Scarlett's car had left her stranded at the side of the road. Wolf was the good samaritan who rode up on his Harley to give her some much-needed assistance. Their attraction and connection was instantaneous. Wolf wanted Scarlett to be his and vice versa. Problem: due to a rule laid out by the founders of the Hell's Lovers MC Club, the club Wolf is now Prez of, officers children were off limits and Scarlett's dad was the originating sergeant-at-arms.

Insta-lust and insta-love. Hot sex. A little bit of plot mixed in. This story was enjoyable and entertaining. I liked it and you better believe I'll be staying tuned for Grayson's book. He's Wolf's best friend and VP of the Club and his love interest is Rahyne, Scarlett's BFF. The preview at the end was hot AF!!

So, I have said many times before I'm kind of a perv when it comes to books.

This is a First Person with alternate POVs. Scarlett's and Wolf's. It's a short book mainly introducing The Hell's Lovers MC and setting up the rest of the series. There's lots of insta-lust/insta-love. Lots of wanting to play "hide the salami". Sure, I had some quibbles. But mainly those could be just my quibbles. All down to personal taste, I suppose. For example, I didn't like the squirting during sexy times. I could do with out it. I could also do without the Wolf's inner wolf.. His thoughts on how his inner wolf wanted a mate had me thinking initially that he's a werewolf. But all in all it was a quick fun read and for a first time author not bad at all. Yes, it needs some fine tuning but I think Crimson Syn has potential and room to grow.

If you feel like a quick smutty read, go for it.

This is some mean insta-lust, that turns to insta-love. Frankly, Scarlett Chase (23) and Wolf Stone (33) wanted each other too fast, and their dialogue was too...weird and 'deep' considering I don't/didn't(?) know them. Specially not on a personal level, and it just felt wrong. The book's pretty much missing the personal touches; you gotta know them to connect. Like in this example, which happened too soon (38% in a 114 pages book) in the book:
“I don’t want to leave. I want to stay here. With you.”
He growled and leaned his body into mine. “Me too, gorgeous. Oh God, me too.”
He practically pried himself away from me and met my eyes. “But I can’t. I can’t do this to you. I’m not worth it, Scarlett. None of this is.”
I shook my head as he stepped away but this time I stayed with him, gripping onto his jacket. “Don’t! Don’t pull away. I want this. I want you.”

I have a feeling that it is time jumping and that we're missing the in between; the getting to know them. The characters, the couple, the friendships. Not feeling any of them. Weeks goes by and we don't get to know what happen in those weeks. Also, Scarlett wanting to quit her job because Wolf doesn't want to (can't) get it on? Wrong. Scarlett, hun, you suck it up and do your job. You definitely don't just quit, or say that you do. I mean, it almost sounds like blackmail:
“I need you to lift my skirt, bend me over that desk, and take me hard, Wolf. If you’re not willing to do that then I’m gone.”

Overall; this could actually have a good read for me but since there was insta-love (though I was prepared), the personal touches one need to connect with the characters weren't there and the dialogue not fitting in, I just couldn't get into the book, nor could I like it. Oh and the book was missing some of the “” in some sentences. And I should probably mention that I didn't get turned on by Wolf. I didn't feel his power or the alpha male he's supposed to be. Honestly, he's seemed a bit..dumb/or less smart at times? And although this is a MC book, I didn't feel the MC, at all...
“If there ever existed a true, predatory alpha male, then Wolf Stone was it. The son of a bitch was sinfully hot and he knew it. Arrogant, dominating, and as the leader of Hell’s Lovers, he was ultimately dangerous.”

Quick basic facts:

Love this! I really love MC books especially if they are safe like this one. I really liked the hero Wolf even though he did push he stayed faithful and only wanted the h. I really like the h as well. She knew what and who she wanted and went after it. Completely safe and extra hot! I also loved that we didn’t have to read about future heroes being whores so that was definitely a plus! Little epilogue as well

I was itching for a MC story and this one worked well enough. Wolf and Scarlet were not supposed to happen- it was against the rules. But, after unsuccessfully pushing her away, Wolf knew he had to take whatever chance he had to in order to make her his.

I liked Wolf. He didn't come across as a manwhore- thank God! He even had a thought when he first met her that "he'd been alone for way too long". So often in a MC club the hero can't have the heroine for whatever reason and he bangs anyone else he can get his hands on- you know because he is a man *insert dramatic eyeroll here*. That shit doesn't fly with me. Although it was never flat out said that he wasn't with anyone else, the fact that he hadn't been with anyone in a while plus little comments here and there (example -one night after he pushed her away, he said to himself it was another night alone) led me to assume that he wasn't.

Scarlet was a lawyer who took a job with the club. Not only was she attracted to Wolf but he offered her a lot of money to do the job. Although her dad was a founding member of that club, he sheltered her and she was clueless of the fact. She pushed Wolf right back when he would push her away (even an impromptu strip tease). Finally her pride had taken too many hits and she was done. It took that backbone to straighten Wolf out.

-no ow/om drama - Scarlet saw him in the club when he was talking to a woman who he had dated in the past but he didn't touch her or anything, he was laughing. Actually, the scene was totally unnecessary IMO. It added nothing to the story. There was no interaction with this woman in the story again so I can't even consider it drama.
-Wolf pushed her away for way too much of the book. 56% in was when he finally gave in. That's a long time for a book this short.
-steamy sex scenes once he finally caved
-good secondary characters - even though there were scenes in the club that women and guys were having sex etc. None of them were the main guys mentioned which was good. I don't want to read about future heroes being skanky manwhores.
-just ok epilogue one year out. it definitely left me wanting more.

*The next book out is about Grayson and Scarlet's best friend. I'm interested but it seems like yet another book where one is pushing the other away (this time being the heroine pushing away the hero) so I will wait and hear how long that lasts

This is well written but I was hoping for more of an Alpha read.

- Hero was not an Alpha. He wanted heroine but refused to go after her
- Heroine had to beg for Hero’s attention
- Both MC’s are faithful.
- No abuse
- Safe read

On the way to work one day Scarlett's car stops, waving down a biker Scarlett meets Wolf. Wolf is everything Scarlett could ever dream of and when he helps her with a ride and a bite to eat and then finds out Scarlett is an attorney Wolf does everything he can think of to convince Scarlett to work for his MC.

Wolf is the president of the Hell's Lovers MC. Seeing Scarlett he knows right away he wants her and making her their attorney is just the start of what Wolf wants from her and then he finds out who Scarlett really is and no matter how much he wants her Wolf can't have her. Scarlett is not one to take no for an answer so when Wolf makes it known they can never be she pulls out all the stops.

I really liked this one, It a light but hot read. It was fun it's nothing complicated, and I say that in a good way, sometimes you want a fun book that just takes you away and into a fun place and thats what this book did. It's also a quick read but a complete story, I wouldn't have minded a little more Scarlett and Wolf time so we could have seen more of them falling in love but it didn't feel like the story was rushed.

I really liked Wolf he is a strong possessive hero who knew what he wanted. Scarlett was it for him and he knew no one else would do. Scarlett is a smart strong woman and I liked her too. There were a few instances that weren't for me in this book but I know I am very picky at times. Nothing huge but I wish when Scarlett had seen a woman flirting with Wolf her response had been different. I also am not a fan of public sex turning on a heroine or hero. Yes I know I am picky like I said. these scenes were very quick and weren't in great detail, and again I know I am being picky.

All in all I really enjoyed this one. It's another great summer fun read, especially when we are looking for those fun fast books in between those longer and sometimes more complicated/emotional/or stressful reads. This is a fun start to a new series and though I haven't read anything from this author before she did a great job of pulling me in to this story and world she created.

*Thank you Crimson Syn for this Arc for my review.

3 debut author, thank you for writing, sharing your talent and letting me ramble about how I feel about it stars.

This review is my honest opinion based on an ARC I received.

Safe instalust/instalove biker romance

I see some great potential for the type of stories I gravitate to with this author but I probably should have asked more questions going into it than I did. I saw that the author was an Alexa Riley fan who is known for safe sexy as shit romances and jumped right in. I enjoy alpha men and the overall fantasy of the “perfect” love but I do not tend to enjoy MC romances mostly because of the “honey’s, club whore’s” and general overall lack of respect towards women that enjoy sex these type of books tend to portray and the slap of double standard in my face that seems so prevalent.

So going into this with a new author after I read what it was about. I was hesitant but hopeful. Unfortunately it strayed into exactly why I have an issue with MC romances. During the epilogue the h says about the clubwhores “sheep being only good for one thing” and that killed quite a bit of my enjoyment of the storyline the first run through. So byline, here's the thing.. I don't care about the slut shaming movement.. If you do not like people that fuck around no problem that's your thing personally I see a walking STD. However, if you only have a problem with WOMEN that sleep around then I have a problem with that. It's hypocritical and mind boggling that someone with a penis is perfectly ok being a whore but god forbid you have a vag. Anways enough on my society rant of ridiculousness. Back to the book.

The second read through in order to post the review was better and I enjoyed it more knowing the storyline and no longer being distracted by things that were niggling at me.

The book was exactly what it seemed to set out to be. So if you like MC romances and instalove that stay on the side of tame this is a good book for you.

Look below for a more detailed outline of what I had issues with or what I think could be enhanced on if the writer cares otherwise ignore it. These will have spoilers.

Things I liked:
Strong h- she knew what she wanted and went after it
alpha h
instalove

all in all solid first book.

Also nice hot sex scenes (where my creepy thumbs up button)

Wolf by Crimson Syn is a steamy novella. Scarlett Chase is determined to live her own life by her own rules until she experiences car trouble and is stranded. She meets Wolf when he stops to lend his hand. Everything changes for Scarlett immediately. Scarlett is curious about the biker and agrees to work for him as his lawyer. Wolf soon discovers that he cannot be involved with Scarlett. The attraction is undeniable and unstoppable. The author cleverly shares their thoughts via their individual points of view. The primary and secondary characters have strong and distinct voices. This quick read is character driven. A perfect read for a lazy afternoon.

The men are sexy, their thoughts are dirty. This is one romance I actually enjoyed reading. It's steamier then a steam room, I loved how the author built her characters, I did think she lacked world building, but even with the lacked world building I felt entranced I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Now I don't normally enjoy books that are this sexually charged, but for the extreme rare occasion I liked this one. Overall It could use work, a great read for Erotica Romance Fans.

Holy shit, I absolutely devoured this book. I mean, I knew I would. As soon as my girl Aly agreed to buddy read this with me, literally a few hours ago, I read this book start to finish. It is just over 100 pages. But still! So damn good!

Scarlett finds herself the lawyer of the infamous Hellbound Lover's MC. You go through the course of this book learning how Scarlett and Wolf, alpha-male-hot-as-shit Prez of the Lovers, get to the place their in relationship. The book starts out as Scarlett already being the lawyer for the MC and it basically takes you through a giant flash back from a year ago and how they get together.

Wolf is so sweet and kind, even when he's completely alpha male. I loved the story so much and definitely am super excited to get right into Gray's book! :D

First read, March 2018

Let me start off by saying Wolf is one of my favorite new book boyfriends! He was just so kind and caring throughout the entire book! He was considerate. And he was all around a really good character. I couldn't help but fall in love with him! :D

Scarlett was a well written character as well.

This was a really good book to throw you into the storyline that continues on throughout all the next books. I'm not normally one for MC switching books. But I am really in love with this series so far!

And the smut. Man, that shit is HOT HOT HOT!

Wish the books were longer. But whatevs. :D

Loved Wolf!!

Omg this book was so good! Okay, so Wolf is a dual POV from Scarlett and Wolf. They were both such well written characters and the sexual tension/chemistry was off the charts! Okay so Wolf is the president of this bike gang, The Hellbound Lovers and boy is he good looking. Swooning up and down while reading this book. Then there's Scarlett, who is an attorney who was recently hired by Wolf. Then they started teasing around each other and things lead to other romantical things. However, there's one stupid rule: family is forbidden. Which means that Scarlett was forbidden.

Hell, I love forbidden romances - so of course I ate this book up. Doesn't help that it was like 100 pages - I WANTED MORE! I loved how they had to ask permission and then do a whole voting thing to let Wolf and Scarlett even have a relationship that eventually lead to marriage.

Now I did think the whole marriage thing happened way too fast. I mean, they didn't even date for like a month.. maybe even a week? I have no idea - it just seemed to move way too fast. Other than that, I loved Scarlett's mom in this book! I wish we got more of her but she was such a spitfire and I adored the scenes she was in.

Overall, I really loved and enjoyed the book. I'm hooked onto this series. I'm so freaking happy I found it anomaly on kindle and I'm happy that so many people wanted to buddy read it! YAY! Can't wait for Grayon's book!!

A Fast Paced Ride!

As president of the Hell's Lovers MC, Wolf Stone can have any woman he wants, with one exception. When Wolf finds a gorgeous woman stranded on the side of the road he is immediately drawn to her and wants to make a claim, but he'll settle for hiring her as the club's lawyer. Scarlett Chase is unlike any of the women in Wolf's life. She is smart, confident and self-assured and she has decided she wants Wolf, rules be damned.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I really enjoyed it. The writing style flows smoothly and the character development is on point. I look forward to reading the next book in this series and meeting more of the Hell's Lovers MC.

4 stars.

This book checked off so many of my favorite story tropes, I mean a lot of them, and I loved it.

Scarlett is broken down on the side of the road and Wolf (love the Red Riding Hood inspired names) comes roaring up on his motorcycle and helps her out. The attraction is instant with these two, they both want each other and it's obvious. However when they get into town Wolf discovers something about Scarlett that slams the brakes on any kind of relationship and puts Scarlett firmly in the forbidden category, but he does ask her to be his/his clubs personal lawyer.

The back and forth and the teasing Scarlett does to drive Wolf insane was fun to read. She wants him and I really enjoyed that about her. She doesn't hem and haw, she wants him and she'll have him. And he's going to crack, you know he's going to crack and I could hardly wait.

Was their romance a little (a lot) quick, yes. But sometimes (most of the time) I love that instant attraction/insta-love in these shorter offerings.

There were some word choice/wrong word used issues in the last 30-40 pages that did take me out of the story occasionally but I'm sure those will be fixed in the released copy.

This was a really fun, quick read. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I was pulled right into this story. This story has laughs, lust, forbidden love, and forever.

This is Scarlett and Wolf's story. Wolf wanted Scarlett from first sight. But she is forbidden to him. One touch and he will lose everything. Wolf is Scarlett’s obsession. She wants him but he is fighting the attraction. He is about to lose his fight. Scarlett is about to come at him with everything she has. She wants him no matter what. What she does not realize is he wants her just as much and the thought of losing everything no longer matters. Can they two be together? After one touch they are never going to be the same. Get ready for the touch as it’s about happen and no one cares for the damage it could cause.

I recommend this book and anything by this author.

First time reading anything by Crimson Syn (love that name) Can't wait to read more from Crimson. Well done. I would say of the biker dude series books I have read ... this has bits of harsh-ness but not that rough. There is a tenderness to Crimson's writing style. Which I so enjoy! Not that there are not raw and rough parts, Hope that makes sense? It has bits of rough & raw-ness ... but Wolf (Mr. President of the biker dudes or "Hell's Lovers") seem to have a tenderness about him while around Scarlett. I can't wait to read about Grayson ... he is one of my favorite characters. Love Scarlett's mom ("Regina") she is tough woman (I was going to say bitch, mean that in a good way, or best way ever. I think that word can come cross way to harsh from some folks.) She is a no take cramp kind of lady, Love ladies who are like that, they have such character or style. Don't mess with her, don't cross her, she's got your back and all that kind of motherly kindness in there too, but don't mess with her either or she might just stab ya in the back. LOL!! I think Crimson can go far in this series. GOOD LUCK! Must read if you are a biker gang person, brotherly together, I enjoyed the read!! Well done! ( ;

I love a good MC story and Wolf and Scarlett's story was a page turner all the way through. We start off with Wolf being the good samaritan that he is stopping to help Scarlett on the road due to her car breaking down, we soon find out he's President of the Hell's Lovers MC. Things only only pick up from there. I don't want to give anything away so I'm just going to say that if you enjoy bikers, sexy lust scenes and even a bit of drama then you'll enjoy this story. This is book 1 of the series and I'm hoping to have some questions answered in Grayson's story next, I can't wait to read more about these men and their club. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

I loved Wolf and Scarlet's story. This was a fun, quick, insta-love romance - that was hard to put down. Scarlet and Wolf have great chemistry and both knew what they wanted. They are both strong characters that were relatable. The plot was great and fast paced - it drew you into the whole MC club - and I can't wait to read other books in this series. I was gifted a copy for an honest review - and I highly recommend this book/series - if you enjoy hot alpha men and the women they fall for, MC reads, or just great writing.

What a great start to an MC series. It’s a short quick read but packed with lots of romance and club action that will give you a good insight of things to come.

As appropriately named, this is Wolf’s story. The sexy, bad to the bone biker, who is the current president of the Hell’s Lovers MC. He lives for three things: the club, his brothers and his woman (and not necessarily in that order). I highly recommend this book and what looks to be the beginning of a hot MC series. 2 Thumbs Up!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What a great way to introduce us to this new MC romance series. It starts with the President known as Wolf who saved a stranded lawyer in the side of the road only to hire her. Just as the attraction is really heating up a secret comes between them that just might keep them apart. The solution was rather ingenious I must say showing the true integrity of this group that has been created. I recommend it to fans of the genre. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Men can be a little slow when it comes to hints, although Scarlett is anything but subtle. She wants to be with Wolf more than anything, willing to go to just about any length to get his attention. It takes a lot of courage to put it all out there, and Scarlett is not about to give up without a fight. Her perseverance is such a delicious tease; you are going to love seeing Wolf suffer.

What a naughty and fun read this was!

The short and sexy book centers around Scarlett, a lawyer, and Wolf, an MC President. The story begins with Wolf rescuing a stranded Scarlett whose car had broken down by the side of the road. From the moment they meet the chemistry is instant, but when Wolf finds out who she is, he realises he has to stay away or risk his position in the Club.

The story was well paced, and the writing flowed well and had me engaged from start to end, I ended up reading this in one sitting. If you're looking for a short, sexy, naughty MC read with some good dialogue and push-and-pull between characters, then this is the Novella for you.

This was the first story I've read by Crimson Syn, but it definitely won't be the last as I'm already looking forward to Grayson's story.

OMG...Wolf is one yummy MC! This book is well written with a fast paced storyline that will have you turning page after page to see what happens. This is a short read so thing happen very fast, which I actually like. Even if the leads fell for each other rather quickly, I still liked it. No, I loved it, every single minute of it.

The characters are well written and quite well defined and well developed. The lead characters are likable and you just can't help falling for them (even the supporting brothers in this story will have you drooling). Wolf is the president of the Hell's Lovers MC and he meets Scarlett on the side of the road when her car breaks down. His wolf wants her and so does he. He's built, tatted and is hot as hell and he is all alpha male. Scarlett is a young attorney and she sees what she wants in Wolf. One tiny problem lies between them, one that Wolf finds out but Scarlett has no idea about. Her father was the Sargent at Arms for the MC before his death and he had set a rule for the members. One that if broken could cost Wolf EVERYTHING!

This is a great read and I not only Highly Recommend it, but cannot wait to read Grayson's story next and see what happens with the trouble they are having with a gang that is tied up with a cartel. This is getting sooooo good! Hurry and grab it and catch up with the Hell's Lovers!!

SMOKIN HOT!
I fell instantly in love with Wolf. He's a gorgeous, mysterious and sexy alpha male who happens to be the President of the Hellbound Lovers MC. The first time he lays eyes on Scarlett he knows he has to have her but he doesn't know who she is. I love how the story progresses especially between Wolf and Scarlett. Their chemistry is off the chart smokin hot. Once Wolf finds out who Scarlett really is he fights his attraction to her but it gets harder and harder. She on the other hand doesn't want to fight it. She knows what she wants and she does everything in her power to seduce Wolf. You watch their feelings grow stronger and as they begin to fall in love and after a lot of resistance from Wolf he finally can't take it anymore. Scarlett is so hot for him she gives him an ultimatum he can't resist. My only complaint is how the story suddenly jumps from a crucial point to the epilogue. We miss what would normally be one of the most romantic parts of the story. And when the story starts heating up between the Hellbound Lovers MC and Tuco and the Los Perdidos. The suspense starts to build and I was expecting the excitement and the intensity of the story but am very disappointed when it doesn't come. I did enjoy the book but it most definitely left me wanting more. So I'm hoping we get more from the next book. I highly recommend this book but be warned there is a big jump in the story leaving out, in my opinion very wonderful part of the story. Oh and did I mention the sex is freakin amazing.
