The book is really disappointing, I was looking forward to reading it. The font size is terrible, the pages are not numbered, the structure is relatively poor. There are good ideas here and there but the presentation is terrible. This is NOT how men (should) write, highly recommend rediting the book.

Makes me want to be a better man

Despite the numerous typos and grammar errors Charles Sledge's message comes through loud and clear, men need to reclaim their masculinity. Filled with sage MAN advice i wish I'd had as a boy, this is a book every man needs to read!

Powerful

This book is a must read for all men, masculinity has fallen in society. You no longer see masculine men around on social media, movies and TV. Men are submitting to this soft society, we must turn back and go on our original way on how to be a man.

Great reminder of the role men play in our society. It is necessary for men to be strong, and the act of changing from a boy into a man does not simply happen with age. This is evident in our society by the number of "man-child" adults we have. Boys that have reached the age of manhood, but never stepped up to that position.

Charles Sledge (author) takes a more harsh approach to this topic than others might. This offers the reader good prospective. It's important to see topics from differing perspectives, and I applaud him in his approach.

Claiming the power and responsibility of a man does not mean disrespecting women, or anyone for that matter. It's just being the best man you can be.
