Hot! The author writes a very good book with twists & turns to hold your attention! She describe the characters very well! A lovely book to put on TBR pile.

Such a fun read, I loved it.

I enjoyed this story so much it has become one of my favorites. The characters personalities literally came alive on the page and Kenzie and Mitch's adventures and misadventures kept me entertained all the way through. I'm looking forward to Krissie's story next in book 2 of the Stubborn Hearts series.

Amazing book, literally speechless.
I like how it is not so cliche with the reasons as to why she doesn't want to ( or can't ) stay with him in the beginning but all ends well. It also has a great development as in it doesn't drag too much nor runs.
Great work

Nice read

Really enjoyable read. I know the relationship started with subterfuge but I liked both characters and the story was entertaining.

Having written numerous articles for a community newspaper for several years, I found it relatively easy imagining myself in Kenzie Matterson’s shoes. Being a sports reporter, I’d just love to know what a specific athlete is like off the playing field. So, when my twin sister, Krissy, offers me to take her place as the star All Rugby League star player’s [Mitch Wesson’s] date to his sister’s dream wedding on Fiji, I literally flung myself at the opportunity. And to pull this off, and to ...more

L. Maree Apps' debut novel, One Weekend Away, is a fun, sexy read with wonderfully relatable and well-developed characters. I would recommend for anyone that wants a great romance to sink your teeth into.

Kenzie needs a break from trying to build her career in the male-dominated field of sports journalism. When her twin sister, Krissy, offers her place as a blind wedding date, Kenzie can hardly refuse an all expenses paid trip to Fiji. Determined to have the fling only last the weekend, Kenzie
