I really loved this series. There isn't a book in the entire series that didn't capture my attention and hold it throughout. Real life issues were handled deftly with a touch of fantasy. The crux of each book is a love of community and what that community can do when working together. From the very first book which describes a dying, bitter, small town to this latest book the transformation is startling and a beauty to behold. All of the characters, with their unique challenges, touch your heart. Revisiting each of those beloved characters from book to book adds to the depth and enjoyment of each book. I sincerely hope that Ms. McKeehan continues writing more books in this wonderful series. I'm not ready to leave Pelican Pointe yet. Certainly, Scott Phillips still has much more work to do!

I just want Eleanor dead! Is that too much to ask? That one woman can put so many people through so much pain is beyond my imagination..and yet, Vickie McKeehan created such a character. Eleanor reminds me of Sante Kimes, pure evil.
In spite of it all, Caleb and Hannah find enduring love, and Andy and Faye get a big sister who they know will not quit on them.
Really, how many secrets are buried underground at Pelican Pointe?
I'm down to the last two books in this series, Keeping Cape Summer and Pelican Pointe Christmas. I sincerely hope Eleanor gets bumped off before Christmas.

Hope, Faith, Love and Scott Phillips. Ten Stories of Pelican Point

The folks of Pelican Pointe overcome adversity, never loose faith in what they believe and share a community life style I wish was a real find. Although after reading all ten books in order I was able to see the pattern evolve. A new comer to town, a love interest, a personal struggle and boundless love to conclude the story. The guiding energy of Scott brought comfort to me as a reader, knowing my belief in the spirit guardians was a major part of every story line. I truly enjoyed watching the town grow, adding services as the population increased.

I highly recommend, not just this book, but the entire series. Read in order enables the reader to see the town grow in multiple dimensions, keep track of all the characters and simply feel good about life.

What a twist!

I don’t know how she does it! This series manages to touch upon so many socially important threads while still weaving a tapestry of love and romance.

I will admit that I didn’t feel like Scott was given his due in this novel but as always, the ending fills you with so much hope and love that I’m willing to forgive the slight.

You know a book is good when you hurt when the protagonists do, revel in their joy, and look forward to hearing about their future.

Another Pelican Pointe favorite!

Another excellent story set in Pelican Pointe!

Add kidnappers, serial murders, long lost siblings to the wonderful existing cast of characters that call Pelican Pointe home - then throw in a bit of boy meets girl for good measure and you have another great installment of the Pelican Pointe series!

Getting answers from the past and going on to a nice future

Hannah has had one thing on her mind since she was 6 and both her parents were dead and that was to find her baby brother. 4 months ago scott was persistent about telling her to go to pelican pointe and when she got there she found that she was falling for caleb and together they were solving all kinds of mystery.

An excellent read

I loved this story about Hannah, Caleb, Molly and Micah. It's a soft romance with twists and turns into the minds of very disturbed people and solves some very old crimes. It's a great story that's hard to put down.

Another great book in the Pelican Pointe series

Beneath Winter Sand (A Pelican Pointe Novel Book 10) by Vickie McKeehan starts off with the murder/suicide of a young couple, the kidnapping of their baby boy and their 6 year old daughter is orphaned. Fast-forward 20 years and Hannah Summers, the orphaned daughter, has been trying to find her brother. Scott Phillips, Pelican Pointe's friendly ghost, visits Hannah and convinces her she might find answers in Pelican Pointe. This book pulls you right in and it’s hard to put it down.

I have yet to be disappointed by a book in this series and I hope there will be more.

The past won't leave these families alone.

A stranger comes to Pelican Pointe, brought here by of all things- a ghost. Hannah connects with Caleb right away, but they both have pasts that are haunting them. Throw in a buried baby, a truly psychotic mother, people looking for gold, long ago murders and kidnapping, stir well with great characters and locations, and you have all it takes to make another winner from Vickie.

Welcome Home! Back to Pelican Pointe, back to old friends, growing up, lives changing and mystery abound. I loved that Hannah didn't take any crap. She can be my friend any day. I don't remember Scott being such a, um, pain. I knew he didnt give all the answers, but sheese, hes coming into his own dishing it out. Everyone likes to hang out with freinds! Come to Pelican Pointe

Another wonderful moving story and novel by this talented author!

Every time I pick up a Pelican Pointe novel, strong feelings pop into my mind and into my heart! The vivid and detailed descriptions of both the town and the people combine to make me want to find and move to my own Pelican Pointe! I want to stay in the B&B, wander through town and visit the train store, the Chumash Museum and nursery, and talk to the many and diverse characters introduced in Ms. McKeehan's books. Walk the hiking trails and the beach, smell the gardens and the fresh air, all illustrated by this author's words!

This novel weaves in new characters, new lives and new histories -- even a 20 year old mystery -- to add to the mosaic that is this wonderful place! The dialogue is animated and expressive -- it puts me right there in places I've come to know with people I'm familiar and comfortable to be around! What an incredibly wondrous place to visit, even if it is only in my mind!
