This is such a good reference guide to have in my collection. I will definitely be referring back to it this season.

It is one of the most easily understandable books on growing herbs I've ever read. I used the ideas for transplanting this morning to put in tomato, pepper, basil, and eggplant transplants. Easiest time doing this ever. One drawback is her advice on chemical fertilizers.

This is a detailed book for the beginner herbalist. The author details how the plant will grow and which type of plant is best for you to try. If you live in a small space such as an apartment, this book is for you. You don't require a lot of supplies; everything is simple to manage.

I think better books have been written explaining growing methods. As for the using part of the title, it doesn't give much.
