Dia and Stone.....

This book is short and cute. As an overall, I enjoyed it.

Dia is a human who has caught the eyes of Stone Blaylock, an alpha wolf shifter, Stone knows that Dia is his true mate but because she is human she knows nothing about mates or shifters. Stone tries to get her to go on a dat
Sissy's Romance Book Review
'The Alpha's Secret Family' by Jessie Lane is book three in the "Howls Romance" series. This is the story of Stone and Dia. This is a short but sweet story of Stone who is an Alpha Wolf Shiftier who after seeing Dia knows that she is his life mate. Dia has just moved to this small town after taking over her Mentor's Beauty Shop and doesn't have time for any relationships now. But Stone isn't letting up and it doesn't take long for him to win out. My biggest wish was that the book was loner than ...more

This would be my second read by Jessie Lane and I really enjoyed it , the only thing I that there was more scenes between the couple before the accident and didn't time jump so soon would have felt more for the couple . Dia was a interesting heroine she fights her attraction to the hero until she can't fight it anymore . Stone was a true alpha he will do anything to get his mate it doesn't bother him that she is a humane . The shared a electric connection again I wish it wasn't so time jumpy bu ...more

Talk about a wild and crazy ride. O.o As always, Jessie Lane had me turning pages and trying to figure out what was happening. Seriously, I could not read fast enough. I do however, wish that there had been a little more. I think more of Dia would have been a great addition to the story. All in all though, I loved it! Shifters are awesome in their own rights but add in a sassy human and all bets are off.

Stone Blaylock, alpha, hot tempered man that he is goes all i

This book was a quick interesting read. This is a paranormal book, so if that is not your cup of tea, this will not be the best book for you if you are looking for something quick. Overall I enjoyed this book. I always enjoy books with Alphas and shape shifters. Its even better in my opinion when the mate is a human, I always love when they have to try and explain and get them to understand that always makes the book more fun.
I will say, I wish that the story was flushed out a little bit more.

Dia is new in town, having moved here to take over the beauty salon. When she goes to the diner to eat, she is joined by Stone, who at that point makes his interest known. Gotta tell the girl ya want her and sorta stake his claim kind of thing, only it doesn't go the way Stone hopes, as Dia says no. She says no for a steady week, until one day when she is leaving work Stone saves her from a runaway car. From that moment on they see each other everyday, How will Dia re

As You Wish

This is the first time that I have read this author , I started collecting the Howl's romance books , and this was one of them . I was very impressed . I loved the story , and how the author made it relate to a movie I always enjoyed . The female lead is a strong-willed woman who knows her mind and is willing to fight . This story had so many elements to it that kept you turning the pages , everything from shifters, to witchcraft , to memory loss. I highly recommend this book , actual

3.5 stars due to shortness and lack of explanation for actions taken.
A short sweet read that was interesting but also quite sad due to circumstances caused by the actions and bigotry of a few others.
Both Stone and Dia lost out on all those wonderful happy times with no real explanation as to why these actions were taken either, leaving one to assume their own reasons.
I cannot say anymore without giving the story away.
Liked both main characters and a lovely ending. I hope we get more books from t

just read the first eleven books in this set. they are all short, fun and fast and all standalones. can read one or all in any order. each author takes a basic format and expands it how they see fit. there is no deep heavy reading here - one of my faves of this series but then I really enjoy this author's work

3.5 stars due to lack of explanation for actions taken. I felt dropped right in the middle of the story versus explanations for what happened.
Both Stone and Dia lost out on all the good happy times and there was no real explanation as to why these actions were taken either, leaving one to assume their own reasons.
I won't say anything else because it will give the plot away, and we all know I don't like that.
Liked both main characters, I thought they were well developed and would have loved to ha

Good read

I love the whole Howls Romance series and this one did not disappoint. The book had great passion, a strong perfective alpha mate, a bit of action, and most importantly a HEA. Its a fast but satisfying afternoon read

Persistence pays off

Loved Stone's persistence with Gia. No matter how many times she said no he wouldn't give up on her. Gia was sassy and fun. Loved their interactions.

The Alphas Secret Family by Jessie Lane is paranormal stand alone romance novel.

Meet Dia and Stone Blaylock.
Dia is owner of a hair salon and Stone is Alpha of the Battletown Pack.
Stone sees her and knows her immediatedly as his mate. But Dia is human and she knows nothing about shifters.
Stone has to woo her, and woo her he does. Oh boy he is persistent.
They start a relationship and are in love with each other. Hes a typical Alpha overbearing and all.
Everything could be sunshine and roses, but no

Wanted more...

The Alpha's Secret Family was a fast paced read for bibliophiles who don't have a lot of time to dedicate to hours long reading. Although I usually enjoy Jessie's writing, I couldn't fully enjoy the story because of its brevity and pacing. I would have much more enjoyed a fuller length version of this same story where the pacing could have been slowed down enough where the story could unfold in such a way that we could have experienced the love and drama unfold. I highly recommend
