Salvation at Sunset is book 5 in the A McGinty's of San Antonio Series. Yes, this is part of a series but this book I think it can easily be a stand alone. Characters from the other books in the series due make appearances in this book.

Garrett has demons. Not only from war but from his upbringing. He's so afraid that once Bella knows everything that he'll lose her.

Bella is one very strong woman. The saying behind every good man is a strong woman would characterize Bella.

It is very interesting as

Hate is learned not hereditary

This is book 5 of the series. I do recommend reading them in order to know what is going on. This book is about Bella. She is a young girl who said no to a not nice guy. Tad the not nice guy didn't like that and roughed her up and used his mother's influences to scare Bella. After she graduated college and moved home those threats got bigger. Until she meets Garrett. Garrett is a soldier suffering from PTSD from his time in the military as well as his life before.

“Noah, a family friend, and our Fed Ex man, backs in the door pulling a dolly. “Hey Noah,” I chirp in my best cheerful voice. I rush around the counter when I see how loaded down with our inventory order he is. “Hey, bebita,” he responds. I hold the door open as he clears the entry. I smile and shake my head as he continues, heading into our storage area. “You here alone?” Noah calls out. He’s noticed my parents’ car wasn’t parked in its usual spot out front. “My parents are meeting with a clien ...more

This is another amazing book in this series. Again this one carries on from the other ones in this series it is just about a different couple. I absolutely fall in love with each different couple as you read through their stories. This one is about Bella and Garrett. Bella goes through something absolutely terrible at the beginning of the story. She feels like she is dealing well with it and everything was going to finally be ok. But we know that yep that isnt going to happen. Garrett has his ow ...more

"Hate is learned not hereditary."
Salvation At Sunset brought me to my knees pure and simple! As many books that I've personally read this past year, I'm not bragging, but I've read a lot, none have hit me this hard! I'm not going to go into any details, because I'm not egotistical enough to think that I could do it even a tenth of justice that it deserves. But know this, there's not an author that I've come across that has even tried to bring awareness to something this big with glorifying it, a
