When I crashed on this planet fifteen thousand years ago, I thought that my friend—the living spaceship Sleipnir—was destroyed. But it turns out the mysterious signal I’ve been receiving for the past nine years is his cry for help. It’s led me back to Romania, back to the mountain I almost died on, and—just maybe—back to the legendary being who once saved my life

So, you see the length of this short and wonder why? It's a necessary elaboration about Viktor's early days, after waking up in the Carpathians, told as a story to Kira. After reading this, you will understand more fully Viktor's bond with his ship, Sleipnir. Well done, and completely worth a couple bucks.

Shorter than I liked, but nice to have more information from the MC's past.

Fascinating peek into a glorious world.

This is a short story based in a complex and magical world of urban fantasy. God's and monsters roam the streets and heroes are few and far between.
Two brand new heroes in his two new series explore mythos and magic.
And this, although brief, is a fascinating glimpse again into the world and imagination of Mr Lange.

This is a mind bending series. I'm just gonna start with that. Next, I'm gonna tell you to scope out the author's web page. It will clue you in to what started this whole adventure of the Stone Born. Normally, I really don't mention much about the web sites, but this one is rather cool. Anyway, back to the series. It's got time travel, a spaceship, supernatural creatures, ancient beings and mythological connections-pretty much something for everyone. That's the series, though. The short story is ...more
