Alright, now who doesn't love a sexy Irishman?? I know I do!! Especially when he's a man like Conor. I could've easily climbed this guy like a pole after getting to know the man behind the initial flirty, devil may care, attitude that he gives Clover.
Although I didn't exactly agree with the way that these two got together, given that Conor was basically deceiving Clover from the very beginning, I quickly learned that while their relationship started as a casual fling, it had without a doubt turned into something deeper very fast.
Clover when into the thing between them with her walls up, and I absolutely understood why. My heart broke for her that she'd had such a crappy time in her life, and that she literally felt that she was nothing but bad luck. I hated it. She was such a phenomenal girl- to have picked up her life, and flown half way around the world, just to see a rainbow, yeah, that's a chick I wanna know. So, I wanted her to finally get that piece of happiness that she was so overdue for.
I just had no idea that it would come in the form of Conor, the now reformed man whore, that fell hard and fast for his sweet Clover. But, I am so glad that it did.
Frankie Love did a great job with this book, much like all of hers that I have read so far. I can't say anything bad about it, and recommend it to anyone looking for a little Irish magic and luck for this St. Patrick's Day!!
5 stars!!
