really handy little guide to MANY different forms of printmaking - i learned a ton reading this and really appreciated how in-depth it was despite covering so much ground. intaglio printing and lithography are forever going to make my head spin, but i feel like i have a grasp on the basics now which is much more than i had before! i knew a fair bit of the info covered on relief printing, but there were some really useful registration tips as well as great info on types of papers. if you're looking for a good basic manual to learn more about printmaking as an artform, written by a master printmaker with a ton of experience in the field, this is it! i read it through twice and took notes and would definitely recommend the same approach to others - lots to be learned here.

This was better than the last printmaking book I read but still not really as detailed as I'd like. There was one page on lino cutting which is probably the one most people will be having a go at, at home. Some useful advice and examples.
