Spilled Words: The Crimson Kiss Quote Collection

Rate this book
In Spilled Words, Cici.B delivers a filterless snapshot of her love, pain, growth and resolve. Her trademark wittiness seamlessly blends with a familiar approach, yet entirely new format to her writing. It is a story unlike any other in that it is made up entirely of quotes, but still somehow paints a beautiful and complete picture. If actions speak louder than words, her latest piece shows that she not only lives and breathes her words, she bleeds and spills them unapologetically onto the page.

Felt all of her words on every page. She has posted most of these words, if not all on Instagram.

I really enjoyed it. It tugged at my heart strings a lot due to how similar her experience was to mine. And it allowed me to see how poetry and written words can be more than the concise and structured type of text I am used to seeing.

It feels as if she ripped her words out of my soul and put them on paper. Amazing book.

CiCi’s writing is so real; so raw. People who have not gonna through situations similar to hers may not connect with her words the same way those who have, do. For me .... all the feels ... and much needed boost of strength and encouragement.

So so good! I felt these words, especially the last chapter, to my core.
