I wanted to love this book, but about half way though it started to drag. I felt like it went from really good to stagnant. And then it was on hyperdrive, but at that point I had started to loose interest.

They went from dating to engaged in three days, Three! And I realize that they dated before, but there was reasons that they ended the relationship and even though they had been around each other I didn't feel like there was a reflectionary time period to devote the rest of a life time with th

What a fun return to Thunder Creek! I loved getting to see more of Brooklyn and Derek from the first book but especially seeing more of wise, spunky grandma Ruth. Samantha and Nick are so different from each other, but they're still feeling sparks despite having not seen each other since they broke up three years before.

I loved all the detail about the locations and scenes. Being able to feel like I've seen real scenery instead of just read some incidents in some folks's lives is a bug

A return to Thunder Creek Idaho and delightful hints, if you haven’t read You’ll Think of Me, and clues for those that haven’t, but for me I love this place the word pictures offered by the author make it breath taking.
Can two broken people that had a relationship put it back together, they end up states away from where they began, and now they end up in the same place at the same time, coincidence?

You're Gonna Love Me returns readers to the charming, small country town of Thunder Creek. Farmland, orchards, horses, fresh air and friendship - the charm of the setting seeps from the pages and infuses the story. This is a sweeping and relaxing love story. A story about forgiveness and second chances. A story about facing your fears. A story about finding love in places you least expect it.

When Samantha returns to Thunder Creek to care for her grandmother, the very last person she expects to s
WHat I liked- This was a sweet clean story with a great message. I liked both characters and the supporting cast was good. You could tell this was a second book but it was its own story. The setting was a really good part of the story.
UNfortunately the things I didn't like( which beat the things I did)- I love dialog between characters especially the love interest. These two spent most of the whole book not talking and that drove me crazy. I felt like I didn't see them fall in love at all, it j

Samantha Winters broke up with Nick Chastain because he was a professional daredevil, a college professor whose out-of-class adventures mean he’s an adrenaline-seeking modern Indiana Jones. Two years later, she’s back in her home town of Thunder Creek for three months, to help her grandmother recover from a riding accident. Nick is there, working on her brother’s farm. Why?

Nick was injured in a white-water rafting accident not long after he and Sam broke up. He suffers from memory loss, which me

"None of us knows what the future holds. Much of what happens in life will never make sense to our mortal minds. But nothing is random or by accident. Our God still reigns, and He still has a plan for every one of us." (p 143)

I adore Gran! Love her wisdom and her patience and the way she opens her heart to everyone. She lives her faith, even as she sweetly conspires to see her granddaughter into a happily-ever-after. Gran and her friends may be secondary characters but their support is pivotal t

"Life is full of chaos, no matter how hard you try to keep it in order. You have to live it the best you can."

Samantha Winters has been living in fear since losing her father in a skiing accident many years ago. Fear governs her life and has, in part, cost her a wonderful relationship with Nick Chastain. Nick liked living on the edge, kayaking, white water rafting, you name it. It made him happy. But Samantha couldn't deal with it and they broke up.

Two years later Samantha moves to Thunder Creek

2 1/2 stars.

The story was okay, but it had the potential to be so much more. I didn't see any reason to include the grandmother's POV. In a romance, there should have been only Nick's and Sam's.

The author has problems with the transitions between chapters. It broke the flow and made the reading harder.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Thomas Nelson through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

ou're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher has a gorgeous cover that gripped my attention. I love how the woman is totally focused on the man in the picture, and he leans in capture her gaze. This drew me into the story right away. As for the novel, I knew it was a contemporary romance, so I knew what I was expecting when I picked up the book. I knew I was going to get a quick romance with a lot to tension thrown at the couple as they decide if they want to be together over everything else fightin ...more

This was a beautiful, heart-wrenching story. Samantha and Nick's past relationship that abruptly ended has some unresolved hurts. When Samantha moves to Idaho to help her grandmother recuperate after a bad accident, she and Nick are thrown back in the same sphere with common friends and of course, Nick's part in Samantha's grandmother rescue after an accident.
Both Samantha who is still wondering exactly why things broke off so abruptly, and Nick who has go

Well, the title promised it…and I did (love this book, that is)! You’re Gonna Love Me is book two in the Thunder Creek series, however, it can be easily be read as a stand alone title.

I enjoyed Samantha, Nick, and grandma Ruth so much! This story is a contemporary romance set in a small town, which is truly one of my favorite settings when I read. But, what set this book apart for me was the romantic past that these two characters kept coming up against throughout the novel.

If you enjoy books filled with romance, faith and turning the page, this book is made for you! Told in a Hallmark fashion, you'll fall in love with the story of Samantha & Nick. Their characters are well developed, the backdrop of the story is relaxing and a wonderful pace to help you fall in love. This is by far one of my favorites of Robin Hatchers books. I couldn't put it down until I was finished as I had to know what was happening with these two characters. Put this book on your Christmas w ...more

I have mixed feelings about this book. And unfortunately, they aren’t all good.
I guess the first thing I have to say is that I did not like Samantha at all. I didn’t understand her. The reason why is because there was no back story–or not a lot. To me, it seemed as though Samantha was simply scared of everything. I only understood why she didn’t like Nick doing all the things because I read the synopsis above. However, as soon as I started the book, I forgot about the synopsis. I simply wanted t

This book was a bit of a departure from my normal romance read. I don’t usually go for the Christian romances - mostly because it seems the main point of the book is proselytizing instead of telling a good story first (not that I have anything against proselytizing, it’s just that if I want to learn about Jesus, I’m not gonna go to a romance book for that). Admittedly, it’s been a long time since I read a Christian romance, so I decided to give this new book a chance to see if there was any chan ...more

There’s nothing like a ‘second chances’ story and Robin Lee Hatcher take that theme and runs with it in this, her new novel You’re Gonna Love Me.

Samantha Winter’s leads a predictable, safe and some would argue . . . boring life. She takes no risks and has no desire to change that. Then she met Nick and found her alter ego opposite who laughs danger in the face with a almost devil may care attitude. When he organises what Samantha believes is a reckless and unnecessarily dangerous kayak trip, fo

This is a heart-warming, wholesome romance but it was pretty formulaic and, unfortunately, didn't hold my interest. I enjoyed the setting since I live in Idaho but I just couldn't seem to connect with the characters or get into the plot or something. The premise of dealing with the after-effects of a traumatic head injury was interesting, and I loved the dog! There were many elements I did like, but overall it just didn't grab me. ...more

This moved a little too slowly for me and I had trouble getting into the story. There was too much description, not enough dialogue. I didn't read it to the end. This was the first time I read anything from this author. Not sure if I would give the writer another chance. It's clean but the writing style is a bit boring for me. When Sam returns to Thunder Creek to care for her grandmother, the last person she expects to find is her ex-boyfriend Nick. Even more surprising, though, are the changes in Nick. He's kind, considerate of others, and has a growing relationship with Christ.

Following a traumatic brain injury, Nick isn't the man he once was. Not only has his second chance at life given him a new appreciation for others and reliance on his faith, but it's also left him with some mental difficulties. He never dreame

It’s always nice to visit old friends and a beautiful little town tucked away in the mountains. I remember going to Idaho when I was a kid. I never forgot the beautiful scenery and the quaint little towns we drove through. The author has brought those memories back with a delightful story .

Sam has everything going for her far away from Idaho. She is a great accountant but I wouldn’t say she is exactly happy. After losing her father in a tragic accident, it has caused her to be fearful. I know f

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE ME is Ms. Hatcher's newest romance. Sam is dissatisfied in her life and job, but she is secure and she likes it that way. Unfortunately, she fell in love with a risk taker and he took one too many risks, so they broke up. She couldn't live with the uncertainty.

Now, Nick is back. He can no longer work at his structured job at an university due to a brain injury following an accident. He doesn't expect to run into Sam at a hospital, nor does he expect that the older woman he res

A heart warming love story.

Samantha seems to be a loving, caring kind of person. It is so hard to watch her struggle with her faith. She clings to fear as though that is what sustains her instead of God. Everything has a place and everything has to stay in that place or it sets off alarms in her soul. She is so fearful of the 'what if's' that she isn't living the life God intends her to have.

Nick is so broken by his accident that he is afraid to give love a chance. He feels like he isn't a whole

Sam is going home...for a short time.

When her Grandmother accidently falls off her horse, Sam races back home to take care of her...and get away from her boss. But she never would have imagined running into Nick again. The last thing she remembered about Nick was that he cared too much about his adventures than her and in the end, that broke her heart.

Nick remembers being a jerk to Samantha. Letting her go for the sake of adventure was the dumbest thing he ever did. But things are different now

The last person Samantha Winters expects to come across in her grandmother’s Idaho hospital room is Nick Chastain. They’d ended on bad terms, and he’d ignored her since.

Both Sam and Nick must reconcile their pasts in order to look toward their futures. Nick must deal with the fact he has to give up the adrenaline-inducing activities he once loved. Sam has to decide if she’ll continue to allow the tentacles of fear to suffocate her.

With plenty of help from the lovable citizens of Thunder Creek, w
