Where do I start?
I suppose that, first, I need to make it clear that I loved this book.
PS: This does not end in a cliffhanger but if you don't read the second book.. you're losing out! Big time, cause, while this book was great to establish the couple and the individual leads. The second book is the one that really knocks it out of the park. That's the one you have to devour.
Why does it only get 4 stars? Because it was not perfect. And just so that I can save the best for last, I'm g ...more

A reread but of course, I forgot everything that happened, because my brain is just incapable and fails me on that front.
Which I appreciated because I got to enjoy this story all over again as well as for the first time.

I get why everyone adores Kennedy Ryan now.

to be honest the first 50% to 60% of the book was a little slow, and the rest was too cliched for my taste. but you know what?? i was not bored at all. i think the audiobook helped a lot. grip's narration was — "BRAVO!!" salute to mr. jakobi diem!!

Grip was just incredible. God, this story.... I'm steel reeling. I just finished it a mere hours ago and I'm still not over it. I don't think I will be for days. The writing was so, so good. Some moments were really intense. The characters where strong, emotions were present, and they behaved like normal people! And I felt like I could feel everything Grip and Bristol were going through.
