I always used it for tests in school because I was afraid my calculator would break or when advanced calculators were not allowed. It gave me peace of mind.

It's strange to say that it's well written given how little there is to it, but it always has the formula I'm looking for, and unlike a behemoth like Abramowitz and Stegun it doesn't have what I don't need.
