Interesting correlation between the fields of economics and the Sexual Market Place (SMP). Although I was already familiarized with many of the concepts presented by the author it was a good refresher of definitions & key observations related to female behavior depending on where in life, she finds herself.
One thing that I got from this book is the fact that the burden of performance never ends for men; We're born with no value within the SMP, but we can build it up one step at a time through the years. With persistence & discipline a man can relocate himself from a position with a low value to one with very high sexual value as far as he continues to improve himself through different avenues such as, but not limited to: Improving his appearance (e.g., learning how to dress, good hair cuts, lifting weights), academic achievements, learning a second language, good jobs, real state, good vehicles, etc.
However, he also needs to be aware of the threats he will encounter in the SMP since as he improves himself, he will become the target of many women that are about to hit the wall or are post wall, who being aware of their diminishing SMV, move fast to secure a beta provider.
These are the very same women that in bygone years never gave him the time of day, but all of the sudden are showering him with attentions trying to secure the deal (i.e., marriage), but who are using deception to manipulate him since they're approaching him empty-handed, in other words, with nothing of value to offer since their valuable, but perishable physical attributes were given and enjoyed by others (Alpha fucks) who are reluctant to enter into a long-term relationship with them.
I highly recommend this book for those who are looking to understand female nature & psychology.
