Nice, compact story. Krista is a witch who needs "recharges" to replenish her magic. She is a recruiter for a magical college (or something like that, I read this a few days ago and it's been an interesting week). Chase is a hot celebrity chef. However, Chase only has magic around the holidays and this is only time he can really rock the kitchen. Their magic is compatible, solving his and her magic issues. Krista's familiar, Bastian was fun.

Cooking up magic in the kitchen
What a sweet little Christmas story! I love that these two make a magical and emotional connection right away. How cute that Chase has been crushing on Krista for a year. It’s perfect that they need each other to survive and thrive. It’s like she was all he was waiting for to become his true self. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is really good. Great set up of backround and even though the relationship was extremely fast it still was very romantic and believable. It had a HEA, yeah!!!
