After the problems of the evil wizard, a dark and depressing witchhunt ensues on anyone who has a trace of power.

No magic to speak of in this one, just a depressing descent into madness for the kingdom. I hated this one. Unfortunately, in contains story elements necessary to the final book in the trilogy, which I absolutely love.
