Marielle is a very talented mouse. In Paris, a city synonymous with fashion, Marielle is asked to create nine different dresses for Madame de Sooree's nine daughters. Marielle travels through the city, finding inspiration in many of the beloved landmarks of Paris. When tragedy strikes, Marielle enlists her friend Pierre the Pigeon to help. The story is a delight, yet the true star of the book is the art work. Sainte Marie depicts the City of Light with a whimsical yet accurate touch. MARIELLE IN ...more

Beautiful illustrations! Sweet story of a mouse who is a dressmaker, then a big wind blows all the dresses away. She must face her fear of heights with the help of her pigeon friend to try to find them all. Loved it!
