"Because that's what you do - fly into town, entertain your whims, and poof, you're off again on an adventure, leaving people to clean up your messes."

Those were the exact words that Luanne Palmer used to describe, Roy Bennett, a journalist and professional aeronaunt who found himself grounded and staying with her brother Geddes, who also piloted hot air balloons. Now waiting the next Hot Air Balloon Race in Helena, Montana, he never expected to find himself falling for Luanne, a schoolteacher a

I loved the historical feel to Come Fly with Me. Reading this book makes me realize that everything wasn't so simple long ago. Yet, with the great descriptions, it made me want to live even more in that era. It was such an exciting time when the modern technologies we now know were just being discovered.
There where some great characters in this book that just made me flip the pages. I loved her mom and dad (just basically her whole family), Roy, and the helpful Mrs. Hollenbeck. Luanne, a dedica

This is the first book I've read by Gina Welborn and Becca Whitham. Their joint effort really pulled this story together. I definitely enjoyed reading this book and am in the process of reading the next one, The Promise Bride and am enjoying it as well. I got a little angry with the heroine, Luanne Palmer because she was so uptight about the rules of being a teacher. The main one being no dating during her contract year. If she had just been honest with the hero, Roy Bennet, they could have work ...more

This is a fun historical fiction story that takes place at a time when society has too many rules about the reputation of unmarried women, especially one who makes her living as a teacher in Montana in 1886. Luanne Palmer loves teaching, especially when her students become fascinated with hot air balloons and she develops a fascination with a certain balloon pilot who will change her life. I really enjoyed it!

The stories are historically accurate. The Authors take great pains in their research. Love the Christian bent in the stories. Just good clean fun reading!

Luann, spinster schoolteacher, is forbidden to court or be alone with any man. That doesn't seem to stop Roy from pursuing her. As Luann's class demonstrates an interest in Roy's hobby of hot air balloons, he uses that opportunity to win Luann's love.

This is a sweet read. Nothing truly special in way of plot or storyline, but it was quick and happy. I enjoyed reading it, and would read another.
