel is the daughter of wife number 9 and his new step sister. This doesn't stop Hawke from coming up with a plan to marry her, get control of the company and give Amy the 50 grand she needs to help out another step brother.....

If you know me, you know I am not into the step romance thing. So, that was a huge strike against this book.

I would have liked this story more if they were not related .... it is a turn off for me.

Again? Hawke turns his phone on after a week of relaxing and learns from an article his Dad has gotten married...for the ninth time. As the oldest of an ever-growing amount of offspring, he's always felt it was his responsibility to take care of the family and their company, one Hawke is trying to gain control of to ensure it's safe from each new wife, and subsequent divorce. He's close, but it's not enough. After arriving home and calling his best friend, Gray, Hawke refuses to accept the last resort option and get married which would give Hawke the leverage he needs. Right now though, he has to figure out why the gorgeous naked woman swimming in the pool is claiming to live there.

Amy, a ballet dancer, is using her new stepdad's pool, as a precursor to the rehab she'll soon be starting on her injured ankle. Fall auditions start in two months in Paris and she needs to be back in peak condition. When her Mom's new (third) husband offers his place for the summer it's a blessing. For some reason, Amy believes this time might actually be the one her Mom has been searching for. Things may be a little stressful now, with her injury, trying to help her brother, and adjusting to a new stepdad, but at least her therapist is close to her temporary living arrangements. However, she quickly realizes she didn't just meet the handyman.

“Because the last time I looked, it was my name on the deed to the property, sis.” - Hawke

Even though Hawke assumes the worst of Amy, as in she's a gold digger as he's sure her Mother is, the intense attraction he feels for her is hard to contain. When he overhears, yeah okay, he eavesdropped, so sue him, that she needs to give some guy named Bo money, a crazy idea begins to form, one that a certain part of his body is completely in agreement with. Amy obviously needs money and will be leaving in two months and he needs a wife for two years...

Amy needs to find a way to help Bo, her beloved younger stepbrother, otherwise he could go to jail, all because he trusted the wrong person. She isn't sure how yet, but she'll figure something out, she always does, and has since being on her own at fourteen. Ironically, the way to help Bo may be one she never thought she'd accept.

“Marry me.” - Hawke

Hawke can't believe how badly he wants Amy to agree, and when she does, with conditions, he knows they're ones he can live with. Nobody knows the marriage isn't real? Done. They remain faithful for the two years they're "together?" Done. Crazy monkey sex? Wait, what?

Their wedding day, nor their emotions about it, go as Hawke and Amy expected. When Hawke's determination to show her who she married, and the unexpected possessiveness he felt as a result of it, as well as the unintentional pain he caused Amy backfires, he knows he messed up and vows to do better. But their wedding night goes exactly as one should...sexy, dirty, sweaty, and explosive multiple times.

What happens when Hawke and Amy's lives seamlessly start to merge and they like it? When Hawke tries to push Amy away will she call him on it? What will Hawke's family think about Amy and vice versa? How will Amy's therapy go? Will Hawke become a part of it? What happens when they both start imagining their marriage is real? Will Hawke's negative views on love and relationships due to his Dad's numerous marriages impact his own to Amy? Will he recognize and admit he messed up? Can she forgive him? Or has he lost the best thing to ever happen to him? Can they compromise and make their marriage truly work even though they live in different countries? Is there a HEA for Hawke and Amy?

One-click and follow along as two people fall quickly and hard.

On a purely personal note, I really wish the whole plotline of the "manwhorish or not quite one, but doesn't sleep with the same person twice marrying a virgin and/or inexperienced woman" would fade away. Now with that being said, aside from that and a small, a few sentences only, amount of other woman drama, I really liked this story and hope to read future books featuring Hawke's siblings.

My favorite book of 2017 so far. Hawke is a dreamy hot biker with committment issues. But he meets his "match" in Amy, the ballerina, and his new step-sister. I really enjoyed this story. Tender moments, steamy scenes and lots of witty banter wrapped this one up with a bow for me! Perfect read for the romance lovers looking for a feel-good read. It will leave you with a *sigh* smile.

All I Want is You
By: Candace Havens

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Star Review by Kristie K

A fun and flirty fake marriage romance, with a hot biker, a prima ballerina, and a whole lot of unexpected assumptions…

This book captured my attention from the synopsis…and the crazy sexy cover! A ballerina caught skinny dipping by a hot as Hades biker?! My kind of literary gold right there! Let me elaborate a bit. Amy Powell is a prima ballerina on hiatus from her tour due to an injury, and is lucky enough to have a place to stay thanks to arrangements her mother was able to make. Staying in a gorgeous home, that she seems to have all to herself, Amy makes herself comfortable. One day, while taking an impromptu dip in the pool…naked…Amy receives an unexpected visit from arguably one of the hottest men she’s ever laid eyes on. As if that awkward moment isn’t enough, she comes to find out he’s the owner of the house…and he wasn’t fully aware she was the guest he was told would be staying there. What an introduction!

Hawke Vance is the hot as Hades biker, and homeowner, that stumbles upon the very naked Amy as she swims in his pool. With his father’s constantly changing love life, Hawke is somewhat accustomed to unexpected surprises. Before stumbling upon his new houseguest, Hawke was trying to work out a way to protect the family business from his father’s most recent walk down the aisle. His only viable solution? A trip down the aisle himself… Could it be that his new houseguest is the answer to his prayers? Tension reaches an all time high when Hawke makes an “indecent proposal” all his own…

This is the first book I have read by Candace Havens, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! From the sexy cover to the attention grabbing blurb, Ms. Havens had me at hello! Even in a genre as popular and “done” as this one, Ms. Havens has managed to bring a fresh spin to the plot and storyline that give it just the right amount of different. The characters were amazing. Each one had their own personality, heart, soul, and mind. Amy was such a sweet soul. So much goodness inside her it couldn’t help but touch those around her. In addition to that, though, she was strong…so very strong. Her wit and humor highlighted her beautiful heart, and her forgiveness divine. Hawke was so frustratingly male! (I mean that in the best possible way!) Stubborn, determined, and driven, this beautiful man could be his own worst enemy. A beautiful heart and soul beat beneath that hard exterior, and his sense of family is by far one of the most amazing things about him. I truly enjoyed every moment of this book, it’s story, and it’s characters. This will not be the last I see of Candace Havens.

Finally fed up with the number of times his father has gotten married and concerned about losing the family business, Hawke Vance decides to take matters into his own hands by finding a suitable woman to marry. Who better to ask than the woman he finds skinny dipping in his pool? Except Hawke never imagined he'd fall in love with Amy Powell when they were only supposed to fake their relationship for two months until she left for another country. Can he convince her that he wants more than a marriage of convenience?

This is the first book I've read by Ms. Havens, and I've got to say that it won't be my last. Right from the beginning, this book was very entertaining, fast-paced and I was immediately intrigued by the hero. He's a man that likes things fast, isn't interested in relationships, and would do anything for his family. So, of course, I wanted to discover more about him. Why isn't he interested in happy ever after? How far is he willing to go for his family, especially when marrying someone is the last thing he wants? Will Amy leave or stay when it comes time to leave to continue following her dreams?

The dialogue was compelling, well-written and made this story a worthwhile read, because of the main characters back stories and their growing relationship. Amy is strong, brave, independent, and I could understand why she agreed to marry Hawke, even when marriage wasn't in her plans for her future. She'd do anything for family, and marrying the hero is the only way for her to get what she wants, because her only other option would come with too many strings. She's also kind, caring and I loved how she got along so well with Hawke's family and best friend. They tease each other like they've known each other for more than the short time they have.

While Hawke, he never imagined himself married because of his father's history with marriage, and it goes to show with how much he tries to fight falling in love with the heroine. Yet, in saying that, falling in love with her was inevitable and Amy is good for him. Not only because being with her would grant him the thing he wants most, but because she challenges him with the fact that she doesn't let him get away with anything he does. Especially the moment when he sends her a gift and it ends up backfiring. The joke was on him.

Overall, Ms. Havens delivered a wonderful read in this book where Hawke and Amy had plenty of chemistry, which spilled over onto the pages in hot sex scenes. The way this story ended had me wondering how Hawke could be such a jerk until he made things right between them. Didn't she deserve the benefit of the doubt? Furthermore, the epilogue wrapped this story up perfectly, as Amy's dreams came true and Hawke proved how romantic he can be. I would highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy the marriage of convenience trope, the fake relationship trope or books by authors Rebecca Brooks, Gina L. Maxwell or Amy Andrews.

Hawke's dad is on wife #9 and Hawke needs an ironclad method to protect his family's business. He's seen too much of the profit going to women only see dollar signs instead of the man they they married. This many marriages also means he has more step siblings than he can count. When Hawke's dad's wife #9 comes complete with a hot daughter, one with sibling problems, he devises a plan to protect the business and to help Amy out with her problems. Love wasn't really in the plan.

After watching his father cycle through marriage after marriage, Hawke's views of love and all that wedded bliss is less than cynical. There's no way he is going to fall into the trappings of that arrangement.....until Amy walks into his life as one of his many step-siblings. Her appearance at his home throws Hawke for a loop. He's never felt the things he feels when around Amy. He tries to push the feelings aside; however, they have other ideas. Ideas that involve Hawke and Amy together and not just due to a business arrangement.

All I Want is You is a cute story that pairs a jaded Hawke with a caring and compassionate Amy. As their business arrangement continues, real feelings of love begin to develop between them.
The author did a great job slowly building up the romance and making it sneak up on the duo. Readers tend to see where story lines are going in certain instances, such as in the case of the romance in this book. I love it when authors blindside their characters (or do the characters blindside their creator??), however, and the next thing you know, the biggest opponents of relationships find themselves smack dab in the middle of one.

The author provides enough character development to make Hawke and Amy relatable. The scenes are vivid and the story is fast paced and engaging. I enjoyed the way the author made the chemistry between Hawke and Amy believable. The emotional moments grab and wrap around the reader. The main conflict between Hawke and Amy was a little weak but the author brought it around full circle. I really enjoyed the story and the characters.

For whatever reason, I just wasn't into this book and the characters. Typically, I really like marriage of convenience stories and the way that the main characters gradually fall in love with each other. Unfortunately, I never got attached to the main characters and didn't feel invested in their story, as a result. I never warmed up to the male lead, Hawke, because he's kind of a disrespectful asshole to the female lead, Amy, throughout the entire book. I didn't care too much for Amy because she seemed to be flighty and with nothing more than dandelion fluff between her ears. I also never saw how these two characters would end up falling for each other due to their completely opposite personalities. I thought this book lacked an emotional connection between Amy and Hawke as well. There were a lot of physical connections being made which is the reason this book got a 3 star review instead of a 2 star rating. The sex scenes were so hot and the best part of the book. Overall, I'm not saying that people shouldn't read this book or that I hated it but rather that this story couldn't make me care what happened, one way or another, to the main characters.

If you want a quick and easy read this is the book for you. The drama was the bare minimum, it doesn't have triggers of any kind and the characters are very likable. The book is stand alone and I have the feeling that other books will follow because some of the secondary characters were too good and they need a story.
