The Acts of the Apostles, often referred to simply as Acts, is the fifth book of the New Testament; it tells of the founding of the Christian church and the spread of its message to the Roman Empire.

This is one of my favorite books of the Bible. It speaks of the Apostles acts of healing, preaching the Word and teaching how to conduct one'self as a follower of Jesus Christ. I recommend all read this book to strengthen your faith.
Acts the Apostles. A Pastor once said that this should be called Acts of the Holy Spirit. It gave the account of Jesus' appearance to His disciples instructing them to tarry/wait for the Holy Spirit. They received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. The change in them was quite evident. The boldness of Peter when he spoke, the same Peter who denied Christ because he was afraid. Peter transformed into one who spoke the gospel of Jesus boldly, he was not afraid of being beaten, thrown into prison or even killed, a major transformation.
We saw the replacement of Judas who betrayed Jesus. We saw Stephen a man that was filled with the Holy Spirit being stoned and like Jesus before his death he asked God to forgive those that murdered him.
The account was given of Paul's conversion from a Pharisee who persecuted Christians to a devoted follower of Christ. After Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus he was changed. His mind was renewed to the point where he was totally sold out to preaching the gospel of Christ. He was stoned, beaten, shipwrecked and imprisoned yet he continued to declare the name of Jesus anywhere he got an audience. Even in the presence of King Agripa who he perceived to believe, Paul preached and tried to convert him to become a Christian.
Several healing and miracles were seen. Thank God for the Holy Ghost. Bless be the name of Jesus!
This book provides so much insight into the transformation the Lord can do within every single person, no matter their past mistakes. The dramatic transformation of Sauls heart, from killing Christians to being content with being persecuted for Christ, if it is Gods will for his life, demonstrates not only the ultimate forgiveness and love that Jesus has for us, but also the power that the Holy Spirit has within us that allows the Lord to guide us in his will for our lives, so that we may make his kingdom known.
The first book after holy gospel which is full of adventures by the apostles. The book starts with the Pentecost and show us how every apostle serve Jesus Christ in his own holy manner. Although the second part of the book is mainly about Paul. We read how the Catholic Church started to grow in entire Europe and Middle East. We also get familiar by the the Holy Spirit’s fiery baptism. It is one of the best books in the holy Bible and just like the holy gospels, I gave it full stars. The New Testament books are all great and I can’t give them four stars as they all deserve five stars… .
The book of acts has so many wonderful little gems in it. I’m really grateful for this book. Lots of exciting things: shipwrecks, stoning‘s, surviving a bite of a venomous snake, and so much more. May all who read it believe and repent of their sins.
