Lavender Fields by Natalina Reis is paranormal romance story about love at first sight and the struggles that follow. This story will make you laugh, have compassion, suspense and of course romance. I love this author's stories as they are creative and engaging. Her ability to create characters that pop right of the page make the story can't put it down type book. They are connectable and they will pull you right into their world. You will need to see what happens to them and you will just plain ...more

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the M/M Romance Group's DBML program.
The book is very well written and easy to read. I was able to create a connection with Sky right away. He seemed to me like he messes up quite a bit which would be unexpected for an angel but works very well for the story. I also like how he relates to Caleb. Characterization for both MCs could have used a little bit more work. If we knew more about both Sky and Caleb, it would have been ea

The story Lavender Fields by Natalina Reis is a paranormal/romance book. This is a wonderful story with characters that touch your heart. It is the story of Sky and Caleb. Sky is an angel of death. He is sent to collect the souls of the recently departed. It is on one of his missions that he meets Caleb. To Sky it is love at first sight and it seems as if Caleb feels the same. Then Sky finds that Caleb is the one whose soul he is there to collect.
This book contains unsignposted torture. First-person, almost life destabilising torture. Fuck the author for that alone. If you are including torture use warnings. Now let regular service resume...
Angels are—well, angels. Yes, there are males and females, but there’s no such thing as a straight or gay angelic creature. We were made to love, and love has no gender. - Sky Heavensent

Lavender Fields starts off a breakneck pace. Sky and Caleb meet and fall instantly. Circumstances force them apart

Lavender Fields by Natalina Reis has been a brilliant and lovely read. Sky is an angel of death, sent to claim the souls meant for heaven. When he is sent for the soul of Caleb he becomes completely smitten with him and saves him instead. Knowing the consequences of his actions he is still unprepared for being put in the middle of something a bit more sinister. But Sky knows that, no matter what, he will protect Caleb at all costs.

I loved this story. The Angel aspect of it was great and made for

I give Lavender Fields by Natalina Reis 5 stars.

Sky Heavensent is an angel. Or more specifically, an angel of death. He collects souls of people who are bound for heaven. He is given a name one day and he heads to earth. As usual, he is flying too fast and crash lands into the sandy beach. He must have knocked himself out, because when he comes to, he is being stared at by 5 pairs of eyes. One pair of eyes doesn’t match, one green eye and one purple eye. Attached to those intriguing eyes is an a

I absolutely loved this book, a recommended read.
Sky a Heaven-sent angel is sent to earth to return home a soul. The soul belongs to Caleb, whose life is due to end today. This is where the story of Caleb and Sky begin, and when the Arc Angel Gabriel becomes angrier with Sky than he ever has been before.

Lavender Fields, by Natalina Reis is a story about love against all odds and following your heart even when everyone around you is telling you you’re wrong. It is the story of Sky and Caleb, their trial and tribulations, and ultimately of how they save each other.

Natalina Reis’ Lavender Fields tells the story of an angel who falls in love. With a human. Who he’s kind of supposed to be escorting to the afterlife.

Sky Heavensent (I cringed a little at the name but his surname isn’t mentioned too often so you can forget it I promise) is seen in the angel community as a bit of a liability - always flying too fast and getting himself hurt. His disregard for the rules, coupled with his huge attraction to the human Caleb Pierce, get him into a lot of trouble qui
Personal Review, I was asked to read this book by the author, that I write a review was not required.

Sky meets Caleb when he falls too fast and can't stop in time. And falls for Caleb. Problem is, Caleb is the soul Sky has been sent to collect. Sky can't carry out his job so another angel is sent. But Sky keeps saving Caleb, and the other angel keeps coming. Can they figure out why Caleb has been targeted?

I'm not one for instant professions of love, and it happens here, right in chapter one when

Lavender Fields by Natalina Reis – 5 stars

Lavender Fields is the third book I’ve read by Natalina Reis and it’s my favorite so far. It’s the story of Sky Heavensent (who is an angel of death), Caleb Pierce and his sister Joan. It’s an “angelic” romance with suspense and drama. This story also has a sense of humor about itself. Joan adds an interesting twist to the mix and I’m hopeful Ms. Reis writes Joan’s story in the future as that girl deserves a book of her own!

I really enjoyed this story. T

Lavender Fields is the first book I've read by Natalina Reis, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this story. Only told in the POV of Sky, we see his image on everything happening around him.
Sky is an Angel of death. He gets a name and place to collect the souls of humans who are going to heaven. He's also the angel who tests and pushes all boundaries and rules. When he crash lands on the beach and ends up meeting his target before the acc

This is a wonderful novel by this author. Lavender Fields is a story of angels. Yes angels. Even angels fall; fall in love that is. There are all kinds of different duties for angels too.
Sky Heavensent is an angel of Death. He is supposed to collect the souls of those that have just passed on and that is it. His supervisor archangel Gabriel and fellow coworker angels often see him as a burden and liability because they often have to cover up his mistakes. Sky loves to spread his wings a little

Sky is a luckless angel of death who always causes disaster. One day, he crashes on a beach from flying too fast. A group of humans save him and he falls in love with one of them, a man with purple eyes named Caleb who Sky saves instead of collecting his soul in a motorcycle accident. Sky’s boss Gabriel is furious and wipes Caleb’s memory. Despite this, Sky finds Caleb and forms a friendship with him and his sister Joan and they form new memories. Lavender fields is written by Natalina Reis. This was my first story by Natalina Reis so I was not sure what to expect I went into this blind based off of the cover. This is Sky’s story, and what a story it is. So sky has a rather interesting job and at times rather difficult. As the angel of death you would think his job would be pretty black and white collect the Soul and return it to heaven. Simple right? Well not if you’re sky, Sky seems to always do something wrong, mess something up, hes a ...more

Usually I like to clear the negative factors out of the way first, so I'll get to that right away. Not that there's much to point out.

Scenes kind of skipped around a bit too much for my liking, you could blink and suddenly events have changed. And there was some lacking of character description. But that is the only 'complaints' I have.

Now for the rest of the story. Oh man! It made me laugh. Literally. Like out loud, but luckily I was alone. Or would've been looked at like I was nuts. I tend to

Lavender Fields is the first book that I've read by Natalina Reis. And I have to say, I was completely surprised with the read.

I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading this book. Let me begin by saying that I did not read the synopsis, or other reviews. Which I don’t usually do. I like to know what I'm getting myself into. But for some reason, I didn’t this time. So to initially read: "you are the most beautiful man I have ever met."

This was so much more than I thought it would be. Sky is an angel who seems to find trouble. All accidental of course. His job to collect souls is one he struggles with. We meet Caleb aka Mr. Lavender Fields. They have an unbreakable connection. That is until Caleb get his mind erased.

This story was fun and creative. I loved learning about Sky’s job and what he had to do. Calebs sister, Joan, was witty smart and a wonderful addition to the story.

3.7 stars A fast paced story that started good, and told from Sky's POV. Includes love at first sight, danger and some horrible scenes, mystery and love. I liked Joan but oh boy she's a trooper for swear words lol. I felt some missing pieces of the story weren't included which wouldve made the story better. Also missing Caleb's thoughts into the story was needed. A good story with an okay ending.

Lavender Field by Natalina Reis is one of those books that will capture your heart with fantastic characters.
Natalina Reis is an author that I have slowly become familiar with over the past year and is an author that I have grown accustomed to being slightly unpredictable in her work. Every book I read by her is completely different to the last one I read which helps to keep her work refreshing.

This was an enjoyable book. I liked the story and the characters but I sometimes felt like there wasn't enough, like it was safe. It was written like the bones of a story that if more detail and more exploration was to happen it could be a magical reading experience. I found myself wanting to have Caleb's viewpoint as well as Sky's. I love paranormal and mm romances and especially love the mix of the two. This was a wonderful and unique read, I just wanted more.

Intriguing paranormal romance

I'm not sure if paranormal is quite the right word, more like fallen angel romance. It's definitely an interesting read, and the connection between Sky and Caleb is there, and definitely has a high heat factor. Human and angel, a dramatic romance, and adding in Joan as Caleb's sister, puts a spin on the story. I like that it's only one POV, and that is from Sky. His fall to earth, and what his job entails, even though he was off course, as an Angel of death. It's ful
