My rating may or may not change. Have some things to think about. This show was such an integral part of my teenage years that my expectations for content about the show are really really high. There were a few, maybe not mistakes in the authors' eyes, but at least a few things I found odd or inaccurate. Full review to come.
Another Buffy related read to add to my growing collection of everything Buffy. Not the greatest piece of literature but still, I do enjoy reading anything Buffy related. The drawings of the characters weren't the greatest. Also, Oz doesn't hate Tara and I really hated that in his hate column that her name was there.
Have you ever wanted to know how many vampires Buffy has actually slain? Now you can, thanks to Slayer Stats, an amazing infographic guide to the show.
It took Simon Gerrier and Steve O’Brien months to watch and rewatch (and rewatch again) every single episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but their heroic efforts have resulted in one of the coolest and most useful Buffy books in existence.
We’re a big fan of Buffy over here at Hypable, and doubly a fan of Buffy-related books. We’ve reviewed the official grimoire, as well as the uncensored, unauthorized oral history of the show. We even reported on the middle grade book series that’s currently in the works.
Even though the official grimoire is one of my favorite Buffy books to come out of this resurgence of interest in the show, Slayer Stats is a very close second. You don’t even have to crack open the cover to get some awesome statistics about the show — there have been 7 sirings on screen, 161 dustings, and 574 deaths. Buffy herself has killed 132 vampires and there are a whopping 15 episodes in which no one dies.
hmmm -is this fiction or nonfiction? it is stats (nonfiction) on a fictional universe - so I went with both. This is only for the hard-core Buffy fan. Fun, silly, and chock-full of interesting information about the series.
An infographic in depth look at all things Buffy. This book is so fun! Yes I am biased because I love this show, but it’s such a neat concept of a book. It’s so very enjoyable and I even learned some things!
Such a beautifully illustrated book. Lots of key facts, some already known and some new. Just makes me nostalgic and desperate for a Buffy marathon. Good times.
I'm a buffy fan and I enjoyed finding out facts and info that I never knew (or did) bout the show and makes me want re-watch the show again and compare the two again.
