New to the city, Finn never dreamed he’d have a mate of his own, especially not one found at the Kennel Klub, where spankings are optional.

Sweet beta werewolf Finn is at a party for his cousin’s collaring when he first meets Cort. It’s just too bad Finn has to leave with his twin brother and packmates before the two can really connect.

Cort, Alpha male all the way, is i

I enjoyed this second book in the aptly named 'Klub Kennel' series as much as the first, but while the theme is the same (lonely submissive finds a Dom), the feel was quite different. Finn is totally naive, not just in sexual matters, and Cort has to significantly adapt his expectations and the way he deals with Finn's needs and fears. The story is cute and entertaining, with only very little BDSM content. The focus is on the development of the relationship between Finn and Cort, and I really li ...more
EH.. This book sounded like it was going to be great but not so much. It was just so slow and dragged on and on and on. And they didn't even touch on any BDSM until almost the very end.
This author is top notch in my opinion but this book just didn't do it for me. I think part of the reason is that Finn seemed to have very Little personality other than childlike. Which doesn't really fit well with a book and series like this.
Finn's twin pat seemed interesting though. He at least had a personali

Pack and Mate by Sean Michael is the second book in the Kennel Klub Series. I can say I have some really mixed feelings about this book. Would I like this book if I had never read a Sean Michael book? Yes very much, it hits all the points you want a good paranormal read to have. Now I am a Sean Michael book stalker so I have some mixed feelings. Why you ask? Well there is a certain level of sensuality and edge that I love about Sean Michael’s works. That edge is missing in this story. At first ...more

Moving to the big city, Finn feels like a fish out of water, but he soon finds Cort, his mate who is clearly very different from him in this erotic, m/m shifter romance. The story is a quick and enjoyable read and there are lots of intriguing characters and the setting of the Klub for weres sets up lots of possibilities, but I have to say that I am not sure what to think of this story. The story is cutsey (don’t know if that’s the right world, but it’ll have to do) while at the same time being e ...more

REVIEW: Pack and Mate by Sean Michael is the second book in the Kennel Klub Series.
There was a balance of understanding and kindness inside of Cort balances well with Finn who wants to make people happy. They really do complete each other on the emotional playing field. Finn has a hard time in the beginning of mating, to let others help with his packmates.

Finn arrives with his pack brothers who have all been set adrift by their home pack. There is only one potential alpha in the group and his nerves are wearing thin. But an encounter with Cort sets all kinds of things in motion personally for the two of them. But it also looks like the club with the help of Kyle will take the others under his wing as well.

Review written for Love Bytes Reviews.

Pretty much coming straight off of the first book, I have to say that this second installment of the series was a surprise. Finn’s story just has a completely different feel to it, if that makes sense. Having been kicked out of his original pack, along with several others, Finn is forced to move to the city and is finding himself overwhelmed by all the changes. Meeting Cort is a welcome surprise and leads to changes, not only for Finn, but for his fledgling

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs.
